01/10/2025: A lovely place, I'd say. It's improved over the years, and the management may have changed too! The specialty is the ricotta forte with olives and tomatoes, which they deliver as soon as they arrive. They open their doors for the appetizer! The appetizer was quite good, the meat could have been cooked less, but overall I was satisfied! All this included in the €35 menu, including wine, dessert, and limoncello! Very fair price.

24/08/2025: Nice idea, perhaps overkill to have EVERYTHING potato-based, for example in the appetizers. A little variety would help. It's not exactly ideal to have potatoes as an appetizer and potatoes as a main course (they'd definitely sell more of them in the appetizers, a sales tip). Otherwise, very good, a menu with plenty of choices, the potato fillings are really good. I'd gladly return, especially considering the prices.

16/09/2025: A very cute and quaint place, especially popular in the summer because it's a quaint courtyard outside. The interior is a bit small. We only had pettole (which were good) and a piadina. The menu is typical pub fare. Service is a bit slow, but I'd definitely go back.

09/06/2025: Esperienza positiva in questo posto molto particolare e carino per una cena con un'amica. Già l'esterno è molto caratteristico, dentro lo è ancora di più, e c'è anche un bel giardino. Cibo buono come anche il servizio. Personalmente ho scelto un frittino misto, con porzioni molto generose e una buona tagliata di manzo. Consigliato!

22/10/2025: During our stay, we dined at the restaurant inside the Albano estate: a warm, welcoming atmosphere with very courteous and professional staff. We felt right at home, pampered in every way. The menu is varied and traditional, the dishes well-prepared and plentiful; the food was quality, accompanied by excellent wines from their own production. It was truly a pleasure! Highly recommended if you're in the area, even if you're not staying there. You can make a reservation and visit this splendid location on that occasion.

01/09/2025: Rude staff, they don't even know what food allergens are. My girlfriend specifically asked not to put sesame seeds, they put wakame seaweed in the poke. After asking them to remake it because there was sesame oil in the wakame, she said, "No, it doesn't." Her colleague checked the package and confirmed that there was sesame oil. Then the cashier I was referring to took it personally and started saying, "The girl didn't even tell me she was allergic, otherwise I would have checked first. Besides, since you're being rude, I don't even want to remake it." I simply told her, "You can remake it since you don't even know what allergens are in it." Finally, after resisting and justifying themselves without even apologizing, they remade it, but my girlfriend is having a severe allergic reaction. These guys send people to the hospital, and if you mention it to them, they even demand an apology because you were rude. Good food, staff to throw away.

17/08/2025: The evening was ruined by terrible service, to say the least. We were served by an embarrassing waiter who kept making unpleasant and meaningless jokes. He started by telling us that the octopus was out and that he obviously had nothing to do with it and therefore didn't want to make a fool of himself. When we asked for missing cutlery and glasses, he always responded arrogantly. The professionalism was absolutely zero. The cuisine was mediocre. We ordered four plates of grilled picanha, and more than half of it was greasy. I'm very sorry, but I absolutely do not recommend this place.

14/08/2025: The restaurant is well-presented, with elegant furnishings and a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly and helpful service. The start was truly promising: the crispy chips, perfectly golden, proved to be the perfect appetizer. The meatballs, soft and flavorful, confirmed the initial good impression. Then came the roasted octopus... and that's when the magic ended. Aside from a touch of salt, it was practically bland, lacking the intense flavor you expect from such a dish. The texture made things worse: hard, rubbery, and difficult to chew, making the dish more of a test of endurance than a pleasure. A real shame, because with a little more attention to cooking and seasoning, it could have been as good as the rest.

05/10/2025: Many years and always reliable. Very young, friendly, and fast staff. Dishes from our traditional Apulian cuisine... Numerous good appetizers, orecchiette with seasonal vegetables, very good and plentiful, mixed roast meat could be improved in quality and it arrived cold...

21/05/2025: Don't be fooled by the ordinary appearance of the place when you are outside on the street. Step in and experience the warm and welcoming staff and the tastiest panzerotto. The place seems to be favoured by the locals and no wonder why. It become our new favourite spot in Cisternino.

24/09/2025: I had a €12 burger. The meat was okay and present, but other toppings would have required a search with binoculars. The burger bun needs revisiting. You can do better.

02/09/2025: Apparently, you have to be Italian to be served properly. The dishes were tasty after an hour of waiting. The head waiter was obviously overzealous and made us pay for our hesitation when ordering. What a shame such baseness in such a magnificent setting.

23/09/2025: Based on a recommendation from the local barber shop, we had our last holiday dinner here. It was fantastic and a wonderful experience from start to finish. There were seven of us, and all our dishes tasted fresh and fabulous. A wonderful restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff.
