24/10/2025: Tourist trap. The waiter offers you a fresh fish, without announcing the price. So, 42 euros for a small fish for 2 people!!!! An oppressive waiter, clear your cutlery, you've barely finished!!!

09/09/2025: Enchanting place. Waking up in the morning to the sea view and falling asleep to the sound of it was wonderful 🤩😍🤩. The staff was incredibly kind. Always ready to accommodate every need of their guests. Aside from the small detail of the "American" bathroom (there's no bidet and the bathroom is very small), I spent a peaceful and relaxing week 😌 I'll definitely be back.

The name doesn't lie: the sea in front of the hotel is simply Caribbean. Crystal-clear waters and fine sand create a dreamlike setting that will leave you breathless. Being able to step onto the beach and immediately find yourself in this paradise is a true luxury. The hotel is a guarantee of cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are impeccable, welcoming, and tastefully furnished, perfect for relaxing after a day of sun and sea. 20/08/2025: I come to this pizzeria often and always have a great experience. The pizzas are delicious, with fresh ingredients and a light, non-heavy dough. The service is always friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for spending an evening with friends. One thing I really appreciated was that they always offered me a limoncello or an amaro at the end of my order, a sign of their attentiveness and kindness to their customers. One of the best pizzerias in the area, highly recommended!

15/09/2025: Everything was special, excellent service, the only flaw was that when they accepted our telephone reservation, they didn't ask us if it was okay to sit outside. So we found ourselves outside, which is excellently equipped, but for lunch, without even a ceiling fan or a floor fan, it was really tough. There's always room for improvement, and they're young, very active, and they certainly haven't noticed yet.

01/09/2025: We stopped at this hotel to break up our journey to Puglia. The staff were super friendly, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. The food was very home-style, without too many frills, and the food was decent. The double room cost €80.

03/08/2025: We went for lunch and it was a wonderful discovery. Good food, friendly service, and impeccable attention to detail for those like me who are gluten intolerant. An experience to repeat.

13/09/2025: I strongly advise against this place. I felt ill immediately during my meal and had to leave the room. The most shocking thing was the staff's complete lack of professionalism and sensitivity: they downplayed the incident and, when I simply wanted to leave for peace, they continued to detain me with their excuses. This isn't just a negative review, but a warning about a service that doesn't respect the needs and wishes of its customers. There are lines that should never be crossed, and their behavior crossed them all.

02/09/2025: I always order takeout; the service is fast and accurate, as well as very convenient via WhatsApp. Overall, the quality and price are excellent, although obviously there are ups and downs, as with all AYCE restaurants.

Retrogusto lives up to the highest standards of Italian charme and hospitality. A tucked away corner popping up unexpectedly from the cobblestone streets connecting important sites of Brindisi's old town (you just can't miss the nearby archeological museum Francesco Ribezzo, outstanding yet virtually unkown), this place will surprise you with its quaint atmosphere, welcoming vibe and courteous professionalism. The staff is very kind, competent and warm, making you feel at home all along, while preparing the top cocktails in the process! Make it a must stop in Brindisi 💗
