21/06/2025: We trusted the reviews and left, an hour's drive but on vacation it's a walk that you gladly do, we arrived at 8:40 pm, there was no one, we went in timidly if we could eat...... Giuseppe made us sit down and from then on everything met all our expectations. Simple climate, welcoming clean and friendly, abundant and delicious food, both the appetizer and the meat and then the bill...... The 2 of us spent less than what we spent per person in other places in slightly more commercial areas... I usually don't leave reviews but Carpino, from Terra Nostra Giuseppe and crew really deserved it. Yesterday we met you, when we return to Gargano you will be a fixed stop and to be repeated even on the same vacation.

19/09/2024: Premetto che da fuori non è molto intuibile capire cosa si troverà all'interno e i posti a sedere sono 4 o 5 tavolini. Dopo di ché devo dire che è stato molto piacevole degustare degli spaghetti all'assassina e patate riso e cozze fatte alla perfezione. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono. È possibile acquistare una ottima focaccia barese diversi appetitosi primi secondi e contorni, dolci ed ovviamente il pane di Altamura. È un punto strategico dove passare una tranquilla pausa pranzo e poi ritornare nel centro storico del paese. Complimenti allo staff sempre disponibile e cordiale. Ci ritornerò volentieri. Do 4 stelle solo per lo spazio limitato all'interno ma tutto il resto è da 5 stelle.

03/06/2025: Se pur senza prenotazione ottima serata. Dall' accoglienza al servizio, dal menu ai piatti degustati. Assolutamente da provare il baccalà con una copertura di patate croccanti, una scoperta.

29/05/2025: como que defraudado. No tenían tres cosas del menú, lo cual era un fastidio. Cara a cara: la “ricotta forte” huele muy fuerte —como, grosero límite— pero sabe bien. El entrante frito sabía a congelado. Sólo algo de lo que tener en cuenta.

15/05/2025: I have eaten badly in my life, but never so badly that I left a €120(!) t-bone on my plate. Whoever cooked it was incompetent and had no respect for the diners or the food they were dealing with. Completely burned on the outside, with spots on the inside, served mangled to hide the crime by confusing it. The waiting staff is not far behind in terms of respect for the customer. I have to go around the tables, and not run away when you know your "cook" has made a mess. Mistakes can be remedied, they just hoped that everything would go well, that we would pay the bill and that it would end there. Honestly, look elsewhere. I am replying to the owner's response posted below, perhaps by points: 1) The cost of the steak alone was €119 (there were 3 of us), while the total bill was €195, probably there was some confusion between the tables 2) We asked for the steak rare, all 3 of us (the confusion continues, but that's normal) 3) Also because of the confusion, we left about two thirds of the steak and had it put in a doggy bag, the dog seemed to like it 4) If a T-bone is served, I am used to seeing it reassembled on the cutting board (or serving plate) not cut and thrown in a jumble. I am sure that the "cook" is also used to doing this, but if he doesn't, there are obvious problems. 5) we didn't point anything out, just because we didn't want to "ruin the evening", which was still a nice reunion 6) if a waiter/waitress comes and you point out that you were "disgusted by everything else" (exact words) which is why you didn't have dessert, you have two options. The first is to ask the reason, the second is to tell someone who should come and ask the reason. Neither of these two approaches was used. So, I ask you, in the utmost cordiality, do you still think I was bad? I assure you that I wasn't, if I had been I would have commented elsewhere. I wasn't even unobjective, maybe it's just a mix-up. Maybe on this new basis you could ask your staff to be objective. I'm sorry, everyone works and I respect everyone's work, if it is done with quality and attention to the customer and, in the case of a restaurant, to the raw materials, especially when they look like they are excellent.

06/06/2025: No, dico: quella degli arancini e delle arancine non è una ricetta semplice nè rapida. Occorre seguire una certa procedura e scegliere bene gli ingredienti, e pochi lo sanno fare veramente bene. Ecco, mi sembrava di aver trovato il posto giusto, ma l'assaggio è stato una grande delusione, e non perchè gli arancini fossero fatti male, tutt'altro: ciò che li ha rovinati - e vanificato gli sforzi del cuoco - è stata la frittura in un olio vecchio, esausto, che sembrava essere stato usato da generazioni. Gli arancini erano immangiabili. Ma è possibile che nessuno se ne accorga?

24/05/2025: Servizio indecente, pizze ordinate alle 23:00 , alle 00:30 le pizze ancora dovevano arrivare nonostante i continui solleciti. Personale e servizio scortese e maleducato pretendendo anche di avere ragione. Assolutamente sconsigliata inoltre abbiamo pagato l’intero importo(pizze e escluse) senza nemmeno ricevere sconti o altro per le prese in giro subite. Se cercate pizzeria a Corato non andate assolutamente al chiodo fisso. ORRIBILE. Inoltre prezzi alti per porzioni piccole.
