15/08/2024: The food in this restaurant is of a high standard, very delicious and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. The menu impresses with its few but specialized dishes and is specifically NOT aimed at the masses. In July 2024, only fish/seafood was listed. In contrast to many restaurants close to tourists, the Primi e Secondi Piatti are really designed so that you should order both courses in order to fill yourself up. The restaurant is located away from the tourist crowds with a wonderful view and a nice ambience. It is mostly visited by locals. Reservations are strongly recommended as it gets very busy in the evenings. The service speaks excellent English.

13/05/2024: Gorgeous. Excellent food (especially the gnocchi) and local and family cuisine, the grandmother and daughter in the kitchen and the grandson serving. Very very nice. 30euro per adult all inclusive (wine, drink, dessert, coffee, etc.). Really cheap. Cash only. A very nice address.

29/04/2024: The food is good, it feels like eating at grandma's house, the management is familiar, everyone is kind, the only one is that you only pay in cash, they don't have cards or debit cards.

28/08/2024: Inadequate staff. I had to ask for a sponge to clean the table myself. It feels like a nuisance. Wrong order from the waitress and it seemed like we were to blame.

26/08/2024: Very good Neapolitan pizza, quality ingredients, we also tried the gluten-free pizza and it was very good. The gluten-free pizza is not the typical Neapolitan one but is made with dough which makes it a little high but really very good. We will definitely be back.

24/07/2024: Very friendly staff and one of the best pizzas just outside the hustle and bustle of Stresa. You sit right next to the disused train station, which we liked. We had the feeling that the restaurant was also visited by locals, which confirms the quality of the food! Above all, the homemade tagliatelle with the game ragout was fantastic!!!

22/07/2024: Oltre la cortesia del titolare (ci ha fornito aiuto per piccolo incidente accorso a mia moglie) ci siamo fermati e gustato buoni piatti (consiglio spaghettone alle vongole) e dessert. Buona la pizza, fornita la cantina e dopo averci offerto il sorbetto, ho pagato un giusto conto (pure scontato). Ci ritornerò.

13/08/2024: Fantastic stay and great restaurant. I booked with Smartbox and after looking for stays for months in my opinion this is the best. Don't be scared by the road because you can get there without problems and it's really worth it. Everyone is very kind and the restaurant is delicious! A quiet place surrounded by greenery. Super Pet Friendly is really important to me that it is.

08/08/2024: Very friendly people, clean room and good food. The morning buffet is very small and almost everything is still packaged, like in Lidl. There was fresh bread on the second day.

25/07/2024: Really really good food!! However, there were not enough waiters for a full restaurant and you did not get the experience of "being seen" as you would like in a place like this. It rubbed off on the waiters who were at work and they seemed stressed and a little confused. But again, the food was worth it as well as the wine recommendation

16/08/2024: It is inside a shopping center, in concrete and facing the lake. To get there on foot, you walk on the road without a sidewalk. They had booked for mid-August lunch and asked if there was an à la carte menu, but when we arrived we found a menu for mid-August which was absolutely not what we expected. We didn't eat.

15/08/2024: Despite being in a shopping center, the place is very nice, with a beautiful view of the lake. For the rest, there are several things to correct: the service is not impeccable, the politeness was often not the best, the pizzas arrived at the wrong tables, and the times were also a little long. The variety and quality of the ingredients of the pizza are good, however the pizza is indigestible, I think they made the dough the same afternoon, it didn't rise in the way and time it deserves. I can't comment on the bill because the dinner was offered to me, but judging from the menu the prices seem average. I'll probably try it again out of season and maybe eat cuisine, hoping it's better.

12/08/2024: The pasta was delicious, as was the Caesar salad. The tiramisu (traditional/pistachio) was a real delight! The presentation of the dishes was very careful, the service pleasant and fast. Great restaurant, I highly recommend!

20/08/2024: Few dishes, but all excellent, mainly with polenta. Honest prices

31/07/2024: The ravioli with sage and butter sauce is really bad. The pasta was dry, and the filling tasteless. The butter sauce was not on it. Never eaten such factory pasta before. I don't come to Italy for this. :(
