02/05/2025: A very nice farmhouse, completely surrounded by greenery, far from traffic and city chaos and very well looked after. There are around fifty seats, in my opinion synonymous with respect and attention towards the customer. The cuisine is typical local, the (local) products fresh and genuine, which tell the story and tradition of this place and of the owners, who are very welcoming, kind and helpful. The staff is young and dynamic. Really good, everyone. Here you can breathe the scent of times gone by and when you taste the dishes, you can't help but think of our beautiful land and your roots. We had a really good time. Highly recommended! See you soon

06/06/2025: Delicious wood-fired pizza and a large mixed appetizer salad for €13. Beware: the pizzas are topped with a lot of cheese, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. Otherwise, they're nice and thin and crispy.

24/05/2025: Come to this place. We almost skipped it because the Google Review was 4.0 when we were here, but that was due to very poor ratings about a year prior. The owners must have listened because the service is now very good, prompt, courteous, and our food was top notch. We ordered the Nbr 5 pizza, the grilled cheese, and americanos for lunch. We hope to be back here some day.

23/05/2025: This is the best bar I’ve been in for many years. Luigi is a fantastic host and along with his father he has created a welcoming and atmospheric experience. Great playlists, enormous wine selection and fresh tasty food. Went in everyday on a long weekend trip and I can’t wait to return.

11/09/2024: Takeaway lunch here in September. Exceptional quality, slightly limited variety in the period, but certainly at full capacity in July and August, it will be able to satisfy all palates. Clearly artisanal and freshly prepared, you won't be disappointed! An inevitable stop if you are in Gallipoli.

10/06/2025: Visitado sobre la base de algunas buenas críticas y no decepcionado. Preciosa decoración y un gran lugar para visitar en un día caluroso. Nuestro anfitrión nos hizo sentir cómodo y tiene buen inglés. Teníamos un crostini súper cursi para empezar y ensaladas para seguir. La mejor comida hasta ahora.

31/05/2025: Deliciosa comida y vino, personal amable. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Teníamos un aperitivo de pulpo en puré de judías, mucho para compartir. Los platos principales eran imaginativos y bien preparados. El vino blanco local también era muy bueno. Era la primera vez que lo veía en un menú desde que estaba en la zona.

09/06/2025: Overall, everything was great. The food was very good. The welcome from the kitchen was amazing. A truly beautiful view. Giuseppe provided excellent service and was also very entertaining. Thank you very much. Just two small comments for the restaurant: 1. The red wine was too warm. Giuseppe immediately made sure the glass was chilled, which helped a lot. But in a restaurant in this price range, I would expect the wines to be kept in a wine cooler and thus at the optimal temperature. 2. The linguine all astice for the main course got cold relatively quickly. It was probably due to the wind, among other things. Preheating the plates could have helped somewhat.

09/06/2025: Wednesday we had the absolut pleasure of celebrating both our bithdays as well as out engagement at Saleblu near monopoli in puglia. It has been quite some time since I had been at a restaurant with such a high level of culinary skills, service level and attentiveness to their guests. From the security staff at the parking lot that greeted us by name, to the waiters and bartenders that always made sure our glasses where full, and explained the food, how it was made and its origins. We chose the tasting menu and got the pleasure of experiencing both fried pasta with yuzu mayonnaise, their signature octopus, tomato ice cream, and cucumber sorbet with peas and much much more. All of the courses had a high level of creativity and love for the ingredients. We drove about 30 minutes from our location in Torre Santa Sabina and would do it again any giving day. Next time we are in puglia you will find us at Saleblu looking out on the ocean with a glass of perfectly selected wine as well as some more amazing foods! If you are in puglia - it doesn’t matter where, and you love good food, book a table at Saleblu and experience this amazing restaurant for your self ❤️

15/06/2025: As for the food, nothing negative, in fact it is more than good. The quality-price ratio is correct. The staff is polite and also friendly. The place is well-kept but it is a little small compared to the turnout and this also affects the chaos generated. Recommended. I went back a few days ago. Unfortunately my opinion is worse. Chaos at the entrance even for those who booked. Quite a long wait for the table. Very sore points are the quantity and quality of the food. In particular, a meat dish, mixed grill, for a good 36 euros was only full of vegetables and peppers obviously raw, hung steamed, meat scarce and not cooked as requested and many, too many, potatoes. No comment. The hamburgers nothing special. Overall the quality-price ratio is negative. I probably won't go back again. Too bad.

