07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the
Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!!
The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect.
The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again.
Highly recommended.

It's actually unimaginable that when we asked for antipasti, we were shown an empty plate at the next table as a sample...

27/09/2025: the food is vibrant colorfull and most importantly flavorful. The mezes are fun and ready to be share meanwhile the main: meatballs with the burnt eggplant sauce it is just a delicacy you do not want to share with no one.
The wine list is what you expect lots of Italian options as well as internationals bottles.
Overall a good service that was always available.

13/12/2025: A McDonald's like many others; you come here for the price and speed. The ordering options are convenient. The place is clean.
04/12/2025: This is the second time I've waited 40 minutes for two sandwiches and a portion of fries. If you come to McDonald's, it's because you're short on time. In the end, I asked for a bag to take away everything. The employees are kind and apologize, and to make up for it, they'll offer you fries or a drink. Never again will I go to this McDonald's.

They asked for an affogato, which is coffee and ice cream for those who aren't in the business like those who work at Perugina. The result was a sundae with pieces of marron glacé and ice cream: €8.
Nothing to reproach them for; those who don't want to do their job should find something else.
20/07/2025: A two-flavor ice cream for €3, okay, with the opening of the tube you have to dare, but let it be two, not one and a half, because the most popular flavor is just to be tasted.

22/11/2025: I went to Antonino Cannavacciolo's Banco for a snack, the place was welcoming and the desserts were excellent.
29/10/2025: Overpriced for what they offer, ordinary croissants, zero service.
$3.50 for a cappuccino, and you even have to carry it to the table on a tray. It's just a money-wasting bar.

14/11/2025: Good, good, good! We had dinner today: absolutely fair prices, generous portions (the trio of meat appetizers is perfect for two to share), and excellent quality, well-cooked meat. We asked for a tender cut of meat, cooked rare, and they gave us good advice.
Plus, the entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
We'll be back!

16/11/2025: I went to this bar with some friends for a relaxing afternoon. I ordered a hot chocolate, while the others opted for an aperitivo with a drink and a platter. However, when it came to the bill, I was charged €10 for the hot chocolate, as if I'd also consumed the aperitivo. The waiter never asked me if I wanted to participate in the aperitivo, assuming I did.
02/11/2025: The café isn't huge, but they have tables both inside and out, and a fairly sheltered outdoor area. The coffee and cappuccino are good, and there's a wide selection of pastries, cookies, and other sweet treats. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

27/08/2025: We can't bring ourselves to accept the €40 lunch on August 15, 2025. It's an exorbitant price for a bare-bones portion and poor quality, with potatoes in their skins and wine on tap. What Caritas offered to the poor is much better.
