05/06/2025: We came for the Politecnico exam and had some snacks, the service was fast and proper. Most importantly, he was very interested in us, when we said there was no hotel to stay, he made about 10 phone calls to arrange a hotel. I thought he was interested in us because we were Turkish, but he deals with each of his customers individually. He gave me the impression that he solves the problems of everyone who says they have a problem. I really appreciated it, Bravo.

01/05/2025: Before, the old owner was more correct and helpful.. Now the new management is increasingly reducing the size of 🍣 sushi and in many seconds now and side dishes, if you don't take at least 3 dishes, you won't enjoy the portion so minimal. Taking into account the increased price of drinks, wines, coffee and very expensive desserts, alas..., especially ice cream, 5 euros!!! minimum.. for children ???and not at all artisanal... Children pay like adults exceeding 1.30m..even if they eat less than half, I'm sorry,..and the quality compared to the previous management has dropped a lot, alas. I no longer consider it as convenient and good as before, I think, if before you went 3/4 times a month, now we go once every 2 months... with this I hope it helps you... both to the restaurant and to future customers. My opinion.
15/03/2025: We ate lunch today. It wasn't our first time here, we've always had a great time, so we came back without checking the latest reviews, which I must unfortunately confirm... We walk in (the Christmas tree is still there, in March, whatever) and immediately find a table full of jackets and stuff piled up, and we're immediately surprised—negatively, of course. We sit down, order, and everything arrives in a decidedly acceptable time frame. The taste is practically the same as always, everything's fine, but then, a second round of orders, and disaster strikes... One dish arrives immediately, then nothing. It takes 20 minutes for the second course, and we never even saw the others. Furthermore, the grilled salmon we ordered was sold out, but no one bothered to let us know... We pay, and behind the register is a mess of stuff that has nothing to do with the restaurant, dirty and messy. We've come to the conclusion that management has changed and things have fallen into oblivion... Too bad, we should look for another sushi place for when we return to this area.

22/07/2025: Croissant e pasticceria di indiscussa qualità conosciuta da tutti gli Alessandrini. In città è il più bel bar-pasticceria per mio gusto. Prezzi alti ma giustificati dalla posizione centrale, dallo stile raffinato e dalla scelta/bontà. Scelta fissa per colazioni o merende buonissime!
28/06/2025: Locale bellissimo, sia dentro che fuori. Pasticceria fine e di gusto. Colazioni delicate, buonissime. Personale gentile e premuroso, un abbraccio speciale va a Deta, la signora che sta alla cassa e che ci ha guidate nella vasta scelta della patisserié da colazione. Gentilissima e dolce. Grazie per tutto 🩷

10/09/2025: To those who complained about the "self-service" breakfast, I reply: how wonderful! Having breakfast without anyone else around 🤣 Aside from that, the location was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly (though they seemed a bit hasty, and unfortunately I didn't see anyone in person), and the location was excellent! Definitely recommended.
26/08/2025: I booked two triple rooms on Booking.com on July 26th for the August bank holiday weekend. I warned them at least twice that we would be arriving around 9 pm, but they confirmed there were no problems. At 7 pm on the day of arrival, they called us back saying they only had one room available instead of the two we had booked. They blamed Booking.com for offering us only a quadruple room, not exactly the height of professionalism considering how far in advance we had booked.

10/09/2025: I've been there twice. The first time, it was decent. The second time, we paid €20 for a non-alcoholic aperitif, a simple Aperol S. A small bowl of chips with 4 mini croutons and 8 olives, which were also spicy, without asking if it was a problem. The bald guy at the cash register doesn't even show kindness to customers and doesn't even apologize when you complain. The receipt? I wonder why he charged €20 without listing the products. The latter were also of mediocre quality. I don't recommend it.

01/09/2025: Foreword: I'm writing as a customer, but having worked as a street vendor and bartender, I always try to put myself in the shoes of the person behind the counter before writing a review. About two weeks ago, we went into the bar to get four coffees, two of which were cold macchiatos. They served them at the counter, then we moved them to one of the tables inside and sat down. Since time immemorial, cold macchiatos have been served with a small jug of milk on the side. Not here; they pour the cold milk into your coffee cup, which wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that my wife stood up and asked, "Could I have some more milk?" "We already gave you the milk." "I know, but I'd like some more." "But the milk's already in the coffee." "I understand, but I'd like some more. I'll pay for it, no problem for me." A gentleman behind the counter intervenes, and—I can't tell whether he hadn't heard the previous exchange or simply wanted to agree with his colleague—parrotally repeats "We already gave you the milk." Frankly, I don't understand what could drive people not only to be so stubborn over something stupid, but also to display such arrogance. Are you not good at the job? Don't have the patience or desire to do it because you're tired? Get a grip or change your job, because sooner or later the saying "tit for tat" will come into play. Another thing: is it possible that in 2025 there are still bars with only one bathroom that requires climbing steps to reach? And with a squat toilet at that? In 2025???
24/08/2025: We stopped to see the Toce Falls before continuing with a trip to a mountain refuge. We decided to have lunch at this bar, but unfortunately it wasn't a good decision given the owner's treatment, who was simply annoyed at having customers. We sat outside and, since they don't offer table service, chose from the menu written on the blackboard outside. There were eight of us, and I took the trouble to come in with the list already written down to make it easier. The lady, very rude, kept telling me that I was making it difficult for her to take our order. Then she told me I had to wait at the counter to pick up the plates, which she handed me, with cutlery and no napkins. The children's cutlets included fries, which obviously weren't there, served on a small plate. Since we had asked for sauces, we waited another 5 minutes with our plates in hand, and she only gave us ketchup and not the mayonnaise we'd requested. Other dishes we wanted to order weren't available either (even though they were written on the blackboard). One was roast beef with mushrooms, and the lady even replied, "I'll put porchetta on it so you won't notice." We accepted the porchetta with mushrooms, but in reality it was still a sandwich with porchetta and mushroom cream, not fresh mushrooms as the blackboard implied. Then we ordered something else, and the lady annoyedly repeated that I was really making her uncomfortable because I had ordered rösti, which she had previously refused to other customers, as if it were my fault! The only positive note was that there was a very kind older man at the register. In any case, we will absolutely never go back. Terrible!

