21/08/2024: Cozy restaurant, even though they were half an hour from closing they served us without problems. Very fast service and very friendly staff. Delicious and soft pizza!

20/08/2024: On holiday in Cagliari we tried again and reconfirmed the excellent culinary experience in this decentralized place. Impeccable service and great care for the customer. Welcomed with a taster offered by the restaurant, we continued with excellent battered courgette flowers and fried mussels accompanied by tomato cream (exceptional). Then the fantastic pizzas, I personally tasted a Sardinian variant of the 4 cheeses (literally an explosion of flavours, irresistible!). Truly a nice place to eat and experience the pleasure of dining, well done.

14/08/2024: At the suggestion of a local resident I try to book by phone to have lunch that day at Mondo e Luca. I call and I am answered by a man with a superficial and grumpy tone who accepts me at 1pm and not at 12.30 as I asked without the right to reply or the reason for my request. Afterwards he barked out some terms that I didn't quite understand. I thanked him and refused the imposed time. Well, a surreal call, it will be for the next one, perhaps up close they will have a more collaborative attitude also because they told me the food was good. Probably on the other end of the phone he will have understood that I wanted some money from him or he will have thought that I wanted to give him a findomestic loan.

16/08/2024: We tried local dishes, all delicious. Familiar and welcoming atmosphere, very kind staff. The rosemary panna cotta is highly recommended, very particular and tasty.

12/08/2024: We were there a day after we had dinner at the (crowded and cheerless La Caletta): what a contrast!!! The welcome here was super warm, the food sublime, the environment small-scale and very intimate. This address gets a heart on Google Maps!

03/08/2024: While passing through for food and wine expenses (wine, bread, cheese and honey), the producers suggest we try the typical dishes of Cibus. We arrive on a hot July day, almost as they close, and we find a kind and very friendly welcome that immediately puts us at ease. We tasted: local oysters, Sappueddus with sheep ragu (an excellently prepared, tasty and delicious dish that we all appreciated) and sheep ribs (cooked to perfection). We chat with the chef who entertains us with his expertise and knowledge and we arrive at the café after having had a super pleasant lunch break. Highly recommended

27/07/2024: I'm not too generous with votes but in the case of Cibus I can do it with pleasure, taste, service and atmosphere accompany you throughout the evening. You can choose between seafood or land menus but also traditional dishes.... in short.... it's all there! We went 2 times in 15 days and the last time with my son and his girlfriend.... my lily ate the world. It was a pleasure to have a chat with the chef and I would also like to say hello to our very nice and good waitress who, unfortunately, I didn't ask her name! To next year!!

07/08/2024: Tasting at Is Femminas is truly an experience! We're not just talking about food, here we go beyond... the organizational ability of the girls in the dining room has an entirely feminine touch, every time I've had the pleasure of dining with them it's like witnessing magic, my compliments go to Ramona who attentively and vigilantly conducts the room like an orchestra conductor. His explanation of the dishes is quick, despite the large tasting menu among the à la carte choices, he doesn't waste time, he advises you and at the same time asks you about allergies, intolerances, etc., he already wants to see you eat and know how it went YOU CAN TELL FROM THE HIS ENERGY WHICH WAS BORN OUT OF THIS WORK!! While I'm writing, a colleague has already brought the bread, another a small entrée, another the water, in short... within a very short space of time despite the packed place and the queue outside I'm already eating the starter. The dishes that come out of the kitchen are authentic and you are satisfied at the first bite! Room 3 only because the internal room with the windows is in my opinion very badly organised, the fridge practically in the middle is an eyesore, the more rustic part of the room divided across the street is welcoming and original. Good work and good luck!!

04/08/2024: The prawn and octopus antipasti were very tender and delicious. I appreciated the fact that they could be combined as one plate for one person.

09/08/2024: I ate the best ice cream I can remember! Piedmont hazelnut and space gianduia, in the cone made by them. For those who don't like butter too much, I don't recommend the cone. Try the cakes

08/08/2024: What can I say? Fantastic ice cream, refined flavors and exceptional flavour. In short, not the usual boring Gelato and three very nice girls at the service, with whom we had a laugh at my slightly Sardinian accent 😂. I took an artisanal cone made by them, very good with a buttery flavour, with Dominican Republic Chocolate and Peach and Basil flavours, highly recommended. My favorite ice cream shop to date 😉

10/08/2024: Very nice and well looked after place, really excellent food and generous portions (first of all I recommend the fregola, spectacular and also the octopus in garlic sauce) perfect service and really helpful and courteous waiters. Fair price. I recommend it!

10/08/2024: We had lunch in this trattoria found in the wonderful streets of Alghero! Very friendly staff and superb food! Excellent value for money! Ps. They also have veg options!!!! Absolutely recommended!

23/08/2024: This restaurant is a gem - by far the best food we had on the island. The people working there love what they are doing and focus on what counts, which is the food. No bullshit like expensive cutlery or comfy chairs but the most creative, fresh and still traditional food we’ve had in two weeks. We came there twice and are still beyond grateful. Best restaurant I’ve been in a long time. Grazie mille!

21/08/2024: With my partner we chose two fish tasting menus (5 courses plus one dessert). Initially enthusiastic about the quality of the dishes, I then realize that the actual quantity of fish in the dishes is truly paltry. In fact, despite the amount of bread eaten with it, I arrive at the end of dinner still a little hungry. Initially warned that the dishes were half portions, it seemed to me that they were approximately a quarter of a 'standard' portion. The only course that corresponded, in my opinion, to a half portion, was the dessert. We're not there. At €67 the cost of a single menu excluding drinks, I expected a quantity of fish at least equal to what we are usually used to eating in other restaurants by ordering even just two dishes, chosen from appetizer, first course and second course. The following judgment follows: Too expensive! In several other restaurants, traveling around Sardinia, we ate very fresh and delicious fish with prices within €45 per person excluding drinks. The place is small and simple, little space between the tables, the decor with vintage film posters is 'nice', but nothing more (it is certainly not the location that can justify such high prices). I express my opinion at the time of the bill and 'open up oh heavens'...an unpleasant discussion arises. Too bad, instead of receiving a criticism from the customer, on the other hand a series of responses as if I were just talking nonsense. Therefore also Zero humility and Lots of arrogance.

16/08/2024: For a quick lunch before taking the ferry to Rome it is the perfect place. Exquisite dishes, simple but not banal and rightly tasty. The couscous with chicken and vegetables that I ate was excellent. The staff are well-trained and very kind, and the place is furnished with taste and a pinch of irony. Highly recommended!
