23/08/2025: Been coming here for years, usually on a day trip from Switzerland for the Saturday market and we always call in for a drink. Visited later in the day this time and had some food for a change. Absolutely fantastic. Tagliatelle Ragu and Ravioli stuffed with Sea Bass. Never have pasta dishes tasted so good. It's amazing what they can achieve in such a small kitchen. Staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended. Unfortunately we had to leave quickly after our food due to our planned train being delayed and having to rush for an earlier one.

22/02/2026: Welcoming restaurant in the small square of Stresa with outdoor tables, fish and meat dishes, fresh pasta, very good, light pizza, exquisite desserts, very kind and attentive staff. Must try!

13/12/2025: Everything was top-notch. Andrea is a great gentleman, and as soon as you walk in the door, you feel at home. Fresh food, excellent trio of heifers, great company, and impeccable service. 10/11/2025: Spurred by the good reviews, wanting to explore the area, we stopped at this place. The location is very beautiful and quiet, and the lady who served us was very kind. There's no standard menu; the owner (very kind and friendly) checks what's available. The charcuterie board (homemade, the lard is amazing) and mountain cheeses are highly recommended. The agnolotti (definitely homemade) with gorgonzola and walnuts are excellent, as are the sliced ​​steak and the stew with taragna polenta, delicious like few others I've tasted. The house wine is good. We ordered two mixed platters, one first course, three second courses, water, a can and a half of red wine, one dessert, three coffees, and the kindly offered homemade grappa, for a more than reasonable final bill of €109. A shout out also to Rufus, the awesome pocket-sized dog who handles the reception :-) Thanks, and see you next time.

06/01/2026: I've been coming back to this place for years. Despite my food intolerances, I always manage to find something suitable. The atmosphere is magical, romantic, and cozy, with the charm of a mountain retreat but with style and class. The prices are absolutely justified by the quality of the experience. The outdoor location, atop the hill, is simply breathtaking, surrounded by mountains. Returning is always a pleasure, and I always recommend it to our guests.

09/03/2026: Highly recommended: excellent cuisine and a warm, family atmosphere. We visited this restaurant today for lunch with friends, and the experience was a great one from start to finish. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, and you can taste the care taken in every course: from appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and the value for money is more than satisfactory, which will definitely make us want to return! Well done! Keep up the good work.

19/11/2025: Excellent cooperative with more than affordable prices and flavors that exceed my budget. It's the first time I've been served two first courses, with no choice, and two second courses, also with no choice, for a fixed price. The arrangement was unexpected, but truly appreciated.

The atmosphere is welcoming and charming, with a touch of old-world elegance that makes everything even more special. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive: she recommended a truly delightful evening meal and even arranged a little surprise for my husband—a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made our stay even more memorable.

18/09/2025: We had a 25 square meter room with a lake view. It was amazing. The furniture was a bit worn, but everything was super clean. We've rarely had such a clean room. We were there with our golden retriever. Breakfast was decent. The location is fantastic.

18/03/2026: We've known and frequented it for years. First and foremost, I find it to be in an enchanting location with a breathtaking view. The place is rustic, welcoming, and exudes history and simplicity, with beautiful wooden furnishings and mountain memories. I find the owner's service almost always extremely courteous and kind. The dishes, cooked simply but with genuine, top-quality products, are always delicious and plentiful. The price is more than reasonable, with excellent value. They welcome our four-legged friends. Suitable for couples, groups, even with children. Highly recommended.

A wide selection of wines and spirits, so it's perfect for aperitifs, but also for breakfast and snacks thanks to its excellent pastries.
