17/06/2024: HI. On Sunday 16 June 2024 I booked the guided tour by telephone at 11am. The owner, very kind, accompanied us on the visit with detailed explanations. The castle summarizes different eras visible already from the external structure of the walls. The furnished interiors and a beautiful panorama visible from a large terrace. Very nice gardens. Advised.

01/08/2024: great place for a dinner with friends. The place itself seems to have been generated by an artificial intelligence: it features gigantic planes painted on the walls (one of which is smiling), a menu with "beer card" written on the title page which contains dishes with literally incredible names and air conditioning who only knows penguin or camel mode. If this place decided to cook only a limited number of dishes it would certainly be successful, as we could notice that some good dishes and some killer ones were served: in this regard we strongly recommend that you eliminate as soon as possible what is presented on the paper as "ROLL OF VIETNAMESE"

01/07/2024: Coffee break while I was in transit at Colle. Bar open out of season on Wednesday afternoons (those who spend a lot of time in the mountains know that this is not a given). Friendly and pleasant staff. Coffee among the best drunk recently, glass of water and biscuit offered, price lower than 60% of the bars around. Well done, this is the service that is good for our valleys!

26/04/2024: On a sunny Sunday, with very few people to serve, I order 1 sandwich with raw ham and toma and 1 bottle of water. The waitress was rude and listless to say the least, but the sandwich was even more embarrassing. 1 single slice of ham and a very thin slice of toma. Totally not recommended!

13/08/2024: Bella location. Abbiamo cenato fuori. Il menù che ci è stato suggerito ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Consigliato sia per coppie che per famiglie. Sono ben accetti anche gli animali.

03/07/2024: Historic bar in the centre, very good for a breakfast. However, I must make a note: I go there often, being lactose intolerant, I consume vegan croissants, but they are already finished at 8/8.30. Since they are finished at such an early hour, I would advise the staff to make more.

19/05/2024: Tried the tart with lemon cream and Italian meringue. Soft base, balanced cream flavor (not too sweet, but not sour), crunchy meringue and flaked almonds. Fair quality/price ratio.

11/02/2024: Well furnished place, with an outdoor area overlooking the square which is certainly a great experience in summer. Precise and kind service. The menu offers a wide selection of typical Piedmontese dishes, with excellent combinations from Monferrato. We tasted fassina tartare, veal with tuna sauce, pumpkin flan, gnocchi and tagliolini, tripe and braised meat... all exceptional. Compliments!

24/11/2023: Metà novembre, coda di un autunno molto temperato, abbiamo trascorso un bel week end nelle langhe, in occasione della fiera mondiale del TARTUFO BIANCO di Alba (CN) durante il quale abbiamo soggiornato in questa bella struttura a 8-9 km da Alba, immersi nei meravigliosi e sterminati vigneti di Barbaresco. Il paesaggio è veramente stupendo e rilassante. La stanze anche se piccole, sono pulite. Il silenzio regna sovrano soprattutto di notte. L'unica nota stonata è stata la mancanza di acqua calda per la doccia. Ci è stato detto dal gestore, dopo esserci fatti una doccia molto fresca, che la caldaia si trovava lontano e che l'acqua calda ha serie difficoltà ad arrivare nelle stanze più lontane. La prossima volta cercheremo una stanza più vicina alla caldaia. La sala per la colazione è ampia con pareti a vetro sui bellissimi vigneti. La colazione è varia e sufficiente per iniziare bene la giornata. Abbiamo vissuto poco la struttura perché dalla mattina alla sera siamo stati alla fiera del Tartufo. Due note: 1) Il ristorante "VISIONE" che si trova all'interno della struttura, è appena stato concesso in gestione a terzi e lo segnalo anche a Trip Advisor in modo che si possa recensire anche quello separatamente rispetto a Casa Nicolini. 2) Per vedere bene la prima foto panoramica, cliccare su "1/2" in alto a destra della foto.

22/05/2024: Siamo stati 2 sere di fila a cena in questo ristorante, durante l'week end in zona. Siamo stati benissimo, portate abbondanti, e buonissime. Personale super gentile anche con il mio canino 😍 grazie ragazzi x le belle serate 🤩