13/06/2025: A delight for the palate and also for the eyes. A varied and super tasty appetizer to then finish with pasta with sea urchins, the pure freshness of the sea. Beautiful location with a view of the sea and the marina. Absolutely to return to try a nice second course.

19/09/2024: Le mie aspettative per la nostra cena da Cosimo Russo erano molto alte, e questo ha reso ancora più spiacevoli tutti i numerosi inconvenienti che abbiamo dovuto patire. Gli interni del locale sono molto belli, semplici ma curati con gusto, e tutto è pulito in maniera perfetta. La ragazza che, tutta da sola, gestisce la sala è un solido esempio di professionalità e competenza, ed è stato un tale piacere avere a che fare con lei durante la nostra cena che ho deciso di assegnare un punto in più alla mia recensione solo per questo motivo. I problemi, infatti, sono iniziati già al momento di prendere la comanda: eravamo un tavolo da otto persone (di cui due bambini), e cinque di noi hanno ordinato un antipasto seguito da un'altra portata, mentre un commensale ha scelto il risotto seguito dal petto d'anatra. Ci è stato comunicato che sarebbero stati serviti gli antipasti, mentre il commensale in attesa del risotto avrebbe ricevuto semplicemente un piatto vuoto; poi tutti quanti avrebbero avuto la portata scelta e contestualmente finalmente sarebbe arrivato anche il risotto per il commensale ancora a digiuno, che poi avrebbe mangiato l'anatra a seguire, mentre tutte quante le altre persone del tavolo erano in attesa del dessert... Una scelta folle, estremamente irrispettosa nei confronti del cliente, timidamente giustificata dal fatto che lo Chef non volesse preparare due volte lo stesso risotto per lo stesso tavolo in due momenti diversi. Una risposta che francamente non è accettabile, e che ha rovinato più di un umore al tavolo. Come se tutto questo non bastasse, e nonostante il fatto che in quel momento fossimo le uniche persone presenti nel ristorante, abbiamo atteso per ben 45 minuti prima di ricevere il famoso "benvenuto dello Chef"... Benvenuto che consisteva in: una sfoglia con melanzana e polvere di pomodoro (niente di speciale); un'interpretazione di oliva all'ascolana con ripieno di battuta di Fassona (e per questo motivo sgradevolmente fredda); un'ottimo cracker con cipolla rossa; ed una strepitosa chip di patata con insalata ed una cozza marinata nella scapece. L'attesa, francamente, non ne è valsa la pena. Illusi che finalmente la cucina si fosse messa in moto, ci siamo dovuti prontamente ricredere quando un'altra abbondante mezz'ora è trascorsa prima di ricevere i nostri antipasti. Io ho scelto l' "Insieme di Patate e Porcini della Sila alla genovese". Una preparazione che ho trovato davvero ottima, anche se nel piatto erano presenti alcuni ingredienti, in primis i pomodori, che sul menù non erano elencati! Si tratta di un fatto gravissimo, e che specialmente in un locale di questo livello non dovrebbe mai accadere. Anche nella portata principale (anche qui attesa per oltre 30 minuti dalla fine dell'antipasto!), che nel mio caso era il petto d'anatra, non sono mancate le sorprese, nel senso di altri ingredienti presenti nel piatto ma non segnati sul menù, che recita solamente: "petto d'anatra, cicoria, amarene". Considerando anche la cottura della carne sbagliata, perchè eccessiva, è stato davvero un piatto da dimenticare. Ulteriore, lunghissima, insopportabile attesa per l'altro petto d'anatra (questa volta almeno cotto come si deve) e poi per i dolci (che non ho voluto assaggiare, anche a causa della tanta stanchezza accumulata). Ci siamo seduti a tavola alle 19:55, e siamo riusciti finalmente a pagare il conto alle 23:15. Una durata così per una semplice cena, più che ingiustificata è proprio mortificante, tanto da togliere qualsiasi desiderio di rimettere piede nel locale. Il conto è stato di oltre 70€ a testa (con una sola bottiglia di vino), ed a parte qualche minimo accenno da parte della Responsabile di Sala a dei generici problemi in cucina, non abbiamo ricevuto tangibili dimostrazioni di scuse, né da parte dello Chef, né in altre forme: non è stato offerto nemmeno un caffè. Se sono sufficienti sei persone che ordinano alla carta per mettere in crisi Chef e brigata, allora sarebbe bene limitarsi esclusivamente ai menù degustazione, in modo da evitare ulteriori simili figuracce in futuro.