23/04/2025: Pessima esperienza. Cameriere maleducate e scocciate. Abbiamo ordinato un hamburger e un bacon cheeseburger. Entrambi sono arrivati con il pane freddo (di frigo intendo) e con la carne quasi completamente cruda. Il cheese del bacon cheeseburger non pervenuto. Come contorno una decina di patatine fritte fredde anche loro. Ho avanzato tutto e nessuno mi ha chiesto spiegazioni. Ho notato che anche i nostri vicini di tavolo hanno avanzato le loro portate. Mai più.
14/04/2025: Ci siamo stati il 12.04.2025 per un piccolo spuntino/aperitivo. Locale molto grande in zona Murazzi a Torino Ci fanno accomodare di fuori, a due passi dalla riva del fiume Po. Prendiamo un cocktail analcolico, una coca , pane alla piemontese e fiori di zucchina ripiene di ricotta fritti. Cibo buono, ma porzioni veramente esigue, servizio cortese. Prezzo 37 Euro, che per quanto proposto sono troppi. C'è di meglio in zona...

21/04/2025: Sat down to have a coffee, two seconds later sent away by an overly rude waiter, saying it was just a cocktail bar. I recommend removing the Lavazza sign at this point and above all firing the waiter. There are 4 of us and we will undoubtedly speak badly of the place, stay calm and calm 😘❤️‍🔥

23/09/2025: Choosing a wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you make, and unfortunately, we realized in hindsight that we'd made a mistake in choosing Villa Sorgiva for our June 23, 2024 reception. ​From the beginning, the owners, Stefano and Filippo, seemed more profit-oriented than successful. This feeling, though initially put aside, was unfortunately confirmed over the months and, even more so, on our wedding day. ​Biggest disappointments: • ​Unusable pool: One of the main reasons we chose the venue more than a year in advance was the possibility of using the pool the day after the ceremony. Despite repeated reassurances and our constant requests for updates over the course of a year, the pool wasn't fixed in time (it was already out of order a year earlier). Their promises proved completely hollow, leaving us deeply disappointed just one week before the wedding. • Lack of professionalism and support: On our wedding day, guests (friends and family) were forced to set up the tables, place cards, and seating charts themselves because the preparations hadn't been completed (we actually waited in the car for about 30 minutes without knowing what was happening; friends informed us the following days). Such sloppy organization on the part of someone managing an event of this magnitude is simply unacceptable. For those who had rooms, no directions were provided, forcing our guests to search for them themselves in the apartment complex. • Inappropriate management behavior: The lack of professionalism was also evident in the behavior of one of the organizers in particular. We have witnesses (including the groom himself) of how he took the wedding cake directly from the plates intended for the guests. Furthermore, the same person was seen repeatedly (and significantly) drinking from the open bar during the speeches of the groomsmen and the bride and groom (the open bar was directly behind the speeches, so it remained in the photos). Such behavior is a clear sign of carelessness and disrespect for the couple, the event, and their guests. • ​Surprisingly poor service and attention: The rain made the lack of a solid plan B even more evident. The villa has tremendous potential, but unfortunately, they don't take care of it: the lawn, for example, hadn't been mowed for the day of the event, despite us having informed them of our intention to take photos inside the venue. • ​The positive side: ​Despite everything, the dinner and catering service were of good quality. Unlike many other venues, they allowed us to party until late, but you'll understand that with the myriad of professionals, services, and costs involved for such an important date, these two positive points alone don't cover the mistakes, shortcomings, and inadequacies in the management. The real saving grace was the presence and warmth of our friends and family (as well as the other professionals chosen, especially the DJ and photographer), whose affection made us forget, for a while, all the organizational issues. ​Our advice: ​If you're planning your wedding, we recommend always listening to your instincts. A little inner voice told us something wasn't right, but we chose to trust people. In hindsight, we would have preferred to rely on more credible and knowledgeable professionals (check out the reviews on other platforms for yourself). ​In conclusion, while the affection of our guests made our day special, the experience with Villa Sorgiva was a source of great stress and disappointment. We wouldn't recommend it for such an important event.
07/09/2025: We moved yesterday. If you're not sure where to book, my husband and I recommend Villa Sorgiva, because it's the best! The location is magnificent, a great place to stroll and take photos. Filippo, Paolo, and Stefano, the owners, were always very helpful, friendly, and attentive in the setup, as well as offering advice when we had any questions. The food was exquisite, not only when we tried it, but especially at the reception, our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on our choice! The wedding cake they made was so delicious it literally disappeared, our guests even asked for seconds! So, we thank Filippo, Paolo, and Stefano for everything! The staff for their kindness, courtesy, and impeccable service! We will definitely be back for other occasions!! Review of 7/9/2025
