08/04/2025: Top restaurant, good food, friendly service and at a price that we don't offer. And if I'm not mistaken, in a small palazzo!

29/03/2025: So bad experience. We never go again. Servis so bad and they do not what they are doing. We order a spesial dish and then they bring us so differ things.

20/03/2025: Today was a day with a golden edge. I got the chance to make cheese with Gretha and her mother Luisa. Fresh natural cheese, cheese with salt and also ricotta. The whole process was a lot of fun, thanks to the open and friendly attitude of mother and daughter. Afterwards I was also served an extensive cheese tasting with wine and two desserts. I received the homemade cheese neatly packaged Not only did the two super hospitable ladies provide me with a wonderful morning, but the entire environment in which it took place was fantastic. I was given a tour of their 17th century palace. From the basement with a kind of natural swimming pool, to the roof terrace where the restaurant with 130 seats is located in the summer. The family also has a farm, so the products are used directly in the restaurant. What really struck me was the hospitable, open and pleasant reception. Fortunately, I can go again on Sunday, this time to make pasta with the family's grandmother. Thank you! If you have the time and opportunity: Do this workshop, highly recommended!!

26/01/2025: We had an unforgettable cooking class with Nonna and Greta, and we highly recommend it! The experience was interactive, educational, and so much fun. We spent an incredible time laughing, learning, and sharing moments with these wonderful people. After the class, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner made entirely by us—two types of fresh pasta crafted with local, zero-kilometer ingredients. It was incredible to learn that they personally grow or produce everything they serve, from olive oil to bread and cheese. To top it off, they gave us a tour of the stunning estate, including the beautiful rooms and the fascinating history of the place. It was truly amazing, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise—just go and experience it for yourself! Our only regret? Not staying longer. But we’ll definitely be back! 29/09/2024: We come to Vieste every year to spend our holidays and since the first time we ate at carpe diem we have never stopped coming, truly excellent I recommend it, polite and qualified staff, excellent and fresh products that fill you up as best as possible.

28/12/2024: Certezza sulla professionalità, cortesia ; in primis qualità dei prodotti elaborati con un equilibrio sensoriale dallo chef Ivano Scarlato . Certezza di fare bella figura se si hanno ospiti . Personalmente ho sempre scelto menù pesce ; ottima carta dei vini ed acqua minerale servita in bottiglie di vetro sigillate . Il personale di servizio è cordiale . Il locale risponde ottimamente ai requisiti di igiene . Il prezzo è adeguato alla qualità.

Very good starters and main courses, the first courses leave something to be desired, in particular the spaghetti with clams which had no particular flavour, and the spaghetti with sea urchins, which were bland. I would say the service was impromptu and unprofessional, the waiters could also avoid being seen while smoking. for the price paid, more attention should be paid to these details

28/03/2025: A few days ago I had dinner in this restaurant/pizzeria and I received a nice welcome from the dining room staff. I liked the place, even if it was very noisy even though it was during the week. Quality food, but I find little attention paid to the plating, as I believe that the eye always wants its part. The dining room manager, attentive and prepared for every type of request and capable of advising on quantities and combinations. You will see me again very soon.

23/03/2025: Quick and excellent service. Even though we went on a Saturday night with the place full, the service was fast and efficient. Appetizers and gourmet pizzas top marks. I will definitely be back!

29/04/2025: At first glance, a well-kept restaurant, I am referring to the internal room, the risotto with scampi was tasteless and the cream covered the taste of the fish. The two things No, the waiter took some ice cubes from the bottle holder to put it in an aperitif, and when uncorking the sparkling wine it is not necessary to make a splash.
