07/05/2026: We came to this restaurant without high expectations and were truly more than pleasantly surprised in every way. From the very first glance, it was clear how much effort and passion had gone into it. The ambiance is beautifully decorated, very cozy yet stylish, making you feel instantly at ease. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything just works so perfectly. For our starter, we shared the octopus salad. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and superbly prepared. You could immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients and place great emphasis on flavor. For our main courses, we had the gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce and the seafood spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The gnocchi were wonderfully soft, and the sauce was deliciously creamy with just the right amount of richness. The seafood spaghetti carbonara was simply incredible and definitely one of the best pasta dishes we've had in a long time. We would also like to give special mention to the service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You could really tell that they enjoyed their work and were dedicated to making the evening perfect for their guests. This positive atmosphere permeated the entire restaurant and made the visit even more special. All in all, it was a truly perfect evening. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything was just right. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. A well-deserved five stars! Grazie!

07/05/2026: Great restaurant, great food, and very friendly staff. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, so don't expect quick service as there are only 2-3 people working. We opted for the €15 set menu and were more than impressed with what we got for it. 🫶🏻

08/04/2026: We tried everything on the menu! Homemade pasta, gluten-free pizza, and tiramisu!!! It's a dream come true! 😍 The staff and the owner are super friendly.

08/04/2026: Amazing restaurant accredited by the Italian celiac association. They offer amazing gluten free pasta and are very knowledgeable about lactose free options as well. They also have a wide and tasty "regular" menu for those without food intolerances.

04/05/2026: The food was excellent, and the staff and owner were very kind and attentive to gluten-free options. We occasionally had to wait both to be seated and for our food, but nothing serious.

02/05/2026: I'd noticed this restaurant thanks to the reviews, since they had gluten-free pici. Two of us go in, it's 9:30 PM sharp—it doesn't seem that late. We see there are several free tables, but the welcome is terrible; they send us away, saying they're closed. Can they close at 9:30? Rude as hell.

10/05/2026: Very good food, friendly staff. The only downside is the slow service, as it takes an hour from ordering to the food arriving.

02/05/2026: The food is decent, as are the prices. The staff is unprepared (three of us gave different directions about the contents of the set menus). For those who order the €15 tourist menu, be aware that water is included in half a liter per person. Although they only brought two 0.75-liter bottles for four of us.

16/05/2026: Fine and not expensive The decor is pleasantly timeless, just like the menu. Authentic dishes. Wine by the bottle, lots of choice but a somewhat pricey selection, so I went for the cheaper house wine at €7 for half a liter. Was okay. Nice cured meats, cheese, and Crostini platter. Guinea fowl with patates al forno. Unfortunately, the sauce on the scallopina al vino Bianco seemed a bit of a failure. Watery and lacking in wine flavor. The desserts, however, were fine, especially crema catalana and cantucci with vin santo. Not a 5 because of that wine sauce before the food. It got quite busy with two larger groups. All in all, a pleasant place and adequate service.

16/05/2026: Fantastic Restaurant in Certaldo. The food was incredible. We had a Caprese salad. The Mozzarella and Tomatoes were delicious. Mains included the Cuttlefish Ravioli and Pici with Tomato and Garlic (which had this amazing sweetness). Both mains were top class. The restaurant was busy however that did not impact the service. Lots of vegetarian options. While we did not have the pizza, it looked delicious and large.

12/02/2026: A very welcoming place with a chill atmosphere (jazz music playing in the background) that's truly heartwarming. The staff does it all with a smile, and it's so nice! Thank you for the service; the food is also very good and reasonably priced. Always happy to come here!

19/04/2026: Good Neapolitan pizza and excellent service! I went on a Sunday evening, it was quiet and welcoming. I recommend it.

06/04/2026: It's become a regular stop: every summer we come to Elba, we always return to eat at La Rustica, and today, for Easter Monday, we were delighted to return. Over the years, we've tried absolutely everything, and the quality has always remained high. The seafood first courses are excellent, flavorful, and well-seasoned, the fried fish is light and tasty, and overall, you can sense the attention to detail in the selection of ingredients. Personally, the pizza isn't the restaurant's strong point, but everything else more than makes up for it. The atmosphere is also pleasant and the service is friendly; you always feel at ease. It's one of those places you'll gladly return to because you know you'll eat well and have a wonderful evening. For us, it's become a tradition and will continue to be so. Highly recommended!

01/05/2026: Rustic setting in the Florentine hinterland. Well-crafted home cooking, varied dishes, and generous portions. The wait times are a bit long, but more than anything, they're uneven: appetizers and first courses are very quick, but then there's a long wait for main courses and side dishes. Otherwise, the staff is courteous and very friendly, and deserves a special mention.

02/05/2026: We walked in by chance, and from the first moment, I felt that wonderful sensation of being in the right place. The trio of tartares was truly the best I've ever tasted: fresh, carefully prepared, and made with true care. The place has an atmosphere that embraces you without making any noise, and the waiters were kind, attentive, and smiling. A simple but special evening, a surprise that left me grateful and eager to return.

05/04/2026: It deserves five stars. It was recommended to us and it was the right choice! We had a Tuscan platter with cured meats, cheeses, crostini, and acqua cotta (so good!), truly excellent. But the pizza was fantastic! I had cacio e pepe; my husband had four cheeses with anchovies and onions. Despite the ingredients we chose, the pizza was light, digestible, and very tasty 😋 our daughter ordered a kids' menu. Two desserts, vin santo, and coffee were really cheap. We recommend it to everyone!
