20/10/2025: Nice place, more than fair prices, service needs to be reviewed: when we asked to take away the pizza and to be able to cut it they responded with a "really!" 🫠

12/01/2026: Attracted by the rave reviews, I wanted to try it, and I can say that... yes, it's a nice, well-kept place. The service was very sketchy, if not poor, with zero professionalism. I won't go into detail because I don't want to be harsh. I'll just mention the owner and the tall, pale-eyed waiter. The food was so-so... I hear talk of tradition, absolute goodness, but I didn't find any of that. The first courses were good, except for the farinata, which arrived cold. Otherwise, nothing special. The price was, let's say, acceptable. I won't be back, much less recommending it to friends and acquaintances.

08/01/2026: For Christmas, my sister gave me a gift card that included a dinner for two, including: welcome aperitif first course second course dessert and coffee, obviously excluding drinks. A very beautiful place with an elegant, vintage touch. We were greeted with professionalism and kindness by all the staff. Despite having lived in Lucca since birth, I had never been to this restaurant, a huge mistake, given the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. A risotto lover, I was literally captivated by the pumpkin risotto with biscuit crumble, absolutely the best risotto I've ever eaten. The tagliatelle with cod in a stew were also delicious. For the main course, a slice of amberjack with cabbage, good but bland. I would have preferred something more flavorful, and rovelline with mashed potatoes, a typical dish. For dessert, caramelized fruit with vanilla ice cream, definitely not my favorite dessert, and cheesecake with berry sauce, delicious and creamy. Of course, we opted for a small bottle of wine, since I'm teetotal. In short, we had a wonderful time throughout. I thank the wait staff who, with extreme kindness and courtesy, accompanied our dinner. A restaurant worth visiting at least once.

07/10/2025: We had a lovely evening! Every dish was delicious; I was amazed by the delicious caponata. My compliments to the entire staff. When I have to recommend a great restaurant, I'll definitely mention this one.

13/12/2025: A disappointing experience despite the positive reviews. It's a small osteria in a hamlet just outside Arezzo. We sat down for lunch; we weren't given a menu; instead, the owner/waiter verbally listed a selection of three or four first courses and four second courses. The quality was average to low, and the fact that everything was served within minutes of ordering suggests it was all precooked. The ravioli with meat sauce were decent, but the rabbit, fried long beforehand and then reheated in the oven, was inedible. Green beans with sauce were served on the side, but they were probably lemon-flavored beforehand. Nearly €60 for a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, two desserts, and a bottle of water wouldn't be too much, but forget about the flavors of Tuscan cuisine.

13/12/2025: Delicious food and impeccable, friendly, and professional service. It's a shame about the parking and location! I highly recommend it; I'll definitely be back.

12/01/2026: What can I say, the name is perfect. Osteria dei Poeti, and in the kitchen, they don't prepare "normal" dishes, but truly delicious poems. Naturally, the wait staff then serves them, explaining the lines and rhymes. Thanks guys, we ate really well: mixed bruschetta, artichokes alla Giudia and fried artichokes (delicious), ribollita, ravioli with bacon and onion, etc. (another delight), and spaghetti with prawns. As I say in these cases... a truly wonderful dinner!!!

03/01/2026: A pleasant discovery in the alleys of Sansepolcro! I dined with a group of friends and we left happy and full. The artichokes cooked three times were delicious. Homemade pasta with shrimp and calamari was delicious. The chocolate, ricotta, and cherry dessert was fantastic. The service was attentive and fast. Highly recommended!

15/01/2026: Honestly, I happen to be here every now and then, but I don't think it needs a review or anything else... Honestly, their calling card is in the dishes and the pizza. I can only say that I compete in all of Prato and I don't lose! Compliments also from Sicily and Calabria (quality/price 10+)

02/01/2026: After visiting a museum in Pistoia, we stopped at the pizzeria at an unusual hour. The owners welcomed us kindly and served their dishes, which we found to be of good quality. A wonderful experience!

28/12/2025: One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a pizzeria. The pizza was incredibly hard, dry, completely inedible, and unworthy of being served. To make matters worse, the receipt was incorrect twice, forcing me to pay double commission, without an apology, without a discount, and without the slightest respect for the customer. A sloppy work style and an arrogant attitude bordering on the absurd. This place should definitely be avoided.

01/02/2026: As far as I'm concerned, pizza is only Neapolitan, but I have to be honest, it made me rediscover the pleasure of Tuscan pizza; truly delicious, very digestible, top-quality ingredients, extremely welcoming and polite staff. As soon as we arrived, they brought us a sort of appetizer (as a courtesy to guests), which was very, very, very welcome and delicious. The baked goods were amazing... the cleanliness was excellent... The price was more than fair. Very good! We'll be back more than happy to.

04/12/2025: A simple, informal atmosphere where you feel right at home. People come for pizza. There's a limited choice of starters and no main courses, as this is a renowned bakery that has adapted to serving pizza at table service in the evenings. There are appetizers, though, and the owners offer a small welcome selection of savory appetizers, followed by desserts at the end of the meal. The pizza is thin, in keeping with local tradition, and in my opinion, good. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. If you want to spend a pleasant evening at a truly reasonable price, this place is ideal.

16/12/2025: Beautiful and well-kept place, we can eat inside and outside, beautiful terrace from which you can see the landscape, excellent place to eat Tuscan food, very good appetizers and very good first and second courses, typical meat and fish dishes, very kind and professional both the staff and the owner as soon as you arrive to order, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and satisfy your requests, clean restrooms, good prices, large parking lot, that's why I gave it 4 stars, I recommend trying the pizzas and the tagliolini with lobster, they are finger-licking good, and the Cinta Senese pork loin with fried patent and fried porcini mushrooms 😋😋😀
