02/04/2024: A fantastic lunch First time in this Due Mappamondi Guida Gambero Rosso restaurant, which offers traditional Japanese cuisine as well as innovative Fusion proposals. It is located a stone's throw from Piazza San Carlo, in via Secondo Frola, 4/B. The atmosphere you experience as soon as you enter is of a modern and carefully furnished environment. We tasted Trio Mare e Monti (Mini flambéed scallop tartare - chifa sauce, Nigiri seared salmon - aji amarillo cream, Nigiri foie gras Roasted Rougié - garlic teriyaki), Gyoza Mix (Composition of the four tapioca flour ravioli: Cuttlefish, Prawns , Pork and Vegetables), Iberian Pig (Iberian pork cheek in hoisin sauce, steamed Bao and kimizu sauce), Classic Mixed Sashimi 12 pcs (Selection of raw fish and shellfish by the Chef), Special Nigiri Mix 6 pcs (Mixed selection special nigiri), Amaebi Roll 4 pcs (Red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, Argentinian prawns, salad, avocado, tobiko and mango and passion fruit sauce), Hotate Kai 4 pcs (Rice with squid ink, scallops, avocado, yuzu zest and mandarin sauce), Yaki Udon (Thick soft wheat spaghetti, prawns, vegetables, eggs and flakes of Katsuobushi smoked tuna), all truly delicious and made with excellent raw materials. The room service is professional and precise. The prices of the dishes are appropriate to the proposal and the quality offered. Excellent address, absolutely worth a try.

29/03/2024: Koi Restaurant is more than just a sushi restaurant; it's a celebration of Japanese culinary artistry, delivered with passion and precision. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to indulge in top-notch sushi, tataki, exceptional dishes like the Iberian pork, and a dining experience that's flawlessly executed at every step. A truly remarkable establishment! The sushi selection is nothing short of remarkable. Each piece is a testament to the chef's precision and creativity, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with innovative twists. My boyfriend has been multiple times in Japan and said that the quality of the cut and the quality of the fish is incredibly high! Fresh and vibrant, we felt transported away from Torino straight to Japan. (The Iberian pork is a must-try, I often read a lot of reviews and didn’t see it anywhere in the reviews so I’m mentioning it - unfortunately I forgot to take a picture: it is a bao with a delicious tender meat and there was a yellow paste (not sure what it was but was delicious). Regarding the service it was impeccable! I could go on and on but I will simply summarize with : the food was exceptional and definitely more than worth the price.
