22/02/2026: We went for lunch today and didn't know about the change in management. We've been going to this pizzeria regularly for a few years. The pizzas we ate were truly poor quality, and we were extremely disappointed. We'll never go there again.
The pizzas were also raw and inedible.
The place isn't as clean as it was under the old management.

18/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and immediately found the atmosphere very welcoming. Quality homemade food, excellent value. For lovers of thin pizza, this is the place to be. Impeccable service. Clean.
04/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Google recommendation. It's not a large but well-maintained restaurant, with outdoor seating in the center of town.
For starters, we had ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and a cream of truffle and porcini mushrooms, both delicious.
For main course, grilled chicken breast for two, with a side of lemon spinach and French fries.
For dessert, we had tiramisu (homemade) and caramel panna cotta, water, and a Coke.
Everything was truly well-cooked, combined with friendly and professional service, so there were no long waits despite the crowded restaurant. The bill, €50, proved to be a truly excellent value.
Highly recommended!

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday; there were nine of us, including my 15-month-old daughter. I'll start my review by saying that the food wasn't bad; the fish wasn't exceptional, but it was passable. Since it was Sunday, the place was packed—I think it was even over capacity—very noisy, and the crowds crowded together made the temperature very high and the air unbreathable. We asked to turn on the air conditioning (there was a split unit in the restaurant) but were told it wasn't possible. My daughter isn't used to such a noisy environment, so she wanted to stay outside the restaurant the entire time. The waiters were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I honestly wouldn't go back.

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here.
This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well.
I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types!
Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced.
Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: Good evening, negative personal experience. I must say first that I am Neapolitan, therefore accustomed to eating typical Campania products. The worst fried filling I have ever eaten was the unleavened dough, cooked incorrectly, the oil not at the right temperature, the filling was unbalanced, almost non-existent. The Margherita was the same, unleavened dough and the taste did not reflect the true Campania traditions, almost at the level of a frozen Cameo pizza. The cuoppo, for the excessive cost of 6 euros, had four seafood fritters and a mozzarella in carrozza. Disappointment, I had high expectations, I strongly advise against it!

14/01/2026: A very positive experience, my wife and I had lunch at my friend Zaid's, spaghetti alla carbonara, penne all'arrabbiata, as only he and I know how to make, 1 slice of beef with potatoes, water, wine, coffee, 2 Margherita pizzas, takeaway, €60. I forgot, between the three essences of delicious cabbage, we'll see each other soon.

25/01/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday and opted for the set menu, which included an appetizer, truffle agnolotti, mixed grill with roast potatoes, sliced beef, salad, desserts, liqueurs, and coffee. The food was excellent and plentiful, all for a reasonable price of €30, in my opinion. Everything was delicious. The place is reminiscent of old-fashioned trattorias from the 1980s, surrounded by greenery, with the option of dining outside in the summer, offering peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and fast. Recommended.
