11/08/2025: A pizza place or restaurant. It offers a good variety of very good dishes. We tried both the meat and pasta dishes, and the pan-fried pizza was truly excellent! The only downside is the entrance, which is a bit awkward for those with mobility issues or a stroller. To get in, you have to climb some steep stone stairs. For this reason alone, I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5.

11/08/2025: A very charming hotel in Petralia Sottana! Very warm and friendly! The location is great, as you can drive right up to the hotel door to unload your luggage! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. This hotel, besides being highly recommended, has the great advantage of having a restaurant on the premises. The service is warm and friendly. I recommend it.

29/08/2025: We chose this restaurant from among the many in Ortigia and were delighted with the quality and deliciousness of the ingredients, and therefore the dishes. The caponata was excellent, truly excellent, with a very unique recipe: raisins and pine nuts in a triumph of Sicilian style. The staff, consisting of two sisters in the dining room (the third in the kitchen), is very friendly and approachable. They make you feel at home and offer plenty of advice. The fish is fresh. We have some concerns about the desserts, which look beautiful but are actually quite lacking, and the surrounding atmosphere (we practically ate dinner on the sidewalk). Overall, a highly recommended option for lunch or dinner on the beautiful island of Ortigia.

04/07/2025: On the advice of our friends we went to the Pirandello restaurant after visiting the Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino museum a few hundred meters away. The two owners were very welcoming and good company. The food was all delicious, the first courses were enormous, there must have been 150/200 grams of pasta, excellent and with quality sauce.

20/08/2025: Excellent location, excellent service, and above all, excellent food, from appetizers to delicious parfaits. The main courses are absolutely outstanding, from the excellent grilled lamb to the delicious pork, the delicious sausage, and the spectacular Angus steak. Quality, courtesy, and deliciousness. Highly recommended.

05/08/2025: Beautiful location and excellent food. The portions are generous, and the prices, while not as cheap as they were a few years ago, remain average for Sicilian restaurants. Let's just say that for around €30-35 per person, you'll leave feeling satisfied! It's definitely worth a visit for the excellent selection of typical local products on sale and the pleasant coolness of the place, perfect for a relaxing summer lunch. Honorable mention for the crispy almond wafer with ricotta 😋

Lástima que el personal amontonó todo el mazapán encima de la bandeja llena de pasteles hermosos caros que traje en la bolsa para que fueran destruidos. Tristes como se veían hermosos, pero era una bandeja de desorden aplastado. Ahora al personal. TOTALMENTE DECEPCIONANTE. Rude y yo podemos hablar un poco de italiano, pero para ser burlados por las dos mujeres detrás del mostrador por una ligera mala pronunciación. Inaceptable y fuera de lugar para los turistas. Soy jefe de cocina y he trabajado en hostelería durante años, es una pena que el personal defraudara este establecimiento.
