18/05/2025: We ordered 11 pizzas and it was a lousy evening, waiting more than an hour and a half, seafood pizza and fish seasoned with vinegar as was the ortolana pizza, cooked raw. Terrible service. Avoid!!!!!!!

31/05/2025: Abbiamo chiamato poco prima e hanno trovato modo di accogliere la nostra prenotazione.Cibo ottimo (io seppia in crosta con zucchine)e mio marito una buona tagliata con patate al forno e fritte e della buona verdura ripassata (tutto caldo). In più,avendo versato dell'acqua sulla tovaglia, subito hanno provveduto.Accompagnando il tutto con un sorriso Andateci ❤️

24/05/2025: We were disappointed by the welcome that started from the owner who announced more than 1 hour of waiting at the table (where you pay the cover charge), while then the take-away was very fast, (we understood that they give priority to take-away) apart from the prolonged wait not justified by too many people, the pizza for everyone arrived half burnt overcooked dry, in addition to the delay, the mozzarella could not be seen from how long it was cooked, we will definitely not return again.

26/04/2025: Definitely worth a try! I was a bit pressed for time when I came here, so I only ordered snacks that can be taken away. There was a long queue at the scene. After eating, I finally understood why, it was really delicious😋

18/06/2025: After a little tour as tourists with my husband and our little girl, we entered this café, at the invitation of the waiter we chose to sit in the internal room, not very big, but equipped with air conditioning, a real relief given the heat of the day. We had the pasticciotto with cream and cold Lecce coffee with almond milk. The pasticciotto was delicious! Fast service Very nice and super kind waiter! I highly recommend it!!!

13/06/2025: I had the pleasure of stopping at Caffè Alvino during a visit to Lecce, and I can confirm that it deserves the fame that precedes it. The rustico leccese here is simply impeccable: fragrant and light pastry, creamy filling of béchamel, mozzarella and tomato, with that touch of pepper that makes the difference. At only €2.50, it is one of the most satisfying street foods in the city. Even the dessert has its space: I tried a pasticciotto with cream and black cherry, really well made, with a crunchy shell and a generous filling. The caffè leccese, with almond milk and ice, was the icing on the cake on a hot day. The place is in a spectacular location, overlooking the Roman amphitheater and Piazza Sant’Oronzo. Elegant and well-kept interiors, but also the outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the city. The service was friendly, even if at peak times it can be a little slow. Overall, an essential stop for those who want to enjoy Lecce through its most authentic flavors.

01/05/2025: We went today for the first time, apart from the wait for the table, ok... okay... we were in disbelief for a moment at what was happening between the kitchen and the dining room, we thought it was a folkloristic way, also given the name of the place.... instead the cook was serious, even if she apologized, anyway we had lunch quickly in a hostile climate, I can't judge the food because the work was a victim of the tension of the moment, served roughly, reheated a dish taken from counter, obviously paid for just done....sorry, but next time I will avoid Piazza Teatro, in fact we perhaps recommend making today at least a format for this activity...thanks anyway for having us

03/06/2025: Cozy restaurant divided into different areas in the central area. Good typical dishes with a good quality-price ratio. I thank the guys Alessandro, Roberta and Francesca "la rossa" for their professionalism. Their advice in choosing the dishes was perfect. I recommend it. Better to book.

02/06/2025: We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and had lunch with particularly refined dishes and we were pampered by the service in the room with helpful and always courteous waiters. Everything was very good!

02/06/2025: The real pizza in the Molfetta style, the one that for those who live far away is one of the reasons to return to Molfetta. The goodness of the pizza is second only to the friendliness and courtesy of the owners. Even the tables for those who want to eat it on the spot, are real tables with real chairs and allow you to enjoy the pizza and beer in the grace of God.

02/06/2025: Panzerotto cooked in a wood oven very good. Pizza margherita very good. Everything very digestible. Simple place, easy going. Ate on the spot. I will be back!
