07/04/2026: I recently visited Ristorante Pizzeria Tre Stelle, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food: Top notch! We were genuinely surprised by how flavorful and authentic the food was. The pizza had a perfectly crispy crust, and the pasta dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. You can really tell that love and care have been put into the dishes. The service: A pleasure in itself. The staff was incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and attentive – without being intrusive. We felt very welcome and even received great recommendations for both food and wine. All in all, well worth a visit – I will definitely be coming back and can warmly recommend Tre Stelle to anyone who appreciates good Italian food in cozy surroundings.

05/04/2026: We just finished Easter lunch at this "Tre Stelle" restaurant in Montepulciano. It might not look like much from the outside, but inside it was a truly wonderful discovery: the staff were very welcoming, the food delicious, and the portions generous. The interior is truly warm and charming. For us, it's a 5-star restaurant, not a 3-star.

10/04/2026: We spent a night at the restaurant and came with our camper through AgriCamper. Honestly, we were very happy with both the food and the service. Since we were traveling with our two-and-a-half-year-old baby, we really appreciated that they served her first. Contrary to what some Americans have mentioned here, for us that was great, especially since we didn’t even ask for it. It was truly wonderful and one of the highlights of our experience. The service was consistently excellent, and the food was delicious, extremely delicious. I highly recommend the pasta, especially the seafood spaghetti. I enjoyed every single bite. Bravo to the chef. Another thing we loved and highly recommend is ordering a local digestive at the end of the meal. We found out it’s made by the father of the owner or manager, who only speaks Italian. It’s definitely worth trying after dinner. It’s a shame we couldn’t buy a bottle since they only have large ones for the restaurant, but it was incredibly good. 100% recommended.

08/04/2026: Amazing restaurant accredited by the Italian celiac association. They offer amazing gluten free pasta and are very knowledgeable about lactose free options as well. They also have a wide and tasty "regular" menu for those without food intolerances.

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday; there were nine of us, including my 15-month-old daughter. I'll start my review by saying that the food wasn't bad; the fish wasn't exceptional, but it was passable. Since it was Sunday, the place was packed—I think it was even over capacity—very noisy, and the crowds crowded together made the temperature very high and the air unbreathable. We asked to turn on the air conditioning (there was a split unit in the restaurant) but were told it wasn't possible. My daughter isn't used to such a noisy environment, so she wanted to stay outside the restaurant the entire time. The waiters were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I honestly wouldn't go back.

22/02/2026: We went for lunch today and didn't know about the change in management. We've been going to this pizzeria regularly for a few years. The pizzas we ate were truly poor quality, and we were extremely disappointed. We'll never go there again. The pizzas were also raw and inedible. The place isn't as clean as it was under the old management. Please note: the positive reviews are all from the old management.

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.

31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: Discovered by chance, but what a find! The place is small but clean, and the staff are very welcoming. The food—in this case, pizza and Neapolitan pastiera—are exceptional. We'll be back for the traditional Neapolitan pasta dishes.

14/01/2026: A very positive experience, my wife and I had lunch at my friend Zaid's, spaghetti alla carbonara, penne all'arrabbiata, as only he and I know how to make, 1 slice of beef with potatoes, water, wine, coffee, 2 Margherita pizzas, takeaway, €60. I forgot, between the three essences of delicious cabbage, we'll see each other soon.
