29/12/2024: Old fashioned place, but truly wonderful, simple peasant cuisine, friendly and kind staff. good bruschetta which I know really tastes like garlic. carbonara as it used to be done without too many frills. but grandma's cutlet is truly fabulous. and it's so sweet it's amazing.

16/11/2024: Terrible. Absolutely terrible pizza. I honestly thought that they had a 'bad dough day', as I saw all the plates with unfinished pizzas go back to the kitchen, with the 'doggie bag' option requested (probably out of politeness or pity). But then looked at some of the pictures on google, and they all looked the same. The dough was dry, brittle and for the most part burnt. It had no taste. I am very surprised my the high rating of this place. I really hope they need to get their act together, because what I had tonight was a joke. Atmosphere, and service are ok, but I cannot give more than 1 star because the pizza was just embarrassing.

14/11/2024: I have been coming to Tuscany at least once a year since 1999. I have pizza here at least twice a visit. It's the best pizza I've ever eaten.

13/12/2024: A piece of Naples in the center of Florence. Here you eat real Neapolitan pizza with quality ingredients. The first courses are also excellent. We will be back to try the meat.

12/12/2024: Good restaurant, it looks touristy but the Neapolitan pizzas were delicious, highly recommended, and the price was not expensive. The worst thing is that we were a bit cold (we were there in December) in the living room.

10/12/2024: the best restaurant we could find around. warm welcoming with a glass of prosecco and dessert drinks. Staff was lovely, thanks Christian for making our night special with your recommendations for our visit in Florence. 5 starts are not enough to rate the place!

10/12/2024: The pizzas are very very very good, we ordered delivery through their application and they did not bring them to the campsite very well, we saw that through the Glovo app they also bring them for a 20% discount. We will take note for the next occasion.

22/12/2024: Booked a table, but to say that we unfortunately had a rather unpleasant experience is an understatement. There were a lot of us and, following the waiter's advice, we went on a pizza tour, still asking for simple pizzas that everyone could eat. They all brought particular pizzas with flavors that obviously not everyone liked, needless to say, most didn't eat. After 12 pizzas the waiter begins with "we have reached 23, shall we continue?". The waiter was also really rude, with a somewhat upset tone. Only 1 of cooked pizza and mushrooms because under request. Not a Margherita or devil or similar. The power inside was constantly going off, making the place very cold. The children (and adults) were shivering from the cold, making it necessary to eat with their jackets on. A rather bad experience that I don't recommend to anyone, a shame because the pinsa was good, the problem was all the surroundings.

14/12/2024: We stopped by chance for dinner on our way back from a trip and had a wonderful meal. Typical flavors of our cuisine at an honest price. We will definitely be back.

06/12/2024: Simple restaurant that offers a comfortable environment and excellent seafood and land cuisine. The fried artichokes are delicious and the desserts are made by a pastry chef. Good prices and with The Fork discount they become very competitive!

17/11/2024: The place is easily accessible and there is plenty of metered parking nearby. We even managed to park in front of the place. The place is very small and there are few seats inside. The bar-style entrance, with bottle caps attached, bottles of cut wine instead of chandeliers, Spino Fiorito glasses in their neck bags, hanging on the walls, etc. Not my kind of vibe. But the lights were not annoying and the few seats still guaranteed a certain tranquility and the possibility of conversing with people, which believe me, is no small feat. They greeted us from the kitchen and showed up at the table 15 minutes later. We ask for the menu. We didn't know there was a QR code to pick up, scan, and do the usual Chinese restaurant thing of checking the menu on a 5-inch screen. So after 15 minutes they give us a tile to scan, and another 10 minutes later, we order. Starter like fake cacciucco in the strudel: interesting idea, attempt to deconstruct the cacciucco which we found a little pretentious but above all, beyond the excellent flavour, the strudel dough had clearly been overcooked. Not burned, it was one step before burning. When the pasta dehydrates completely. Cutting it with the knife was not pleasant. Too bad, because the flavor of the fish sauce was delicious. Good starters, although I wouldn't call them plentiful. I didn't try a first course, but I had the pleasure of trying one of the mixed fried dishes which I would define, without fear of making mistakes, as one of the best I've ever eaten. Not oily, fried perfectly, light. However, the frying resembled a light, pale batter, tempura style. So I would have eaten a second tray no problem. I reckon it was honest. With a small discount, with coffee, dessert, white wine, and 4 people at the table, we spent €40. The figure is more realistic than those who say that the average is €25/30 per person, a more realistic figure if you exclude dessert and wine. Overall the experience was pleasant. The kitchen staff comes out every now and then to go around the tables and take orders, all in the family, kind of way. And this sometimes involves a few tens of minutes of waiting. I would go out more often, to check if anyone needs a waiter. For example, when it came time for the coffee, we had to wait almost another quarter of an hour to order it. Our attempt to get the attention of the staff from the kitchen was in vain, so we put our minds at rest and waited for them to come and ask us. One thing that everyone present at the table would have changed immediately is this: when a menu contains dishes ranging from €15 to €25, that menu must be made of paper. Readable. Clear. Great. There are also those with transparent sheets whose pages can be quickly replaced to accommodate menu changes. It's quicker to insert three A4 sheets into three menus than to modify everything via software, and in general I barely accept the menu on the smartphone in Chinese restaurants, where it really helps to get things done first. But it doesn't make any sense in a place with 20 seats in total.

29/12/2024: I'm still shocked that I came across such bad pasta because pasta is normally my favorite food. I sent one of the varieties back, I wanted it to be with cheese only but I couldn't even eat that. Never never never!

28/12/2024: Beautiful experience! A few minutes from the motorway exit, a refined, informal and welcoming restaurant, surrounded by greenery between the lake and the Barberino hills. Welcoming and expert staff. Excellent starters and Florentine steak, excellent prices, given the quality of the food and the location.
