10/04/2026: Our meal at Giuseppe’s was amazing! He was so welcoming and nice, helped us with ordering the right things. We had so much food, very good value for what you get. Delicious, perfectly cooked pasta, an array of antipasti, homemade limoncello and amaro. The staff were so lovely and caring. I can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area and would like a truly authentic experience.

01/05/2026: Lovely place, with very tasty regional dishes. We shared the mixed antipasto, the stuffed artichokes, rabbit and fig gelato. The wines recommended (by the glass) were both very good. Staff were all switched on and very helpful.

29/04/2026: Just wonderful. Cibus really cares about top quality ingredients served simply - the cornerstone of good Italian cooking! The service here is friendly and efficient, and the menu made sure to highlight seasonal ingredients at their best. I ordered the asparagus carbonara followed by the porcetta with fennel and citrus, with married fig ice cream for dessert. All were excellent, and very reasonably priced. Cibus also allowed us to bring our own white wine into the restaurant (we had come straight from a local wine tasting!) which was so appreciated. They kept it cold for us until our dishes arrived - brilliant service! The setting for this restaurant is chic without bring pretentious, instead coming across as welcoming and well-grounded. The surrounding streets are also quiet and very pretty! I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic date night, a celebration with friends and family, or just a treat dinner. Thanks Cibus! ✨

We moved straight on to the main course, with "Potato Loaf," as it was written on the menu, but in reality, it was a slightly elongated, burnt, tough, and flavorless meatball—definitely not worth the €14 price tag. The herb timbale was so-so.

13/04/2026: Out of this world! I recently visited this place, and I have to admit I had no expectations. Unfortunately, eating a good burger is not easy, almost impossible. Well, here I wanted to try the ACDC and take a chance by adding two burgers. It was the best choice; it quickly became one of the best burgers I've ever had. Well done, well done, well done. Excellent meat, intense flavor, and so well done that you don't even realize you're eating a huge sandwich; it was easy to eat. I wasn't so sure about the fries, but probably only because I fell in love with that sandwich and I had no eyes for anything else. The staff was courteous, friendly, and super helpful. I recommend it, trust me.

22/03/2026: I went with a group of friends. The place was very nice and unique. The burgers were delicious, and the ingredients were top-quality. My only complaint, in my opinion, was the slow service. Since it's a place with two rooms, having one person to take orders and one waitress slows down the service, especially on Saturdays. The waitress also worked as a cashier, which increases the wait time! However, I suggest increasing the staff to ensure impeccable service, especially on weekends. I'll be back.

04/04/2026: The place is very crowded and eccentrically decorated. The staff is friendly, but conversation is difficult given the rushed service. The appetizers are better than the pizza. Perhaps a few more wines on the menu would improve the service; only wines from a single cellar seems a bit anachronistic to me.

22/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant under what I believe is new management. Angelo is an expert host who knows his job well. But above all, he's a good person. He immediately puts you at ease and suggests dishes to introduce you to their excellent traditional cuisine, not out of a greed for sales. As for the food, there's not much to say. Except that everything is excellent, genuine, authentic, and homemade. Borgo Antico is a guarantee. I just recommend booking for Sunday lunch.

This little pastry shop is a gem for those who love authentic flavors: a cozy place reminiscent of old-fashioned shops, where every detail exudes care and tradition. As soon as you enter, you're enveloped by an irresistible scent of lemon and almond, a foretaste of the quality of the products. The almond-based desserts are extraordinary: delicate, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. A place that captivates not only with its flavor, but also with its warm, authentic atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

23/02/2026: Definitely the best restaurant I stumbled upon during my three-week road trip through Puglia. The service was discreet and efficient, the advice on choosing a local wine was perfect, and the traditional cuisine was delicious. A flawless experience at Taverna dei Domicani.

18/02/2026: Every year I go to Ceglie for about 10 days. For me, Taverna di Domenicani is the best place to enjoy authentic, quality Apulian cuisine. The ingredients are of the highest quality and always fresh. The catch is the catch of the day. The owner is a wonderful person and truly professional. The service is precise, attentive, and meticulous. The location is central, beneath Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Ceglie. It's easily accessible on foot. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. For us, it's our regular meeting place in Ceglie.
