08/04/2026: Amazing restaurant accredited by the Italian celiac association. They offer amazing gluten free pasta and are very knowledgeable about lactose free options as well. They also have a wide and tasty "regular" menu for those without food intolerances.

07/05/2026: We came to this restaurant without high expectations and were truly more than pleasantly surprised in every way. From the very first glance, it was clear how much effort and passion had gone into it. The ambiance is beautifully decorated, very cozy yet stylish, making you feel instantly at ease. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything just works so perfectly. For our starter, we shared the octopus salad. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and superbly prepared. You could immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients and place great emphasis on flavor. For our main courses, we had the gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce and the seafood spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The gnocchi were wonderfully soft, and the sauce was deliciously creamy with just the right amount of richness. The seafood spaghetti carbonara was simply incredible and definitely one of the best pasta dishes we've had in a long time. We would also like to give special mention to the service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You could really tell that they enjoyed their work and were dedicated to making the evening perfect for their guests. This positive atmosphere permeated the entire restaurant and made the visit even more special. All in all, it was a truly perfect evening. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything was just right. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. A well-deserved five stars! Grazie!

24/04/2026: Pizza/Puff pastry, cooked ham and fresh Champions as the waiter said, or rather shoulder and mushrooms from a jar 😱, sausage full of coloring and of terrible quality. I don't recommend it to anyone and we will never go back to try their WONDERFUL PIZZA!!!!!!😨🥶

02/05/2026: I'd noticed this restaurant thanks to the reviews, since they had gluten-free pici. Two of us go in, it's 9:30 PM sharp—it doesn't seem that late. We see there are several free tables, but the welcome is terrible; they send us away, saying they're closed. Can they close at 9:30? Rude as hell.

07/05/2026: Great restaurant, great food, and very friendly staff. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, so don't expect quick service as there are only 2-3 people working. We opted for the €15 set menu and were more than impressed with what we got for it. 🫶🏻

16/05/2026: Fine and not expensive The decor is pleasantly timeless, just like the menu. Authentic dishes. Wine by the bottle, lots of choice but a somewhat pricey selection, so I went for the cheaper house wine at €7 for half a liter. Was okay. Nice cured meats, cheese, and Crostini platter. Guinea fowl with patates al forno. Unfortunately, the sauce on the scallopina al vino Bianco seemed a bit of a failure. Watery and lacking in wine flavor. The desserts, however, were fine, especially crema catalana and cantucci with vin santo. Not a 5 because of that wine sauce before the food. It got quite busy with two larger groups. All in all, a pleasant place and adequate service.

06/04/2026: It's become a regular stop: every summer we come to Elba, we always return to eat at La Rustica, and today, for Easter Monday, we were delighted to return. Over the years, we've tried absolutely everything, and the quality has always remained high. The seafood first courses are excellent, flavorful, and well-seasoned, the fried fish is light and tasty, and overall, you can sense the attention to detail in the selection of ingredients. Personally, the pizza isn't the restaurant's strong point, but everything else more than makes up for it. The atmosphere is also pleasant and the service is friendly; you always feel at ease. It's one of those places you'll gladly return to because you know you'll eat well and have a wonderful evening. For us, it's become a tradition and will continue to be so. Highly recommended!

My pizza tonight was damned perfection: thin crust, but also thick for those who prefer it, crispy on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside. Every bite is an emotional journey: it makes you close your eyes, sigh with pleasure, and think, "This is why life is worth living." Top-notch ingredients, a wood-fired oven that adds that perfect smoky touch—standing ovations are in order! Yes, I've read (and shared) a few reviews complaining about the wait times, especially when it's busy (and it always is, because it's good!). But as a regular, I tell you: those 15-20 minutes are an absolute treat. You sit down, chat with friends or reflect on the day, savor the family atmosphere, and watch the pizza chefs at work with incredible dedication. They don't rush: they cook every pizza "to perfection," with obsessive care, because their true joy is seeing happy faces like mine at the end. It's pure satisfaction for the team—I can tell by the proud looks they give me every time they bring me a steaming plate. In a world of fast food, here the wait is the prelude to a genuine emotion. I'll be back soon, as always. If you're looking for pizza that excites, Cotta a Puntino is the place. Highly recommended for everyone!

26/04/2026: Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The kitchen offers a wide variety of dishes, some clearly better than others, but the pizza is definitely the highlight. Cooked in a wood-fired oven, it's not a bad thing. As for the service, it's neither bad nor perfect, but just right. The interior is spacious, and there's also a rooftop terrace for al fresco dining. The restaurant also offers an excellent online delivery service.
