Michele, the owner, and his son Vanni are truly special people. They welcome you in the best possible way and make you feel at home.
07/04/2026: We returned yesterday for lunch on Easter Monday. Always beautiful and tidy, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. But one major flaw: there were four dogs inside, one of which was barking constantly and causing a huge nuisance. Lots of people nearby complained. I understand the dog owners' rudeness, but out of respect for the other guests, it would be enough to deny entry. This is just my advice. Excellent service. Great food, but we didn't feel as comfortable as this lovely restaurant deserves.

15/06/2026: A wonderful experience, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent ingredients, expertly cooked to order. The unexpected surprise was the cassata, expertly prepared by the chef. Fair prices. See you soon.
15/06/2026: Really great food and service. The tuna and salmon tartar was amazing. The tiramusu was so good. Our server was very friendly and made good suggestions. The atmosphere was very nice amd charming on a lovely side street. 10/10 recommend.

01/05/2026: I was at this place today... the interior is beautiful, the service is fast, the staff is very friendly... what can I say about the food? Excellent! The seafood and meat appetizers were delicious; the rice, potatoes, and mussels were very good, the spaghetti with octopus ragù was delicious... I would go back again to try the other dishes. Congratulations!

21/05/2026: Excellent dishes featuring the freshest seafood, freshly prepared. We enjoyed a delicious pasta with octopus and the pasta of the day, with garlic, oil, chili pepper, sea bream, and fried breadcrumbs. A mixed grill was also available, and to finish, a delicious caprese salad and ricotta and almond cake. The owner was very kind and even offered us freshly baked taralli and house amaro. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back!

It’s really hard to top what you can find here. Even if this was not enough, the service is impeccable and the maitre Jack is the best in the world! Highly recommended: no chance visiting Puglia without stopping by at Coccaro Beach club restaurant

02/06/2026: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Its strong point is undoubtedly the excellent service: the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive to the needs of their guests, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The food also deserves top marks. Each dish was prepared with excellent, fresh, and well-presented ingredients. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, a sign of great care and attention in the preparation.
A restaurant that stands out for its hospitality and the quality of its cuisine. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent dishes accompanied by impeccable service.
31/05/2026: A one-of-a-kind restaurant, very refined and meticulously crafted. Excellent lunch, meticulously prepared by Chef Simone Picoco. I hope to return to enjoy the Michelin-starred gourmet dishes of Brindisi's excellent seafood.

18/05/2026: The food is good, and that's the best part. The menu has been updated not only in terms of selection but also in terms of quality. The shellfish meatballs with mustard are irresistible. Then the tartare is incredible, with beautiful combinations of flavors and ingredients. Whether it's a sandwich or a first course, the experience continues with gusto. The second courses are also truly delicious. The staff are very professional and always attentive. The space is a bit cramped, but so is the square. The outdoor seating area, which holds up well even in the rain, is superb.
16/05/2026: The meal was super delicious. But the service chef was not friendly and unpolite. We did not felt welcome. But we spoke with the chef and he was a pretty nice guy.
All in All, nice meals and improveable waiter performance.

03/05/2026: We especially enjoyed the octopus potato starter, but the pastas were also excellent! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with maritime artefacts and has a cozy rustic vibe. Staff were friendly and attentive.

09/06/2026: By far the most popular of the many restaurants in the village, but not one I'd return to. The food was good but the ambience was very poor.
09/06/2026: Welcoming atmosphere both inside and out, competent and helpful staff. Excellent food made with quality ingredients. The raw fish dishes are top-notch, including the fried fish and roasted snapper, a nice interlude with raw vegetables. The wine list is well-stocked.
On the Via Francigena yesterday for the second time.

08/04/2026: Very good pizza, even better wine, excellent service, and especially—unfortunately, I don't remember the waitress's name—a slightly built waitress. Despite the language barrier, we got along perfectly. Prices are typical of regional Poland.
08/04/2026: Lovely view and professional attire. On the first glance you'd think it's "touristy".
But tourists also must eat. During our lunch 2 out of 5 or 6 occupied tables were from abroad (us included).
Yes, this is a place to have a good meal.
And locals eat here too :-)
So, top taste, scenery and service.

07/06/2026: Up until the bill, everything was fine, but I'd say it was REALLY shameful, to say the least, after spending a whopping 120 euros on two separate bills and seeing the receipt for 5 euros JUST FOR COOKING SOUP for a two-year-old (I should point out that we brought the soup!), only for COOKING it for him. They charged me 5 euros, I didn't say anything because 5 euros doesn't change our lives and we were gentlemen, but they were terrible on a human level!! Never again, just for a matter of principle! We go to lots of restaurants every week, but something like this has never happened! Shame!

31/05/2026: Visited with my wife and two teenage sons. Very much enjoyed it, three of us chose the Antipasti della casa, which at 20 euro is remarkable value. Many small plates arrived, all of which were delicious and of great quality, first time I've eaten raw prawns, excellent, go and try it!
27/05/2026: We stopped by chance, the owner was very kind and made us sit down immediately bringing us a welcome consisting of meatballs, all the delicious appetizers and we would never have thought how high the level of the dishes was, beautiful and super good😊It is now one of my favorite places🥰we will be back soon!

12/06/2026: Best restaurant in all of Puglia, located in a small village far from the crowds. Outstanding service and cuisine. Well worth the detour.
07/06/2026: A fantastic culinary experience in a traditional yet modern restaurant. I ate the freshest fish, but not only that. Among the appetizers, don't miss the meat-based ones!
Mimmo was super in the dining room; he welcomed us perfectly, and the lunch was no exception.
I'll be back.
