Exceptional local experience! No fuss but excellent home made food , very tasty, good price and very good cocktails ! We highly recommend. This place doesnt look much and you think is a shop but the food and drinks experiencr is awnsome!

A beautiful corner of Bari, very helpful and friendly people. Beer at 660ml very cheap, good food (I recommend cozze con riso e patate).

What can I say... Vincenzo (the owner) and his wonderful family are a guarantee of the quality of good Bari food... Bari specialties and traditions cooked every day with love by Grazia (Vincenzo's wife) Rice, potatoes, and mussels, braciole, and parmigiana to die for... a blast from the past, as if you were at your grandparents' house ❤️ Top taralli and olives, fresh drinks, and local products at great prices!!! The whole family is efficient in table service; courtesy, kindness, and honesty are qualities few business owners possess, and the L'ALLEGREZZA FAMILY HAS IT ALL 💯💯💯🎆🎆🎆

When visiting Italy you want to experience home grown food local to the environment and feel the family vibe. This place was one of our favorites we had to go to twice! Their meet ball or braciola meat chop was nothing short of amazing! Nonas cooking paid off. The eggplant parm was great too! This is as local and family as you get! Their large wine pour doesn’t hurt! Would highly suggest visiting!

Very small no-frills cafe on the old city. Really nice place to sit and relax in the shade and people-watch. Prices are more than fair, and the staff was attentive. Really enjoyed just existing and sipping some chilled wine here on a hot afternoon.

24/11/2025: As always, everything was excellent quality, with the freshest fish and the option of meat dishes for those who don't eat fish. Excellent wines. The appetizers even included excellent sushi. The cake was exquisite. They even allowed our little furry friend to come in. The staff was impeccable, always available, courteous, and attentive to our every request. They fulfilled all my wishes and those of our fellow diners. The restaurant was perfectly air-conditioned, with spotless restrooms and plenty of space between tables. The tablecloths were pristine white and the dishes spotlessly clean. No need to worry about leaving; I'll be back many times because Donato and his staff NEVER disappoint. Amazing price!

16/03/2026: Simple and functional atmosphere with very friendly service. The food is very good and tasty.
02/02/2026: A pleasant surprise! We were lucky enough to find a table on a Sunday by calling that morning, and without much notice, the lady managed to prepare a menu with truly excellent gluten-free options! Fritters, focaccia, fried eggplant rolls, and even the ricotta dessert to finish—all the same as the standard menu, but gluten-free! Absolutely wonderful! We'll definitely be back.
