17/11/2025: Expensive and poor quality ice cream. I got a cone with salted caramel and extra dark chocolate flavors. The caramel flavor is acceptable, but the dark chocolate flavor, aside from the chocolate chips, tasted like powder. I was disappointed.

01/11/2025: It was a pleasant experience in the company of people who respect the guest, very attentive to what you need to feel better and respond quickly to your needs, very hospitable, with different dishes, cooked on the spot, everything fresh from their garden and from their farm, the large rooms, with large bathrooms and everything new inside and freshly painted, I thank them very much, and I will always return to them when I need a holiday in Ormea where I can then load up on joy and leave behind the daily stress.

09/12/2025: I don't understand the reviews... the place is very dirty: spiders, cobwebs, mold everywhere (in the
main room!)! The sandwich was nothing special, and the fries were really limited; we couldn't get more than 30 (we ended up buying them!). I had a charcoal sandwich: they didn't have peppers, so they put potatoes in without telling me! We ordered six sandwiches for four of us because we were so hungry, and it was a bit pricey (minimum €14 per sandwich)! I recommend a good clean and maintenance! We won't be returning.
15/08/2025: Historic pub in the center of Mergozzo, a very welcoming, traditional atmosphere, excellent food and beer, and super friendly and helpful owners.

10/12/2025: A classic "travaj" trattoria that satisfies the stomachs of workers and casual passers-by with simple but hearty dishes. The €12 formula (first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee) is sure to please everyone! Plenty of seating, no waiting, and the staff is prompt but friendly. Luckily, old-fashioned osterias still exist; this is one of them!

19/09/2025: This is the place that the locals come - and it shows. Food is great at a great price with excellent, friendly service to match. They were able to accommodate my special needs (veganism) with a pizza without cheese, replacing it with olive oil. You'll find more fancy places near by, but if you just want a great meal, nothing fancy, this is your location.
Visited mulipe times during my stay in the area.
To any vegans out there: Just ask the staff to replace the cheese with olive oil, it is the way - way better than any vegan cheese option you may dream of which will just dissapoint.

10/10/2025: I might not even rate the pizza; 5 stars would be enough for the fact that I ordered takeout pizzas for 7:50 PM and the delivery guy rang the doorbell at 7:50 PM. I was shocked... something like that has never happened before!
And the pizza was also very good!
14/09/2025: I preferred to revisit the place a second time to see if the first one was just a coincidence, but unfortunately, although I found the food more than satisfactory, I found the service terrible, both times I had to wait almost an hour for a simple take-out service, really too much! 2 times out of 2 they held me up for almost an hour... really dissatisfied.

15/08/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because there's no way to give it a zero!
I went to this place with my family. We arrived at 8:00 PM and ate at 9:10 PM!
We waited over an hour for three plates of ravioli, which were also really bad.
The excuse was that they only have one pot to prepare the food...
While I'm eating, the waitress comes over:
"Are you finished?" She takes my plate, still half full of ravioli, away from me in a second.
I'm truly speechless. Obviously, there's no discount at the register. Highly discouraged.
30/07/2025: Pizzeria with a fixed lunch menu, a great stop, affordable, excellent service, and good food!
We'll be back!!
