09/11/2025: Terrible experience. Location with a stunning lake view. Questionable portions and timing. Lack of quality and disorganized staff. Exorbitant prices.

25/09/2025: We ate inside due to bad weather. The food was ok, but was the worst meal we had in the town. The outside area beside the lake would be a lovely setting to eat by, but there are better places to eat

26/10/2025: It's a very nice restaurant with very friendly service and delicious food, including dessert. The prices were a bit high, but otherwise everything was great.

13/10/2025: Nice food in hided place. There were no people. Very quiet

16/05/2026: The worst restaurant I've ever seen in Italy, I don't recommend it… The meat wasn't cooked properly, and the staff was very unprofessional.

16/05/2026: We came for dinner today with five people. Unfortunately, the pasta was inedible – undercooked, not even al dente, cold, unseasoned, and very bland. We reported this to the waitstaff, but it was ignored. The restaurant was very cold. We paid the full bill without complaint and left disappointed and hungry.

02/05/2026: Since coffee is on the price list displayed at the entrance, we enter and politely ask if she can make us two. The lady at the counter looks at us askance and tells us in an extremely rude tone that she doesn't offer coffee service. I would suggest updating the price list so as not to waste people's time. I would also suggest a little courtesy, or at least respect, especially in a job where people work in front of the public.

02/05/2026: He displays the menu with the price of coffee. We go in to ask for a coffee and are shooed away in an annoyed tone. I would advise not to give false information and to be polite.

20/07/2025: A family-run trattoria run by the mayor. Authentic, simple, and delicious cuisine. Excellent! The ladies in charge of the kitchen and table service are wonderful!

30/12/2025: Nice place for a quick lunch. We had a simple sandwich, which was good overall. The price is justified by its location.

13/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch today. I'll start by saying that the staff was very friendly, and they gave me a €2.20 discount because I paid cash. I imagine the food was frozen and reheated. I noticed at home, because I didn't have glasses, that the cover charge was for seven people, but there were three of us. Never happened to me in my life... Of course, it's easy to make a mistake with people you won't see again because they're tourists...

28/09/2025: Today I ate a really good stuffed focaccia, in the sun and with a view of the mountains, I'd say it was top notch! Everyone was very kind ❤️

01/09/2025: Foreword: I'm writing as a customer, but having worked as a street vendor and bartender, I always try to put myself in the shoes of the person behind the counter before writing a review. About two weeks ago, we went into the bar to get four coffees, two of which were cold macchiatos. They served them at the counter, then we moved them to one of the tables inside and sat down. Since time immemorial, cold macchiatos have been served with a small jug of milk on the side. Not here; they pour the cold milk into your coffee cup, which wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that my wife stood up and asked, "Could I have some more milk?" "We already gave you the milk." "I know, but I'd like some more." "But the milk's already in the coffee." "I understand, but I'd like some more. I'll pay for it, no problem for me." A gentleman behind the counter intervenes, and—I can't tell whether he hadn't heard the previous exchange or simply wanted to agree with his colleague—parrotally repeats "We already gave you the milk." Frankly, I don't understand what could drive people not only to be so stubborn over something stupid, but also to display such arrogance. Are you not good at the job? Don't have the patience or desire to do it because you're tired? Get a grip or change your job, because sooner or later the saying "tit for tat" will come into play. Another thing: is it possible that in 2025 there are still bars with only one bathroom that requires climbing steps to reach? And with a squat toilet at that? In 2025???

24/09/2025: Unfortunately, you don't feel welcome at all as a guest here. Not even a smile—that has nothing to do with a vacation. It's a shame, because with good staff, we could have tripled the sales. And certainly more tips too 😉 We ended up buying our drinks at the supermarket. Not to save money, but because the men at the checkout were always super friendly.

18/09/2025: The staff isn't really into it. With three bar staff, they could also provide excellent table service.

30/10/2025: The service was fast, efficient, and pleasant. However, the price of the food is high for a quality that could easily be achieved at home.

23/10/2025: We had lunch here, and found the food excellent and the atmosphere great. We had the bruschetta, tartare, carbonara, and tagliata, all delicious. We paired our lunch with a bottle of house red, which was also excellent. Plus, the staff was especially helpful and friendly. Definitely a place we'd recommend! Signed by the guys at Il Corvo ❤️

02/05/2026: We stayed here for four days. Excellent drinks, especially the limoncello spritz. Fast service and reasonable prices. Excellent location in the center of Stresa. Excellent platters.

13/03/2026: Terrible service. We paid 9 euros for two cappuccinos. Shame!!!

10/03/2026: We're not quite there: Annoyed service; the waitress immediately became annoyed when we asked to move tables. Roast potatoes: 8 of each for 6 euros. Fried lake fish: 80% of which are cheap fish, but it's a 20-euro dish. Half a liter of draft wine: €12.50. Definitely too expensive, and above all, cold and annoyed service.

03/05/2026: We stopped for a coffee and a slice of pizza before visiting the gardens. The lady who served us was extremely rude and annoyed. The price was excessive (€10.50 for a coffee, a water, and a "slice of pizza," which was served cold). Not recommended.

01/05/2026: High prices for poor dishes, we ordered spaghetti with clams only to find a poor dish with 4 clams, and they were also slow in service, even just to bring us a bottle of water.
