25/09/2025: The service could be improved, but we're talking about a café on the go, so it's acceptable. I won't be returning because a parrot cage has been placed 1 meter, or maybe less, from the refrigerated ice cream counter... who knows what kind of ice creams they'll be having... I didn't expect the local health authority to authorize such a cage placement, but that's okay... maybe it's because I have more stringent parameters.

05/08/2025: Stopped one morning at 5.15 for breakfast... a cappuccino costing 2 euros per cup in a bar/tobacconist's is extremely expensive, especially in an informal environment full of workers.

30/11/2025: Super nice and helpful guys, a great place to spend an afternoon with friends, with board games and good food, also very good for an aperitif or dinner.

29/11/2025: We had an aperitivo and dinner with a group of friends; we had a great time, and the pasta was truly excellent. The service was equally excellent, and everyone was very friendly.

04/10/2025: The food is good and the usual chain fare. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and nice, even with the little ones. A great way to dine out.

25/09/2025: Everything was perfect! The sandwiches were delicious and the staff were super kind and friendly. I highly recommend them.

19/11/2025: Good food as always, kind and helpful staff, BUT THERE IS ONE THING that really bothers me, are the often dirty trays, it's unacceptable.

12/11/2025: Small restaurant inside the shopping center. Good food, but no table service. Very noisy due to the other restaurants in the same area.

12/07/2025: Nothing special, though it's important to have a bar in the area. The brioche isn't good, and the slot machines should be eliminated...they're not good for people or the area.

23/08/2025: In the historic center, amid the splendid setting of Lake Maggiore, a bar with outdoor and indoor tables, where you can enjoy hamburgers, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and focaccias, reasonable prices, friendly staff, I recommend it.

18/11/2025: Everything is very dated. Breakfast, well...not worthy of 4 stars. Staff somewhat moody...we won't be back.

18/11/2025: Hesitant but hopeful, we stayed at this historic hotel in the city center. I don't understand the average rating. I have no complaints at all. It's a good place to stay, with nice, clean rooms. Good value for money. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The owner could smile more 😁. We'll definitely be back.

12/10/2025: Came here after leaving a nearby un-named restaurant that has a Michelin star but was super disappointing (so bad that we left that restaurant hungry). Anyways, came here afterwards for a dessert. We got the panna cotta It was delicious, service was friendly, wish we’d come here in the first place. Might come back for lunch.

09/10/2025: Super good food, very nice service, the terrasse behind is super quiet. The tagliatelle with duck... Just amazing

07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!! The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect. The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: The rudest waiter at the entire lake, and the service was commensurate. It's actually unimaginable that when we asked for antipasti, we were shown an empty plate at the next table as a sample...

19/08/2025: On every vacation, we make a mess with the food. This time it was Cor87. The staff doesn't speak English. Okay, no problem, they can communicate with hand gestures. The bad review is for the food and the feeling of not being welcome as tourists. From the menu (a board at the entrance), we ordered the hamburger with fries, an Aperol Spritz, and mayonnaise. The food was ridiculous, something I experienced during my time in the army. Instead of a "hamburger," we got a frozen burger in a grease-drenched burger patty with a small portion of fries for €10! The Aperol (it was okay, but it's hard to go wrong here) was €6. We were the only guests who didn't get bread; whether it had to be ordered separately or was included with the dish, I can't say. In total, we got €32 for two "burgers" and two Aperols. How this place gets such a good rating is a mystery to me.

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, one got the impression that tourists were rather unwelcome. We found this very unfortunate.

22/09/2025: We got two salads. Small and without dressing. Which would be ok if they cost less. One of them had an unripe pear and the other had dried out chicken. Our neighbours had hot meals and they looked better though.

18/10/2025: Pizzeria restaurant in the historic center of Santa Maria Maggiore. Nice and clean place. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Very mediocre. The service is embarrassing, to say the least. Out of four orders, they got two wrong.

18/10/2025: Tonight my husband and I ordered two appetizers, which arrived after 50 minutes and were cold. We asked for bread, and they told us they didn't have any, but there were some breadsticks left. So we had a focaccia made because we didn't have any. In theory, if you run out of bread, you should give me the option of eating something similar, like focaccia. In fact, it arrived, but I had to pay for it. Finally, we ordered two pumpkin risottos with crispy bacon, but the bacon wasn't there, and the rice was overcooked. We couldn't eat it, and we paid €44 for the whole thing. We won't be setting foot in there again.
