"Café Glace" is the advertising slogan. The small bowl contained an espresso and a tiny scoop of ice cream—a really tiny scoop with a lot of whipped cream inside. A bit disappointing. You're paying for the location. At least the server spoke English :)

Yesterday evening, all the restaurants were booked for groups. Despite the negative reviews, we went to L'Union. To our great surprise, it was a wonderful evening. The staff were charming, friendly, and smiling. The atmosphere was lovely, with a calm and shaded terrace. The meal was perfectly suited to the island of Precatore. It cost 73 euros for two people: a shared starter, two main courses, and a shared dessert. As for the portions, we went out for dinner. An exciting experience, the "dolce vita" Italian style. I visited this restaurant during a trip to the three islands. I was particularly drawn to this lakeside location, where I found it very pleasant to enjoy lunch. The dishes are very simple. We opted for fried food and a first course. I really enjoyed the dishes themselves. If I ever return to the island, I would probably choose it again.

19/04/2026: The raisin brioche was very good, the gelato and cappuccino were decent. The atmosphere was lovely, especially the outdoor seating, which still felt a bit like being in the park. We didn't appreciate the behavior of one of the waitresses, who rudely treated her colleague, who was obviously a novice, for mistakenly bringing us a cup of gelato that wasn't for us. Everyone makes mistakes, but it didn't bother us at all. She also confused him further by telling him to take everything away, when in fact the mistake was only about one item. We understand the stress at the end of the day, but respect for others must always be present.

25/05/2026: We ordered a plate of prosciutto and melon as an aperitif. The menu photo showed six slices of melon, but we only received half that amount. The service was okay.
24/05/2026: It was okay for a coffee and a croissant. The toilets weren't great.
