28/07/2025: Stopped by this shop and was blown away by how beautiful their cakes were! I placed an order, and they already had it ready to go, which was perfect because I needed it last-minute. The most amazing Tiramisu !

13/07/2025: The view was simply breathtaking, a panorama that left me speechless. The setting was peaceful and meticulously maintained, perfect for relaxing. I truly appreciated the serene atmosphere, perfect for a break. I will definitely return to enjoy this little corner of paradise.

18/07/2025: Delicious pizzas, thin crusts with crispy edges, seemingly from a wood-fired oven. There's plenty of space to sit outside (they'll easily add a table if needed). It's nice and quiet, and the staff is friendly and quick. A big plus is the large parking lot right outside.

02/07/2025: I highly recommend it. 5 stars for everything. The place is quiet and pleasant, away from the chaos, with ample outdoor space. Raw materials carefully chosen and you can feel it in the dishes offered that favor the use of local products. Excellent choice of beers. The intent of the owners is clearly perceived: to highlight local products; to offer traditional cuisine but with an evident study at the base; to offer a relaxed environment where you can spend good times. The service is attentive and friendly.

17/06/2025: Luxurious but with unpleasant glass doors that do not match the rest, in the garden more than pines I saw many palm trees. Good desserts but less so the rest. I worked on a Wedding with a live performance of Sand art in this location.

17/08/2025: Delicious meal and we were happy to get a table on the same day. The food was very good although we felt rushed through the meal. The servers take your order and appetizers come quickly. We got the zucchini flowers and calamari fritti, which were very good. They do two seatings at 730 and 9 and make it known you have to arrive on time so they can have the next table ready.

Retrogusto lives up to the highest standards of Italian charme and hospitality. A tucked away corner popping up unexpectedly from the cobblestone streets connecting important sites of Brindisi's old town (you just can't miss the nearby archeological museum Francesco Ribezzo, outstanding yet virtually unkown), this place will surprise you with its quaint atmosphere, welcoming vibe and courteous professionalism. The staff is very kind, competent and warm, making you feel at home all along, while preparing the top cocktails in the process! Make it a must stop in Brindisi 💗

31/03/2025: Great place off the beaten track. Shockingly, there were no crowds yesterday (a plus for me) and I'm surprised because there's a really great atmosphere there!

01/08/2025: A very nice place in the center of Brindisi. The staff is kind and friendly. The service is quick and impeccable! The sandwiches and tartare are truly delicious! Definitely worth a try!

17/08/2025: The Apulian appetizer was a joke... shrimp in pink sauce, smoked salmon with a glaze, and sautéed zucchini... the only thing Apulian was the mozzarella... I ordered the seafood cavatelli, and there were two mussels and two clams per order. The receipt read "cavatelli with clams and mussels," while the menu said seafood. A complete joke and an exorbitant price.

28/07/2025: A lovely restaurant and wine bar, with indoor dining rooms and a lovely garden. We dined on a small balcony overlooking the garden. The staff was friendly and courteous. We ate well. The wine selection is extensive, but the food selection is a bit less so.
