19/11/2025: Although it's quite small inside, it's a great shop where you can get food and drinks and also find a wide variety of board games. I attended a Pokemon prerelease, and the atmosphere is positive and friendly, like Davide, the owner.

08/12/2025: First time here and I have to say we had a delicious pizza 🍕, an excellent beer 🍺 and the dessert was also very good. Quiet and nice place. The only downside, if I may say, is the service. I noticed a bit of confusion among them, as if there was some discomfort. Anyway, I highly recommend it.
09/09/2025: I'd better skip the pizza. The first courses, especially the gnocchi, are truly excellent. Some say they're good, others less so. The desserts are good. As a mountain village restaurant, it's more than adequate. Pontechianale is experiencing a strong growth in tourism, so I'd say it's time to improve in many respects.

update the hours and closing times on Google Maps instead of writing a note on the door. We came here after a long drive on Sunday, April 5th, and saw a closed note on the door. Google Maps said it was open!
04/01/2026: We went to this place on the recommendation of the agriturismo where we're staying. I'd say it's wonderful!! The staff were extremely professional and helpful! The woman who served and looked after us was very kind and welcoming. The food and wine were excellent.

23/11/2025: The best kebab you can eat in Turin. I've visited many places but I've never seen anything as good as this. Everything was great. I especially recommend the Panino kebab. Thank you for everything.

27/12/2025: I arrived on a Saturday at 10:15 am, even though the sign said it was open. When I went to order, someone from inside the kitchen (they didn't even bother to come out and tell me to my face) told me it was closed. They were very rude and didn't care about serving me politely.
I will never return, and I certainly don't recommend it.

29/08/2025: Nothing to complain about, the staff is super attentive and kind.
The refuge is privately run, and let's just say it shows compared to other refuges run by the CAI. The prices are unreasonable for the quality of service offered. The rooms are very dated, with noisy beds and doors, and a slightly pungent smell in the common areas. The food is unremarkable. Dinner is plentiful but of very poor quality. In fact, the quality is simply not there. However, the problem is that a van could easily drive to this place to deliver the produce. The picnic sandwiches were inedible. We must have thrown half of them away. What a shame.

24/02/2026: I ordered from Glovo, and it arrived very quickly. Aside from the fact that they added some unwanted condiments, I ate it anyway, and after a couple of hours I started feeling so sick that I spent an hour in the bathroom vomiting up what I'd just eaten.

01/03/2026: Me and my friend were there every night (7 nights) and played cards for hours, partied w the bartender and everything in between. The workers and the owner were really kind and genuine, the prices were exceptional, and the atmosphere was great (what kind of atmosphere it is depends on the time of the week). Would highly recommend! Prob the best bar in Alagna.
22/02/2026: An hour's wait (with the place half empty) for two miacce so small they looked like those appetizers they sometimes give you for free before the main course you've ordered, with the single slice of prosciutto heated until it was cooked through and the toma cheese I didn't even taste. Of course, we stopped there and went for a pizza.

15/04/2026: Excellent food. But they don't know how to treat customers. Tensions arise between the son and the father, who offers a helping hand. The mother is an excellent cook. Little respect for the customer, unless they're part of the Balon circle.

That's the problem when you have a lot of people thanks to the flea market; you just don't care about the customer…

11/04/2026: Yesterday I had poke from this place and the experience was terrible. While I was eating, I found a small stone on my plate, which was absolutely unacceptable. Not only was it disgusting, but it was also dangerous: it was so hard that I seriously risked breaking a tooth biting on it.
A mistake like this demonstrates a serious lack of attention to food preparation. I hope you take serious action because situations like this should never happen.
16/02/2026: Recommended! Super-fresh ingredients, perfect pairings, and consistently balanced flavors: every bowl is a guarantee of flavor and lightness.

12/12/2025: €10 for a sandwich, and I also have to pay €10 an hour for table football. They have no sense of humility whatsoever. And the food is also lousy; I can make my own air fryer fries.
28/11/2025: Unfortunately, I've only been there once and I'll never come back. The place is completely dirty, it's scorching hot, and the billiard room is unventilated. To make matters worse, the kitchen is plugged in, and the smell of fried food, along with the lack of air circulation, covers almost the entire place with the stench of fried food. It's truly unpleasant and unbearable to stay in there.
