23/04/2026: Il Rustico is always a guaranteed place, where once a year a group of colleagues and I travel from Milan for lunch. The family-run restaurant, with its typically 1980s decor, serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, dominated by Her Majesty the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection by Chef Cesare, expertly assisted by his wife, who manages the dining room with punctuality and discretion. After the meal, in addition to their homemade desserts, I recommend a stroll through the charming village. The quality/price ratio is excellent, making it worth the trip.

11/06/2026: Slow and often get things wrong. I ask for a long coffee at the table, it comes out short. I go to the counter to ask for another long one, they give me a short one. The portions are ridiculous, the quality of the food is nothing special!

13/06/2026: High prices... nothing special... the little girl's pizza was ordered with just tomato sauce and nothing else. The tomato sauce was full of pepper and a few basil leaves... in fact, she left almost all of it... and when we went to pay, she asked if everything was okay... and after saying that the little girl's pizza had a lot of pepper and that she didn't eat practically anything... the girl, I think the owner, almost got offended, replying ignorantly... that they make tomato sauce like that, period... and for a bill of 53 euros, she didn't even bother to even 50 to show she was even slightly sorry for what happened... and anyway, it's very strange that in the other 3 pizzas the pepper wasn't tasted at all... so it was only put on the red pizza... but that's okay... at least we know where NOT to eat next time in Lorenzana. Thank you for your understanding... kindness, and see you NEVER again... again!!!!!!!!!

20/04/2026: terrible experience and service. I ordered a decaf coffee because I cannot have any caffeine. I asked the waitress two time specifically if it was decaf, he said it was…. and it was not decaf! I had a terrible reaction throwing up and ruined the rest of my day, just because they were careless… imagine if i were allergic… go to any of the other bars.

08/04/2026: Food to die for - which you might do getting there if you are not careful as the roads are incredibly steep and twisty. But make the effort as wonderful food, incredible views, lovely friendly staff, and very good value at €12 for the set menu (two courses wine and coffee!!!!)

02/06/2026: A beautiful place where we can eat pizza, fish, and meat. It's suitable for all tastes. We dined on the terrace veranda, which is very welcoming. Fast and impeccable service, attentive and friendly staff. We had very good gluten-free pizzas, with a soft dough, including the crust. I personally prefer a thin pizza, but it's still good. Excellent gluten-free draft beer. The restaurant is located on the first floor but accessible to all with an elevator. Dogs are welcome, and there's plenty of parking. Congratulations! Next time I want to try the fish because the aroma was amazing.

06/07/2026: A pizza that can only be described as "touristy": inflated prices, at the expense of (apparently) poor quality. The pizza is far from "good." It almost seems like the management's motto is "minimum expense, maximum return," taking full advantage of the strategic location and limited competition. If you want a good pizza, do yourself a favor: a 12-13 minute drive away is the pizzeria "Il Bruco": go there, for lower prices and a truly next-level pizza. I wouldn't go back.

05/07/2026: Too bad. Terrible service. Ordered takeout: 3 pizzas and 1 hamburger. At 7:15 PM, the pizzas came out and they forgot about the hamburger. They prepared it, and at 7:30 PM, when the hamburger was ready for them, the pizzas were hot. After fifteen minutes, however, the pizzas had gone cold. It doesn't work like that. A reputable place should have remade them. Terrible and unprofessional. Not recommended.
