The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I expected something more for the snacks that accompany the aperitif.
The bar is located in Verbania, near Villa Taranto.
The atmosphere is very refined, but it doesn't have a view of the lake, but rather the street.

The store is closed, at least at this time of year.
04/10/2025: At Risto Bar Hemingway in Oggebbio, I had a truly delicious pizza, with a light and flavorful crust. The atmosphere is made even more pleasant by the splendid lake view and the always friendly and attentive staff.
A welcoming place that I happily recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy good food and an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore.

01/12/2025: We had a conscripts dinner and we had a really good time, the food was plentiful and at the end of the evening we even danced.
30/10/2025: Had dinner with a group of friends: perfect place. Excellent, home-cooked food, plentiful, and not greasy. The dining room and bathrooms were spotless. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were very polite and attentive. The price was affordable. Jerry, the chef, was superb. Highly recommended!!!

03/05/2026: We went for dinner the other day and ordered three decent pizzas. The dough lacked salt and the consistency was a bit rubbery. The ingredients were lacking for the price. I ordered the parmigiana and got four extra-thin slices of eggplant—a bit too much!!! The service is slow.

31/07/2025: A simple, straightforward bar with a nice view of the lake.
There are tables and chairs, so you can relax for a while, but otherwise, the bar is unremarkable. There are a few small snacks and a small selection of drinks – coffee, wine, something cold – but no classic cocktails.
It's also a shame there's no music or friendlier service, which would improve the atmosphere.
The beach next door also needs better maintenance – if it were more well-maintained, the entire facility would have the potential to attract more tourists.

20/11/2025: I really like this restaurant, with its pleasant atmosphere. You always feel special. Every dish is perfectly prepared and presented, and the flavor is excellent. The service is very attentive.
I tried the restaurant's appetizers, tagliata and octopus. Excellent quality and rich in flavor.

After a bike ride from Domodossola to Omegna, food usually tastes terrible. My colleague and I ordered "Filetto al Salmone in Crosta" from the menu. The fish we were served smelled like bad raclette cheese! Inedible. Probably spoiled fish. We each only ate a forkful. When I told the waiter the fish was inedible, he apologized, and that was that. The receipt then listed it as "Trotta di salmone" – salmon trout. Even as trout, which I actually love, it was inedible!
The service was a disaster: the table was completely filthy, and the placemats had been placed on top. So, after waiting about 15 minutes, I called the waiter to order. He seemed surprised and asked what I wanted??? When I finally said we wanted to eat, he turned around to leave. I called out to him to bring me a wheat beer, but he kept walking and brought me a regular draft beer in a dirty glass. He didn't ask my colleague anything…
18/10/2025: These beautiful autumn days still make it easy to sip something outside, so it's nice here. The service is good, the young, brunette waitress with glasses is very kind, and the prices are fair. The barley coffee is delicious, and the cream cannoli are also truly delicious. Compared to a few years ago, when I didn't have a great time having an aperitivo with friends, I think you've definitely improved. Keep it up.

05/05/2026: From a chain, I would have expected a better organization and business model.
I ordered a side of vegetables, and what arrived was something embarrassing, something that 100% of the time no restaurant would ever dare serve; starting with the choice of cutting the vegetables, such as the zucchini sliced thinly and into rounds. What was still inconceivable was not so much the cutting, but the fact that they were served burnt. The portion, besides being ridiculous, was burnt, and looked like a small plate of burnt leftovers discarded from some other table. A courageous choice, in short, to serve something like that.
Speaking of the ribs, however, they were nauseating, bordering on indecency, industrially and excessively smoked, glazed with something so sweet it seemed like an outsider dessert, without even the foresight or finesse that comes from real cooking experience to also use salt and maybe pepper—in short, the basics of cuisine in general around the world.
I understand the choice to optimize service, probably by using a CBT with a roner, but in my opinion, meat in a so-called steakhouse should have other qualities and not just be seen as grilled for aesthetic reasons. The meat is therefore juicy, melt-in-the-mouth, but overly sweet and nauseatingly smoked.
The staff, from the kitchen to the dining room, is inexperienced, very young, perhaps with no experience or even no training in the sector, especially in the kitchen, I'd say. €75 was a waste of money. Totally in need of revision. The service was distracted and disorganized; the coffees were forgotten and served after 20 minutes. I left and it didn't feel like I'd eaten grilled or barbecued meat. The best part? The potatoes, even if they weren't fried enough, which came in frozen bags, and the arrosticini, even if a little rubbery, probably due to improper defrosting, but at least I was able to taste the grill and, above all, the flavor of the meat. Honestly, it's better to spend a little more at a real steak house or go to any well-known fast food restaurant where you can also save money. On a positive note, the wine is good value for money, but otherwise, it's just not up to par. The food service team lacks a lot of thought and organization. This isn't a chain destined for growth, at least not this place.
A piece of advice: improve these things and remove those spicy sauce toppings and sweet glazes from the ribs. Think about something more classic, especially starting to use salt, no spicy sauces or anything else. The meat is the star of the show, not a pastry shop. Leave the sugar to them. Learn to balance the use of sweet glazes. Honey might be better, but it needs to be measured and balanced with salt and maybe some mustard. It felt like eating meat soaked in pure glucose syrup.
This is definitely not a steak house.
If an American were to accidentally walk in, he'd probably set the place on fire at the very least. This is neither Italian style nor American barbecue, it's a complete joke.
The average age target it is aimed at is 16 to 18 year olds with obviously very undemanding and totally immature palates.
