27/10/2024: Our experience starts like this: - 2 vodka sours please. The waiter returned confused with a bottle of vodka saying that he only had that one 🤣🤣🤣 perhaps he expected to find a bottle in the bottle with the writing "vodka sour" and so we settled for Aperol spritz but really unbalanced... - mixed raw seafood. The fish was fresh but too cold from the refrigerator. We asked for some oil and we received disposable sachets of Biffi oil 😱 we are in Puglia, home of the best oil in the world! Noooooo it's not done 🤦🏻 - trio of tacos with raw salmon, tuna and swordfish. All seasoned in the same way with onion, pepper, soy, lots of cherry tomatoes which completely canceled out the flavor of the fish. We basically ate raw vegetable tacos 😅 - finally, fish balls. Nothing to complain about these, except that they were served with a tasty sauce in a paper coffee cup 😩 but how much can a nice little bowl from the Chinese cost and jaaaaa

21/11/2024: The Blumen pizzeria is an excellent option for those who want to eat pizza in San Giovanni Rotondo. The pizzeria is very old and very traditional, the prices are good, the service is also good. The menu features the most traditional flavors of Italy. The pizza has a thin, crispy edge and no edges. It's worth it!

05/11/2024: I can only review the restaurant as we were there for dinner only. I had seen a lot about this place in social media so at first I was sceptical as the instagrammable places usually end up being disappointing BUT Masseria Salamina absolutely met and exceeded all expectations! The pasta was done to perfection and the fish (according to my boyfriend) was perfectly tender. And of course how can I miss the stunning atmosphere in the courtyard- spectacular! We would love to come back and stay overnight!

01/11/2024: There really aren't enough words to describe how magical it is to spend time at Masseria Salamina. My husband and I got married here in September 2024 and it was truly a 10000/10 experience from start to finish. Incredible place and people, we have only wonderful things to say about the venue, owners Chiara/Filippo, and the entire staff. We stayed here in April 2024 as well just to see the venue and they treated us like family; our wedding guests echoed the same and many are eager to return. The food is phenomenal and perhaps even in the top five for all of Puglia. If you're looking for a vacation or wedding venue that's truly a jewel, this is it.

18/01/2025: Refined location, excellent food. The hot appetizers and the sea bream carpaccio with fried "heart" at the end... exquisite! Not to mention the wrong tiramisu: a journey of taste between mascarpone cream with chocolate flakes that melt on the palate, amaretti biscuits and hot coffee.

17/01/2025: We were the only ones at a table at this time while another pizza was packed, but we sat down anyway because we were craving a pizza. Order came quite quickly, and to our surprise it was quite delicious. We could ask the people anything and they were super friendly and helpful. After the pizza I had a dessert, semifreddo al torroncino and I can really recommend this to everyone, how tasty and oohh so delicious. All in all 5 stars, but it could have been ten.

25/11/2024: I absolutely cannot give more than 3 stars to this pizzeria. So let's start from the beginning: to order we called 3 different people who said yes, now I'll send my colleague and it took half an hour for the right one to stop by. Time of order 2 people at the table take the meat where they ask for bread or pizza a ciccio? This happens everywhere because bread is always brought with the meat and on the other hand it is said, listen, can you remove the vegetables and use baked potatoes as a side dish? And he replies yes yes now I'll write it in the notes then we order the pizzas and are asked for Neapolitan dough? Which we can say is fine. Well, they arrive as starters, bruschetta and breasts, nothing exceptional. Let's move on to the pizzas which were a punch in the stomach, the floury and heavy dough impossible to digest and the meat which we probably would have eaten better from the mc in addition to the fact that the request for potatoes was not respected. Which we tell the waiter who says now I'll ask, come back immediately and says look, we can't do anything to you, the potatoes would now take too long to cook after it took them a good 1 hour to bring us the dishes. Let's go further, the bill arrives and what do we see? For the famous ciccio 3€ added and for my pizza where I REMOVED the mozzarella but added the mushrooms 2€ more without even deducting anything for the mozzarella and then the raw meat wasn't even top-notch. I find it all very absurd. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of the receipt. But for sure I will neither return nor recommend it to anyone.

28/11/2024: I want to recommend this place for any event or quiet dinner, we wanted to try the place following the reviews and I can say that the food is really good, excellent quality raw materials, fantastic pizzas with a very long leavening, and then we get to the location which is truly characteristic and with an attentive taste in taking care of detail and cleanliness, then last but not least and the attention of the chef Stefano in always offering you the most right thing, I can only give five stars but only because it could not be put I highly recommend it.
