A must-try restaurant in the area. Just 15 minutes from Verbania and the food is outstanding! The welcome is warm and friendly, and the staff is there to ensure you fully enjoy your meal. And the view is simply breathtaking—you'll have to see for yourself!

Located in a small village away from the crowds that usually gather near Lake Maggiore on holidays. The location is excellent, with a distant view of the lake. The menu is quite comprehensive, and the dishes we tried were delicious, including the high-quality fish. The service was truly friendly and knowledgeable. The high prices lower my overall rating a bit.

These are the people who used to run Locanda a Sud above Ghiffa. Same excellent, super fresh, seafood heavy cuisine. Not a big menu but what’s on it is well prepared. Went in early summer so could enjoy the huge terrace. Recommend booking ahead. Staff as helpful, casual, humorous and competent as always. Will be back.

21/05/2026: The food here was excellent and the service was also very good. Would recommend the courgette flower starter as it was sensational. The poached pear for dessert was also fantastic.
15/05/2026: The restaurant is modern and well-kept, sophisticated but not pretentious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food deserves a special mention; all the dishes were excellent and meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, from the plating to the food pairings. The value for money was excellent compared to other restaurants we tried in town, where the service was also significantly inferior.
