Bar Del Porto In Ostuni

01/08/2026: Not exactly sure to share the opinions of others, writing it is one of the best in Puglia….The restaurant wants to appear gastronomic but in the end everything lacks what takes a dish from decently good to excellent (acidity, « kick » in taste, etc.). Plus the composition of the menu - more winter than summer…If some like it, good for the chef. But true food lovers will understand. And a (very) strange way to welcome, on top of that…

31/07/2026: We were actually on the way to dinner next door at the panzerotti place and were severely underdressed when we stumbled on this place. However, the owner welcomed us in and we felt right at home. I'm so glad we found it because it's hands down some of the best food I've eaten. I was shocked just how much food we got. Getting complimentary small plates with each course isn't something you typically see in the United States so this was a complete surprise to us. Everything was delicious, and the wine parings were perfect. My favorite dish was actually the amuse bouche zucchini sandwiches. They were incredible, and I would order them as a lunch entree all on their own. We had our daughter with us, who is a picky eater, and they were kind enough to serve her pasta in tomato sauce and homemade chips. We loved everything and I'm so sad that we have an ocean keeping us from returning.
