23/04/2026: Authentic Neapolitan pizza, just the way I like it. A high crust and excellent ingredients. Helpful and friendly staff. Limited seating, so reservations are recommended.

17/04/2026: Let's forget it.... Nice atmosphere, but the pizza is a brick, and the sauce is sour... no thanks. It's a shame because I love Neapolitan pizza.

22/12/2025: A very beautiful and characteristic historic location—a castle, in short—located in a rural and remote area, not easy to reach via winding, unlit provincial roads. It's in the Salice Salentino countryside, bordering the province of Brindisi, surrounded by vast, diversely cultivated rural land. I was there only because I was invited to a wedding reception with about 200 guests. Unfortunately, the venue suffers from the unique infrastructure of a castle, so the large number of guests didn't allow for optimal management, in my opinion, and I wasn't satisfied. The central space for dancing was also insufficient. The food served was excellent, as was the overall service provided by the staff. Aside from the initial buffet of meat and seafood appetizers, I didn't appreciate the fact that for the final buffet of fruit, desserts, and cake, the guests had to leave their tables at 9 pm, grab their coats, and stay outside in the garden to catch the cold for the cake cutting, before moving on to other areas. This was my only experience at this venue.

15/12/2025: Speechless, the energy this place exudes is magical, enchanting, and meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. The welcome makes you feel special, and the cuisine is gastronomically satisfying. I hope to return. The driveway leading to the castle alone is breathtaking, with hectares of vineyards.

22/03/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, with a selection of top-quality ingredients, especially the seafood, which is always incredibly fresh. Traditional dishes are creatively reinterpreted with a modern twist, while maintaining authenticity and flavor. The chef demonstrates great talent and attention to detail, while the staff is friendly, professional, and always available. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. Il Posticino is a true guarantee.

02/02/2026: A pleasant surprise! We were lucky enough to find a table on a Sunday by calling that morning, and without much notice, the lady managed to prepare a menu with truly excellent gluten-free options! Fritters, focaccia, fried eggplant rolls, and even the ricotta dessert to finish—all the same as the standard menu, but gluten-free! Absolutely wonderful! We'll definitely be back.

17/05/2026: Simply a wonderful place!!! We were going from Rome to Bari and stopped at this restaurant for lunch and it was amazing… The food was wonderful, everything was very well prepared, generously served, and affordable. They have a set menu option or à la carte… We were very well attended to by the Italian-Brazilian Diego, who was very friendly and polite. He explained the menu to us very well!

06/04/2026: We went for dinner on Easter Monday. The menu was excellent, the service excellent, and the value for money was good. It deserves more opportunities.

30/05/2026: A wonderful evening in the company of the right people. I ate wonderfully, but that's been a known fact for a lifetime. Thank you for the attention you paid to our table. The staff were qualified, polite, and helpful, which isn't always a given in our area. Recommended.

17/05/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. For the price, everything was extremely poor and not even remotely in line with the final bill of €255, a truly exaggerated amount for the quality and quantity offered. The appetizers were very small in portions despite assurances to the contrary, and the mixed roast was nothing special and the meat didn't convince us. The service also seemed disorganized and rather forced. It was also unfortunate to find a hair in one of the dishes, an incident that negatively impacted the overall experience. The only real positive note of the evening were the desserts, freshly prepared and truly delicious.

12/12/2025: Lunch at of my favorite restaurants in Gravina, Osteria Radici, built into a cave on the road to the ravine and the aqueduct bridge Their focus is on traditional Gravinese food made with local ingredients. We started with their fried zucchini with mint and the bruschetta with a peperoni preserve and pallone di Gravina cheese. For mains, we had the spicy assassins’s pasta and the braciole di cavallo, along with wine from Radici’s vineyard (a blend of Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and Montepulciano). For dessert, sporcamuss, crispy puff pastry filled with custard. Service is excellent and the restaurant is beautifully appointed, especially during the holidays! A wonderful “last supper” on our Pugliese tour!

22/10/2025: Excellent choice in San Cesario de Lecce. We ordered some fries and the burrata, mortadella, and pistachio pizza, and it was a delicacy. Very attentive and friendly. We ate there; there are two small tables outside. Many people came to place their orders. We would eat here again.

27/09/2025: A wonderful little place in a small Italian town! We had dinner here several times and tried different pizzas each time – one with traditional dough and one gluten-free. Both were amazing, and the gluten-free pizza was by far the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The staff were incredibly kind, we always got a table on the patio, and the owner was genuinely delighted to welcome visitors from Poland. Each time we were treated to limoncello and grappa, which made us feel truly special. Nowhere else in Italy have we experienced such warm hospitality. Highly recommended – and if we return to Puglia, we’ll definitely come back!

13/01/2026: Average quality food, varied appetizers, ranging from meat to fish, losing their identity, good service, poorly heated environment, a bit cold; opaque price... 30 euros for a dinner consisting of an appetizer and two main courses for 5 people is inexcusable (fried fish, soft and moist with rubbery calamari and a few small fish; 300g sliced ​​steak, slick/burnt on the outside and medium cooked, with the center being dark). Too many different things, done in a questionable manner.

17/03/2026: I happened to stop at this bar in the square, in the historic center of Monteparano, and the experience was truly positive. The atmosphere is clean, quiet, and well-kept—one of those places where you're happy to sit and immediately feel at ease. The products are very good, with a wide selection to satisfy a variety of tastes, from breakfast to aperitifs. The staff is a real strength: friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and always available. Even with several customers, the service remains efficient and organized. I stopped in for breakfast, but it's clear that the place is also very popular for aperitifs and social gatherings throughout the day. I know the owners, and it's fair to say so, but that doesn't change my opinion: the quality is clearly visible and perceptible. If you're passing through Monteparano, it's definitely a recommended stop. A bar that stands out and is one of the best spots in town.
