03/10/2025: Perfect service, friendliness and cordiality

01/10/2025: Two of us arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The wait was two people, one very friendly, the other less so. The drinks came quickly, and we waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. The pizza didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the appetizer, which we really didn't expect, and our hunger grew accordingly. The pizza unfortunately had a bit too much cheese, but overall it was okay. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long, especially since the tables next door got their food much earlier.

31/12/2025: This restaurant and pizzeria is located right in the town center. Here you can enjoy pizza made with different types of flour. Don't expect Neapolitan pizza, because it won't be like that. Here you'll find a fine, delicious pizza made with top-quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable.

08/02/2026: I visited Il Pipistrello on Via Senese in Florence and I must say it was a real pleasure! The pizzeria offers a wide selection of all types of pizza, from classic to more creative and innovative. The pizza is cooked to perfection, with a light and digestible dough and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but that's because the place is always busy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quite fast. Excellent value for money. I recommend booking; there's a huge parking lot just steps away on an internal street.

31/12/2025: Eight of us went for dinner, and we didn't expect much and left pleasantly surprised and satisfied. The place is simple, a bar-pizzeria, but well-kept and clean. The service is managed by two very young people, kind, helpful, and professional. They're present but never intrusive. The cuisine offers a nice variety of dishes, especially first courses, all very good and "homemade," meaning carefully prepared. The appetizers are also delicious, and the desserts exquisite. The house-made fried fish and focaccia were very popular. The pizzas (which we didn't order, but looked at) also looked excellent. The price is absolutely fair and reasonable. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: The place is small but cozy. The girl serving us is really nice and very good. We were a table of ten and everyone was very satisfied. When it came time to pay, we chatted with the owner, who was also very kind, and we complimented her on the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: I spent Valentine's Day here. Everything started out fine. They seated us in the room with music, and after about ten minutes the appetizers arrived (we had the set menu): the dish was good, but the portions were really small. From then on, the evening almost turned into a nightmare. We waited an hour and a quarter for the first course. We could practically see the first courses being served all around us, but nothing for us. Once they arrived, we ate, and the same thing happened: the dish was good, but the portions were small (at least mine, since I had the fish menu). For the second course, needless to say, we waited another 40 minutes. While we waited, there had been some music playing (not themed, but disco house, which is something you don't expect on a Valentine's Day evening), but two gentlemen arrived and started singing and playing themselves with a microphone and guitar. Except the music was so loud, my head started pounding so hard I wanted to leave without finishing my meal. In fact, when the main course arrived, we ate (the food wasn't even good here) and my boyfriend tried to make the gesture to turn down the music, but he didn't pay attention to anyone. So, seeing me feeling really bad, he got up to find someone and ask for dessert to go. A very kind lady moved us to the next room (without the music, meaning we could hear it, but a little less) and we waited another 35 minutes for dessert. It was anything but a chocolate panna cotta. It was more like something whipped up on the spot and thrown on the plate. Of course, when it came time to pay, they didn't even make us wait a minute. It's a shame the menu wasn't worth the price at all. The waiters, all very kind, were constantly apologizing for the delays, both to us and to other people. It was supposed to be a Valentine's Day surprise from my boyfriend, but it was torture from start to finish. He himself apologized to me constantly because he didn't believe the evening would go that way, given that he'd been there before and had a great time. I'm sorry, but I'll never set foot in this place again. I left with a terrible headache, as well as being hungry.

15/02/2026: Il Pizzaiuolo pizzeria is without a doubt one of the best restaurants we tried during our stay. They simply had the best pizzas we ate in Florence: perfect dough, fresh and generous ingredients, impeccably cooked… a delight from start to finish! We also tried the seafood risotto, which was absolutely succulent, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. A true delight. For dessert, the tiramisu was fantastic, light and indulgent just the way we like it, and the Nutella panna cotta… pure bliss! The service was also top-notch: a very friendly, smiling, and attentive waitress. An address we wholeheartedly recommend! 🍕🇮🇹

01/02/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the new management of Cantinacce. It's located in an open countryside setting, where we enjoyed excellent traditional Tuscan dishes like peposo and gnudi, with truly fantastic service.

25/01/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday and opted for the set menu, which included an appetizer, truffle agnolotti, mixed grill with roast potatoes, sliced ​​beef, salad, desserts, liqueurs, and coffee. The food was excellent and plentiful, all for a reasonable price of €30, in my opinion. Everything was delicious. The place is reminiscent of old-fashioned trattorias from the 1980s, surrounded by greenery, with the option of dining outside in the summer, offering peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and fast. Recommended.
