05/08/2026: An excellent restaurant right in the heart of vibrant Carovigno. We especially recommend the mixed appetizers; the variety that arrives at your table is truly impressive. We've never experienced such a diverse range of different, varied, and expertly prepared dishes before. Excellent value for money! The quality of all the dishes was outstanding, and they were prepared with great care. A thoroughly enjoyable evening for us, and we highly recommend it. Be sure to book well in advance!

17/08/2026: This little restaurant in the narrow streets of San Michele Salentino was recommended to me by a great local doctor, and I had a wonderful time! I started with the tuna tartare with berries (amazing!), then had a light, crispy, and delicious mixed fried fish platter. Paired with a glass of Fiano, I finished the meal with a fig and ricotta dessert. Highly recommended!

11/08/2026: Avoid!! I had dinner in August with my girlfriend. It seemed like a lovely, romantic place, but unfortunately, that's just an appearance. I'll start by praising the young waitress, who was always courteous and attentive in her service. Moving on to the sore points: the kitchen wait times! For a fresh cheese appetizer (four small pieces (€20) of cheese clumsily placed on a plate) they took over 30 minutes! It wasn't even necessary to cook them! Then we continued with a mixed fried fish dish, of which I've attached a photo, which shouldn't even be listed on the menu as such given the complete lack of batter to cover the two types of fish on the plate (four shrimp and a few squid rings, which were objectively also of poor quality). I don't usually write bad reviews, because I can understand bad nights (where the effort to give the customer a pleasant evening is perceived), but not tourist traps whose sole purpose is to occupy the restaurant's seats.

The refusal to add a table (there were four of us at an 80x80cm table) because all the tables were booked was unacceptable and unfair. Bottom line: a couple with two children were seated at two tables, and all five available tables remained unused until the end of the dinner. Speechless!!!!!!

26/10/2025: This family operated restaurant was a real find for us for our last night in Ostuni. The appetizer along with very hot bread was amazing. Our Pasta Dishes came out hot and tasty. The bottle of red vinegar was a stand out and the local lemon cello finished off a perfect evening! The price for dinner was less than many less memorable meals we’ve had. Give this place a try and enjoy!

17/07/2026: A paradise for people with celiac disease. Friendly staff and a wide selection of gluten-free products. They also offer many fresh items, such as croissants and focaccia. There are also regional sweet pastries and even fresh orecchiette made to order. We'll definitely be back.
