26/07/2025: Immer hier zum Aperitif. Um 11 Uhr gibt es ein Plättli dazu. Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer wieder. Auch zum Essen . Angenehmer und schneller Service.

25/07/2025: Siamo stati per pranzo in questa fantastica location ed è stata una delle nostre esperienze peggiori. Innanzitutto partirei con il dire che il menù non rispecchia i piatti serviti. Abbiamo ordinato una burrata con pomodorini e ci è stato servito una mozzarella con pomodoro a fette e il pollo croccante sembrava una cotoletta impanata surgelata. Altra nota negativa il servizio. La signora , dopo aver chiesto dove fossero i nostri piatti (in notevole ritardo) ci ha apostrofato con battute fuori luogo (“vado a vedere, se l’ordine arriva dopo 3 minuti da ora pagherò io” una volta arrivato l’ordine esultava per il fatto che non avrebbe dovuto pagare). L’unica esperienza positiva la gentilezza del cameriere che ci ha accolti che per lo meno cercava di sopperire alla maleducazione dei responsabili. Siamo ancora in attesa di sapere se il gelato al mirtillo è disponibile ma presumiamo sia esaurito.

02/11/2025: If I'd read some of the negative reviews, I wouldn't have gone in. Having not seen them, we instead ordered gnocchi all'Ossolana and tagliatelle with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Everything was delicious, and the prices were in line with expectations. I almost forgot...a glass of good Nebbiolo!

19/10/2025: The meal was very good, but the service was terrible. If we had to do it again, we would have had to get up and go somewhere else—which we didn't do out of politeness, but we should have! It took them a long time to take our drink order at first, and then we had to wait about twenty minutes for our drinks, even though there were only two of us. We were drying out right there. Then, when the owner came to take our order, I was in the middle of telling him my choice of dish when he vanished, before returning later to finish taking my order. I found this unspeakably rude—it's the first time this has ever happened to me. Furthermore, he was neither welcoming nor welcoming. I found it a shame that the service was of such high quality when our dishes were very good and generous in quantity.

04/10/2025: The pasta was too salty and the service wasn't the best, and the price wasn't what we were told when we ordered; in fact, it had gone up at the till.

04/10/2025: The service was just okay, the pasta was so salty it was almost inedible. The worst part was that we were initially told two dishes would cost 15 euros, but when we got the bill, one dish came to 18 euros, and the attitude was also very rude.

23/01/2025: This place service owner Gino and waiter Bello are top all wishes were optimally fulfilled when it comes to food quality and service there is nothing in the area that beats all of this. Fish pizza everything here is made in traditional Neapolitan cuisine with heart and soul.

03/11/2024: Absolutely avoid. What is offered on the menu is not then served on the plate: sea bass fillet with shrimp, a chef's sauce on the menu, served two small grilled fillets with baked potatoes and 2 slices of frozen tomatoes. It's okay that an ingredient isn't available, but they don't even tell you. At the tables next door it was even worse, they refused the dish and took a carbonara... which arrived when the others were at the café and they had the bacon... the charcoal colored one. This is not to mention the discussion based on swearing and teasing between the host of the restaurant and the waiter of the restaurant next door. Disgusting. (Photo of the "receipt" released.

15/11/2025: Terrible. After waiting in line, they seated us at a table in a rather poor location, but it was acceptable given the crowd. They brought us the fixed-price menu and the à la carte menu. My friends and I each chose two dishes from the à la carte menu. When the waitress came to take our order, she told us, rather annoyed and rudely, that we couldn't choose from the à la carte menu because we hadn't booked. Therefore, they only offered the fixed-price menu. We reluctantly agreed: the food they served was truly subpar. Even the strudel was inedible. What bothered us most was that we weren't told right away that we'd be forced to settle for the fixed-price menu. Absolutely a no-go.

09/11/2025: I think I've tried one of the possible candidates for nightmare cuisines. After finding four restaurants fully booked (my fault for not having booked), I enter this trattoria and am welcomed, so I sit down hungry. There are few other diners besides me (four other tables with customers, the rest empty), and this makes me suspicious, but I'm hungry. I choose the menu with house wine. It's best to ignore the wine. As for the second course, I see a complete scam or incompetence on the part of the kitchen. It was supposed to be braised; I'll attach a photo and avoid comments (you be the judge of whether that is braised). The dessert, a strudel, seems like one of those frozen ones reheated in the oven; it's certainly not homemade. But the best part is the smell of cigarette smoke that comes unmistakably from the kitchen. If someone doesn't know how or doesn't want to be a restaurateur, no one forces them to do it this way (smoking while preparing food?). I ate because I was hungry and tired of finding restaurants fully booked, but in any other situation, I would have left the table disgusted. It doesn't take much to understand why there are few customers while other places are fully booked on the weekend.

26/10/2025: It's a very nice restaurant with very friendly service and delicious food, including dessert. The prices were a bit high, but otherwise everything was fine.

20/07/2025: Bellissima scoperta, napoli a baveno. Il cuoppo è fantastico, pasta mista patate e provola e spaghetti con le polpette. Che dire fantastico e la cameriera simpatica e molto capace Lo consiglio e sicuramente ci ritorneremo

05/07/2025: Éste fue el servicio más desagradable y grosero que he experimentado en el mundo en 55 años. Nuestro camarero, Antonio, dijo que no era posible compartir una pizza. Debes pedir 2 . Cuando quisimos compartir algo con otros viajeros dijo: No es posible. Los viajeros se fueron. No pedimos más comida y nos marchamos. La pizza era mediocre. Ahórrese la experiencia de un hombre que intenta débilmente vender más productos a sus clientes. Crecí en el negocio de la restauración y fui dueño de uno durante 26 años. Como italiano, es una vergüenza para nuestra cultura. Cruza la calle hasta The Clipper Bar. Podrás sentarte en el lago Maggiore con vistas y una gran hospitalidad por parte de Giverna y el personal,

21/09/2025: We went into this bar for a coffee, but the service was terrible. The baristas are in a hurry, they don't fully listen to your order, they make different things than what you asked for, then they redo everything with an annoyed expression and roll their eyes. At the cashier, they overcharged us: instead of 3 coffees and 1 cappuccino, they counted 3 coffees and 2 cappuccinos. Pay more attention.

30/10/2025: The service was fast, efficient, and pleasant. However, the price of the food is high for a quality that could easily be achieved at home.

23/10/2025: We had lunch here, and found the food excellent and the atmosphere great. We had the bruschetta, tartare, carbonara, and tagliata, all delicious. We paired our lunch with a bottle of house red, which was also excellent. Plus, the staff was especially helpful and friendly. Definitely a place we'd recommend! Signed by the guys at Il Corvo ❤️
