02/08/2025: We went for dinner, there were two of us and two other tables of two, and we waited 50 minutes just to get a nigiri, the quality was terrible and they were tiny. And after a whole hour and a quarter, the other thing we had ordered (sashimi) arrived, so it took nothing to clean and cut it, which they don't know how to do because there were so many scales. Plus, 3 euros for water that tasted like disinfectant, a total of 50 euros with non-existent staff.

13/05/2025: The sushi, the service, the atmosphere, everything is excellent, it doesn't have the all you can eat formula, so it's a bit expensive

12/11/2025: Stayed across the road from here for a few days and came in every day for breakfast and coffee. The team behind the till were courteous, kind and patient with my lack of Italian vocabulary. Great coffee too!

04/11/2025: Very welcoming and bright place. It's a shame that spending €4.50 for a frozen gluten-free brioche means they'll never see me again. Not even specialty bakeries that offer fresh products have these prices.

07/07/2025: Heerlijke pizza, zoals een pizza moet zijn! Dunne bodem en rijkelijk belegd. Als dessert tiramisu gehad. Gewoon zalig!!

22/06/2025: Una buena comida italiana honesta a un costo razonable, con una oferta de vino sensata, es decir, tenían una carta de vinos corta pero interesante, pero también hacían vino de casa muy modesto y agradable al paladar por la jarra. Su oferta principal es pizza con varias páginas de clásicos, pero también giros modernos, y el horno de pizza está justo en su cara al entrar en este pequeño lugar tranquilo de la calle lateral. Tienen otras opciones de comida que probamos también, y una tabla de ofertas diarias. Las pizzas son tan diferentes a las versiones delgadas del Reino Unido como la masa era tan suave y deliciosa. Nos quedamos tan impresionados que comimos allí cuatro noches seguidas! El personal es genial y servicial, y el restaurante debe estar haciendo algo bien, ya que fueron embestidos cada noche que estuvimos allí.

09/06/2025: I was recently at the Osteria and I was truly impressed. A simple but well-kept place, where you can feel the welcome as soon as you cross the threshold. The dishes? Truly exceptional. Each course is prepared with care and passion, with authentic flavors that conquer you from the first taste. The tagliatelle all'arrabbiata were cooked to perfection, well seasoned and full of flavor. The roast, very tender, melted in the mouth. The side dishes and desserts were no exception: everything homemade, genuine, abundant. The staff is kind, helpful and always smiling. They make you feel immediately at ease, like at home. And a special mention goes to the owner, an exquisite person and attentive to every detail. You can see that he puts his heart and soul into what he does. The quality-price ratio is also excellent: you eat well, you spend the right amount and you leave more than satisfied. In short: a true, honest osteria, where you will gladly return. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: Stop for a quick lunch; they also offer a set menu. Excellent dishes, both classic and local.

12/10/2025: A dinner in a truly historic and delightful setting, quiet and elegant, yet still retaining the character of an osteria. Daily and seasonal menus, carefully selected dishes divided into fish and meat. Pasta, such as tonnarelli, is homemade. Chef Rossella is attentive and professional, and I love it when she stops by to say hello and ask for feedback, also sharing the history of the village and the little church. The waiter is expert and professional. The wines are a good selection.

01/11/2025: It was a pleasant experience in the company of people who respect the guest, very attentive to what you need to feel better and respond quickly to your needs, very hospitable, with different dishes, cooked on the spot, everything fresh from their garden and from their farm, the large rooms, with large bathrooms and everything new inside and freshly painted, I thank them very much, and I will always return to them when I need a holiday in Ormea where I can then load up on joy and leave behind the daily stress.

03/06/2025: Il Corona per me il miglior ristorante della zona. Sabato abbiamo cenato fuori sulla terrazzetta nella bellissima location. Personale gentilissimo e molto attento ai dettagli. Menù spettacolare: grande scelta di ottimi antipasti, carne squisita, e…..le acciughe fritte fantastiche. Grande scelta dei vini grazie anche alla loro fornitissima cantina con acquisti anche online. Il mio posto del cuore.

24/04/2025: Viaggio di piacere, su consiglio della proprietaria del B&B siamo stati a cena in questo grazioso ristorante. Atmosfera rilassante e cordiale. Piatti gustosi e curati. Servizio ottimo. Cantina dei vini molto fornita e di ottima qualità. Prezzo un po’ più alto della norma.

19/05/2025: I don't know what the food is like; I only stop by for a coffee if I'm taking my car to the nearby garage. What I can say is that the Italian waitress is friendly, and finding smiles and politeness in restaurants is now a dream. I'm sorry if the management is very mediocre, as some reviews have stated, but the work done with love deserves praise.
