25/10/2025: I'm very sorry because we've been customers for years, but I'm forced to write a negative review because this evening, and for a while now, the quality of the products has significantly deteriorated... the pizza arrived late, as always, and was very dry and poorly topped.

19/08/2025: Dinner at a friend's house: perfect atmosphere, wonderful company, everything was fantastic... until the pizza. We chose "Il Chiacchierone," but calling it a pizza was already an act of generosity. I'm not sure where to begin: The dough was hard and dry, almost inedible. One of the pizzas, with salami, was incredibly salty, almost thirsty at the first bite. The flavor? Flat and unbalanced. The cooking? Hard to tell: I don't know what kind of oven they use, but it felt like the product was poorly cooked and left there. Honestly, even at the worst kebab shop in the world, I've never experienced anything like this. Fortunately, I've never personally ordered from them, and I think it will continue that way. In Nichelino, there are many other good pizzerias where you can eat real pizza, made with passion and skill. --- Final note: A disappointment that clashes with the evening. Pizza should be a moment of joy and conviviality, not an exercise in endurance. I hope they improve, but for now... I'll pass.

28/04/2026: I hate to say it, but it was a TERRIBLE experience. My classmates and I came to dinner at this "restaurant" and received a three-course menu. (I'm celiac, to be clear.) My classmates had a plate of pasta with tomato sauce, which was overcooked and considered mediocre; for the main course, a slice of raw meat served with an undressed salad; and for dessert, a packaged tart. It should be noted that both the first and second courses of a friend of mine were covered in hair. Now it's my turn: they brought me a plate of rice with tomato sauce, which was quite decent; the same second course as the others was always edible; but instead of dessert, they served me three mandarin oranges with solidified candle wax on top. And to finish, jugs of water that tasted of chlorine. What would I recommend? To change course.

28/04/2026: I visited this restaurant during a school trip to Turin with my class, and unfortunately, the experience was decidedly disappointing. The service was terrible from the start: the staff was poorly organized, unresponsive to the needs of a large group like ours, and rude. The food also left much to be desired: the pasta was overcooked, practically overcooked, while the meat was served raw in the center, which was completely unacceptable. For dessert, we were served a simple, packaged tart, without any care or preparation. To make matters worse, the water was clearly from the tap, having a truly unpleasant chlorine taste. To make matters worse, we were even asked to leave the restaurant for singing "Happy Birthday" to a classmate. I found this attitude to be completely exaggerated and unsympathetic, especially considering the context of a school trip. Overall, a very negative experience from every perspective. I wouldn't recommend it, especially to groups or school groups: there's a lack of organization and customer service, and the food quality is decidedly low.

01/01/2026: A historic Piedmontese restaurant like few others today. A genuine and authentic atmosphere expressed through friendly and attentive service. Traditional dishes prepared with dedication include five or six typical appetizers, one or two first courses, one or two second courses, including a spectacular Piedmontese-style fried dish, along with desserts, coffee, and bottles of bitters brought to each table. The menu is a fixed price, so there is no à la carte option. This is one of those restaurants that are pillars of Piedmontese tradition...a place worth preserving.

19/12/2025: There's no better restaurant serving authentic Turin cuisine within a 100km radius. Since 1977, I've never left the restaurant without being amazed by the food and service. Mario is an attentive and perfect owner. In the Alta Langa and Alto Monferrato areas, they dream of a Ristoro Villata. Unfortunately, tourists from outside Turin don't understand much about cuisine and therefore can't fully appreciate it. Tant pis

11/11/2025: Unfortunately it is no longer the bar of years ago, I found a very dark place at 1.30pm with almost no lighting, very loud music, it seems like a nightclub not a bar, neither for the management nor for the quality offered, simple toast with ham and cheese filling, moreover of low quality and not even very fresh €5 I would say excessive.

07/11/2025: A welcoming bar, always with a smile! The two Veronicas are fantastic: very kind, helpful, and truly excellent at their jobs. There's a pleasant, family atmosphere every time I go there. Highly recommended for starting the day with a good mood and an excellent coffee! ☕💛

14/12/2025: The best kebab I've ever eaten... Just the right amount of spiciness and well-seasoned with fresh vegetables... The place is just the right size, and you can tell it's clean from the door. Bravo!!! Bravo!!!!!

10/05/2026: Ridiculous, 6 or 7 people behind the counter hidden away eating and laughing while 2 customers wait 10 minutes and after the price paid for 2 cappuccinos and 2 brioches, 14 euros, they don't bring anything to your table, the place needs to be eliminated, awful.

06/05/2026: Terrible, unwelcome guest, with the two staff at the counter talking "intensely" about their own nonsense... a dessert and two coffees... which they had promised me at the table... and which I then had to go and get... and ask for teaspoons and sugar... positive note: excellent coffee...

02/03/2026: I had the opportunity to stop by with my family for a quick lunch. The very friendly staff welcomed us without a reservation. We read the menu and were intrigued by the dish of the day: polenta and wild boar stew. Given the substantial nature of the dish, we chose only this one. Everything was pleasantly good and the flavor was delicate. I'll be back!

29/01/2026: A rustic and quaint place, with a fireplace that takes center stage. The food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient! I recommend it to everyone.

17/12/2025: We booked for a quick business lunch. The atmosphere is a bit dated but well-maintained. The dishes were well-presented and the food was quality.

16/02/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Valentino Du Parc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is really convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was good and included in the price – although it's served at Pasta e Basta, about 100 meters away, which wasn't a problem for us. The rooms were clean, although the sloping ceilings in the bathroom were a bit awkward, but not a major issue. The only minor drawback was that the room was a little warm. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice for a city break in Turin.

24/01/2026: Excellent hotel for the price. It looks recently renovated, isn't very central but is well connected, friendly staff from check-in to check-out, spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable rest, and highly recommended. We also opted for breakfast at a restaurant next to the hotel, which was also very good; not a huge amount but of good quality. I would definitely stay here again if I were back in the city :)
