10/09/2025: If I could give a zero, I would....my friend and I sat down at the table after 20 minutes of no one coming to the table they told us they didn't do table service and putting something that says it would be too much effort given that there were three of them behind the balcony on their cell phones...very rude staff....for goodness sake never again......

01/09/2025: Foreword: I'm writing as a customer, but having worked as a street vendor and bartender, I always try to put myself in the shoes of the person behind the counter before writing a review. About two weeks ago, we went into the bar to get four coffees, two of which were cold macchiatos. They served them at the counter, then we moved them to one of the tables inside and sat down. Since time immemorial, cold macchiatos have been served with a small jug of milk on the side. Not here; they pour the cold milk into your coffee cup, which wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that my wife stood up and asked, "Could I have some more milk?" "We already gave you the milk." "I know, but I'd like some more." "But the milk's already in the coffee." "I understand, but I'd like some more. I'll pay for it, no problem for me." A gentleman behind the counter intervenes, and—I can't tell whether he hadn't heard the previous exchange or simply wanted to agree with his colleague—parrotally repeats "We already gave you the milk." Frankly, I don't understand what could drive people not only to be so stubborn over something stupid, but also to display such arrogance. Are you not good at the job? Don't have the patience or desire to do it because you're tired? Get a grip or change your job, because sooner or later the saying "tit for tat" will come into play. Another thing: is it possible that in 2025 there are still bars with only one bathroom that requires climbing steps to reach? And with a squat toilet at that? In 2025???

24/08/2025: We stopped to see the Toce Falls before continuing with a trip to a mountain refuge. We decided to have lunch at this bar, but unfortunately it wasn't a good decision given the owner's treatment, who was simply annoyed at having customers. We sat outside and, since they don't offer table service, chose from the menu written on the blackboard outside. There were eight of us, and I took the trouble to come in with the list already written down to make it easier. The lady, very rude, kept telling me that I was making it difficult for her to take our order. Then she told me I had to wait at the counter to pick up the plates, which she handed me, with cutlery and no napkins. The children's cutlets included fries, which obviously weren't there, served on a small plate. Since we had asked for sauces, we waited another 5 minutes with our plates in hand, and she only gave us ketchup and not the mayonnaise we'd requested. Other dishes we wanted to order weren't available either (even though they were written on the blackboard). One was roast beef with mushrooms, and the lady even replied, "I'll put porchetta on it so you won't notice." We accepted the porchetta with mushrooms, but in reality it was still a sandwich with porchetta and mushroom cream, not fresh mushrooms as the blackboard implied. Then we ordered something else, and the lady annoyedly repeated that I was really making her uncomfortable because I had ordered rösti, which she had previously refused to other customers, as if it were my fault! The only positive note was that there was a very kind older man at the register. In any case, we will absolutely never go back. Terrible!

19/01/2025: I was there with friends but I must say that apart from the excellent location for skiing, the rest was a total disaster. Dilapidated structure, very ugly furniture and poor cleanliness. Even in the evening from 9.00 pm there was no longer any staff who otherwise had very little experience.

08/09/2025: Really, not as bad as people say. Yes, it's not a top-notch pizza like all the other pizzerias. But it's certainly not bad. A barely passable rating from us.

19/08/2025: Lovely Gelato, great service. Fair and square. It is separate window to open from the street so you will never pay for service. Obviously if you come in and sit it is a charge for it. And it isn't expensive as some other travellers commented. 3 scoups 4€

09/08/2025: Let me start by saying I have a grudge against one of the bar staff. She doesn't know how to make a cappuccino with foam, but if you want Italian lessons on the meaning of the word EMPATHY, she can explain it to you even though she doesn't have it.

22/05/2025: I have been a customer of this bar for over two years, being an employee of the gallery, and I regularly consume from a minimum of €2.00 per day, up to times when the expense has risen to €30.00 or more. A few weeks ago I happened to order a dish from the hot food outlet as I often did, and during the payment they told me that they had put a different one to heat up, which, not being to my taste, I chose not to collect or consume. After that, the employee Gaia, who had taken the wrong order and had already addressed me in a rude manner on more than one occasion before that day, told me that unlike all the other colleagues, I would no longer be able to order without having gone to pay first (which, moreover, always happened very close to the consumption). In response to my request for clarification, he said to speak to the manager Roberto, a person who had always been polite up until that point, today I took the opportunity to speak to Roberto who instead in all rudeness accused me of having often ordered dishes that they then had to throw away, something that had NEVER happened before that day! Starting with: "I prefer to lose customers, look if you want to consume there is Jimmi" (Jimmi is the bar opposite). I had chosen to spend a few words on the issue with the manager because I thought after years as a customer I could get to the bottom of it with the use of common sense and kindness, but since this did not happen and once again I was treated in a completely rude manner I can assure you that my monthly takings as a customer whether they care or not will definitely be reduced!

21/08/2025: Poor value for money, poor quality. We didn't like it. You pay per dish, not per quantity or portion.

12/04/2025: They don't even deserve one star. I order an Amazon package to be delivered to my house, and the courier delivers it to them so they then ask you for €2, without me having asked for any of their services. So they accept someone else's package and ask you for €2 to get it back, if this isn't blackmail. And without a receipt obviously. So much arrogance, horrendous place and everything poor.

11/08/2025: A freshly squeezed orange juice and a sparkling orange soda served in a tiny glass worth its weight in gold. I think I paid 3 kilos for oranges. In Milan perhaps, but we were in Ivrea. It was the first and last time there.

13/07/2025: I don't recommend it, you can get all dirty with the rude pizza chef.

05/06/2025: The bread, baked with great care by the owner in the oven, has a lot of meat in it, and you can choose the sauce you want, so it's really delicious. Koreans, if you pass by here, be sure to stop by.

22/08/2025: I gave it one star because I couldn't give it less. I've never seen such a bad gelato served. Serving gelato in a cone should be the basis of a gelato shop, but here they're clearly trying to make it more adventurous. Furthermore, the place was empty, but it wasn't possible to eat a cone at a table, not even at the outdoor tables.

02/06/2025: I asked for a medium cup of ice cream (€3.50) and the amount of ice cream that was put in didn't even reach the edge of the cup. The owner, annoyed by serving ice creams on the go and probably also by having customers, prepared the ice cream cones with the rag he had just used to clean the bar counter in his hand.

04/07/2025: Every time the same story, orders after hours you don't know if they will arrive, and it's impossible to contact them because they don't answer the phone

10/06/2025: Ordered 2 pizzas online, it says it will arrive within 30 minutes... after 1 hour it still hasn't arrived... I have to call to ask for information... Not even a free drink for the mix-up. Never again, worse service... not recommended
