Very warm service and delicious food!

'What is beautiful is not beautiful, but what is liked is beautiful.' These are the words with which I would describe this small but welcoming trattoria near Gioia del Colle, a small village in the Pugliese Murgia. From the moment you enter you are literally transported by the experience of 'john', chef, pizza chef, waiter and so on and so forth. Start from the assumption that in there 'the customer must be transported, not ask for the menu'. Endless appetizers, some very good and others a little less, phantasmagorical orecchiette (which weren't so 'ette'), endless pizzas (warn him to stop at a certain one because he becomes a tireless kneading machine). He didn't have sorbet, but he warmed our hearts with a tiramisu revisited by him (so revisited that it only bore the name tiramisu) and a grappa to take your breath away. Thank you for this unique and wonderful experience. "Non è bello ciò che è bello, ma è bello ciò che piace." Queste le parole con cui descriverei questa piccola ma accogliente trattoria nei pressi di Gioia del Colle, piccolo paesino della Murgia Pugliese. Dal momento in cui entri vieni letteralmente trasportato dall’esperienza di Vito, chef, pizzaiolo, cameriere e chi più ne ha, più ne metta. Non chiedere il menù, non servirà, Lui sa già cosa vuoi. (Meglio specificare eventuali allergie o intolleranze). Antipasti infiniti, alcuni buonissimi e altri un po’ meno, orecchiette giganti fantasmagoriche, pizze infinite. (Fermalo quando sei sazio perché diventa una macchina impastatrice instancabile). Il sorbetto al limone non lo aveva, ma ci ha riscaldato il cuore con un tiramisù rivisitato da lui (così rivisitato che di tiramisù portava solo il nome) e una grappa da lasciare senza fiato. Grazie per questa singolare e meravigliosa esperienza, speriamo di tornare presto. "Infine, in questo luogo dove il cibo diventa poesia e l'ospitalità un abbraccio, ho capito che la vera ricchezza è nel cuore generoso di chi con passione trasforma ogni pasto in un momento indimenticabile." Cozy and warm environment (there is a small fireplace-type stove), the staff is super friendly, the prices are fair and the food is excellent. We only ordered 2 pizzas, really delicious and full of seasonings despite being very simple. There are also enough vegetarian dishes.

Super consigliato! Abbiamo fatto una piccola sosta viaggio con i bambini, siamo stati accolti con calore e abbiamo mangiato tanto e benissimo!!!

Veramente tutto ottimo e ingredienti più freschi dei freschi. Bravissimi ottima cucina come state a casa!!!
