17/05/2025: Il cameriere un tipo basso e con gli occhiali è stato abbastanza scortese. Abbiamo scelto la formula All You Can It, e già dalla seconda portata ha iniziato a chiedere "posso continuare" e "la mangiamo tutta vero"... la litania è continuata fino alla quarta portata ove ha sentenziato "e con questo basta". Se fai All you can it devi lasciare il cliente libero di mangiare e decidere quando dire basta, specialmente se non ti fa' avanzare nulla sulle portate... prezzo alla fine 39 euro a testa con un solo dolce disponibile e di scarsa qualità

The appetizers and side dishes are also worth a mention: simple but well-made, designed to perfectly complement the meat without overpowering its flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive to their customers' needs. Highly recommended!

05/06/2025: La comida era deliciosa y los ingredientes frescos. El chef siendo el propietario vendió sus propias especialidades italianas de recepción. La cerveza estaba a temperatura exacta fría e incluso logró encontrar un asiento para tomar el aperitivo.

19/07/2025: Unacceptable experience, disastrous service. There were eight of us, intending to have a pleasant evening. Instead, it turned out to be a frustrating and disconcerting experience, which to call disappointing would be an understatement. After ordering fritters to pass the time, we found ourselves waiting over an hour for our pizzas, without anyone bothering to offer an explanation or even the slightest attention. Meanwhile, we were asked what kind of beer we wanted: we expressed our preferences, but at our table we were served completely different types. A minor mistake, if it had been the only one. The worst came with the pizzas: the staff appeared confused, disorganized, and clearly unprepared. The pizzas were announced verbally, but with the wrong names and delivered at random, so much so that two diners, unaware of the mix-up, began eating what they thought was their pizza, only realizing the mistake after a few bites. This is extremely serious, because for those with food intolerances, such carelessness could have serious consequences. To make matters even more absurd, I pointed out that my pizza was missing the truffle oil I had specifically requested as an addition. The waiter responded condescendingly: "You shouldn't blame me," and walked away without even offering a solution. When I politely requested to take the pizza back to the kitchen for the addition, the response was even more surreal: "I shouldn't be the one telling him what to do." A rude, arrogant, aggressive, and absolutely unacceptable attitude. Meanwhile, despite countless requests for water, we were never brought a bottle. And while we waited in vain, we witnessed scenes that were nothing short of grotesque: the waiters, confused and directionless, wandered around the room carrying coffees and various dishes without knowing which table they were intended for, repeatedly trying to leave us dairy products and coffees that we hadn't ordered, but were clearly intended for someone else. The service, overall, was chaotic, inattentive, and embarrassing, with no coordination between the dining room and kitchen. To call it amateurish would be a compliment. Highly discouraged.

03/08/2025: We ate very well at Elia's. The raw fish was truly excellent, as was the fried fish, dry and flavorful. The catch of the day was carefully prepared. The wine selection was also good. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. It's a shame the bar, with its unpleasant music, ruined the atmosphere. In some restaurants, the only thing that should be there is the sound of the sea. In any case, I would return, perhaps during the week for a quieter atmosphere.

30/07/2025: We dined on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, ideal for a charming sunset dinner. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Beautifully presented dishes featuring fresh seafood. The quality is good and the menu is varied. Friendly staff and quick service, even at peak times. Prices are decidedly medium-high. A fish main course at €26 is a bit excessive in my opinion.

01/08/2025: Polpetteria in Corato, a dream, everything gluten-free! Various types of meatballs; we ordered a trio, three different types for €13. The assassina ones are fabulous; we'd love to try them all! The place is in a secluded area with limited indoor parking, but there's outdoor seating in the summer. The decor is cute, like street food.

12/06/2025: We have often taken pizza home, the service is impeccable, they respect the times in a Swiss way, no pizzeria manages to respect the times, even on Friday and Saturday. The pizza is good, the environment is clean. The lady who takes telephone orders is very kind. What is fantastic is that if you do home delivery you can also pay with the debit card.

13/04/2025: I've been to dinner in this place more than once, a very informal place, I was intrigued by its name kangaroo... that's what it's called... the food is excellent, the wood-fired oven, the pizza is delicious... but its secret and the 72 hour leavening are really excellent... the staff are friendly, kind and very polite... the service is impeccable... the cleanliness of the rooms and furnishings is done in an obsessive way... I highly recommend it... this I went back in the evening...the prices are accessible to everyone...the sooner we go back...

05/08/2025: We recently had the pleasure of photographing Anna and Hannos wedding at Barsentum, and it was truly unforgettable. As both professionals and guests, we were blown away by the beauty of the space — every corner is steeped in charm, history, and that effortless southern Italian elegance. The staff was warm, attentive, and made everyone feel at home while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. As photographers, we especially appreciated how coordinated and respectful they were — allowing the couple to fully enjoy the moment while still helping us capture the most important memories.

28/07/2025: We'd always dreamed of a traditional Apulian wedding and a masseria that retained its authentic, rustic feel. For Barsentum, it was love at first sight... The masseria immediately struck us with its many spaces (particularly the panoramic terrace overlooking the Itria Valley, where we had a welcome aperitif at sunset, and the agora, surrounded by trulli, where dinner was held, illuminated by a blanket of fairy lights that helped create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere). Not to be underestimated was the presence of a Plan B in case of inclement weather (outdoors but covered), equal to Plan A and even a Plan C (completely covered). Weeks later, our guests continue to express their appreciation for both the beautiful location and the delicious food. The chef, with great professionalism, was able to accommodate every need, even offering a buffet dedicated to guests with various dietary restrictions (celiacs, lactose intolerant, vegetarians, etc.). The only downside was the unavailability of the rooms within the masseria we had booked for our family, due to delays in the renovations. However, we must acknowledge the helpfulness of the owner, Leonardo, who, to compensate for this shortcoming, provided a shuttle service for their transfer to another property. His constant presence "behind the scenes," his commitment to caring for the masseria, and his attention to guests are among the property's strengths. A special thanks also goes to the manager, Vito, for his availability and patience in accommodating our every request, striving to instill in us the serenity needed to fully enjoy every moment of our big day. And so it was...it was the wedding of our dreams, in a dream location, and we couldn't have made a better choice.
