09/11/2025: Simply wonderful. Excellent cuisine. Friendly service. More than fair price.

15/09/2025: One of the less kitschy tourist restaurants in the villagio. Service is friendly, but obstrusively focused on overturn. But the waitress withdraw the wine and spirits menues (several) instantly, when I declared 'no alcole'. Probably she thought I'm muslim. I had cinghiale, which they serve traditionally as ragout with polenta. The cinghiale was fairly tasty, but the polenta as the fried vegetables as side dish had no taste. The waitress then tried to sell aftermeal bits like coffee, dessert. I didn't bought any. In total, I found the bill somewhat overdrawn, a typical tourist trap price.

31/10/2025: In my opinion, the product quality has significantly diminished since the historic period when Rossi's products were exceptional... what a shame. However, prices have continued to rise and have reached extremely high levels; even a simple breakfast now costs more than in wealthy Milan...and we're in Ghemme...

17/06/2025: A small bar, the small village kind. However, they have a nice, fully wooden, furniture and internal decoration, although a bit dark. There is also an outdoor area with several tables, which are a perfect location, especially in sunny days. The food is good quality and the service is very friendly. Recommended, especially for breakfast.

07/06/2025: I happened upon Caffè Don Soria at lunchtime, with the idea of ​​grabbing a quick toast before returning to work. However, as soon as I saw the abundance that the incomparable chef, Simona, was serving, I opted for the full menu. Since then I have had lunch here almost every day and have savoured first courses and first-rate dishes, always very fresh and worthy of a starred chef. The menu varies every day, from agnolotti and rabaton from our area to typical dishes from other Italian regions, such as ossobuco, Venetian-style liver, oxtail stew... Always different sauces, to discover and, if you prefer to keep it lighter, soups, chicken or meat and grilled or boiled vegetables, salads... Mineral water and drinks in general, as well as coffee, are included in the price and, with a little extra, you can have fresh fruit, fruit salad, ice cream or the dessert of the day, often freshly baked, always prepared by the skilled hands of Simona. The service, by Rachele and Simona, is always fast and punctual. The place is simple but welcoming. To try and never leave.

30/09/2025: Noodles in the square in Moncalieri...!!! We had a great time... the people were very nice and kind... We ate outside in the beautiful and peaceful square next to the church of San Francesco... Good food, excellent service...!!

26/07/2025: Now our go-to restaurant for takeout, too. The dishes are truly delicious, and especially the ravioli are fabulous.

12/04/2025: This restaurant was a godsend for us: delicious food at fair prices and very friendly staff. The meat-filled agnolotti was accompanied by a full-bodied Dolcetto Dogliani from Poderi Luigi Einaudi. And then there was the wine selection... heavenly!

18/10/2025: The pizza is good. Tonight we ordered pizzas at 7 PM. My partner left 5 minutes early because we called as soon as you opened... so there was no way around it. But apparently you're just kidding because we've been waiting 40 minutes and they're still not ready. The organization is shameful.

23/11/2025: The best kebab you can eat in Turin. I've visited many places but I've never seen anything as good as this. Everything was great. I especially recommend the Panino kebab. Thank you for everything.

29/10/2025: We did not stay here fortunately but were looking for a quick lunch in the village. This was the worst dining experience during our holiday and possibly one of the worst meals ever. After a long wait we got a table. We didn’t expect culinary delights but we thought how hard it is to ruin a soup or a pasta in Piedmont? Both were bland and worst examples of the same dishes on this trip. But it’s the main course which stood out: both short ribs and cod stew were inedible. When the waiter noticed that we left our plates virtually untouched and was told what was wrong he did absolutely nothing about it. Same with the restaurant manager who calmly accepted our money and sounded surprised that their food was bad. Other diners were complaining in the restaurant both about the wait and quality of food. Not sure how you can act as if you haven’t heard this before? Instead she managed to inflate some prices on the bill and we paid over a 100 euros for this disgusting meal. It should be criminal offence to serve such terrible food!

04/10/2025: A true gem in the Langhe! A balanced blend of historic residence, modern amenities, and meticulous customer service! Excellent cuisine, 180-degree views of the Langhe, with some tables even located in the adjacent park (in the summer). A superb location (and restaurant) for the usual, well-known names in the Langhe. The property is one of the historic structures and charming hotels that no one would ever imagine finding in VERDUNO. Enjoy your stay and enjoy a relaxing stay!

19/09/2025: I came with two friends on a Friday night and had a great time. It wasn't our first time here, but now that they've hired a new waiter, who's also very young and friendly, we had an even better time! Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: I might not even rate the pizza; 5 stars would be enough for the fact that I ordered takeout pizzas for 7:50 PM and the delivery guy rang the doorbell at 7:50 PM. I was shocked... something like that has never happened before! And the pizza was also very good!

14/09/2025: I preferred to revisit the place a second time to see if the first one was just a coincidence, but unfortunately, although I found the food more than satisfactory, I found the service terrible, both times I had to wait almost an hour for a simple take-out service, really too much! 2 times out of 2 they held me up for almost an hour... really dissatisfied.

28/10/2025: The mushroom lunch was excellent in both quality and quantity. The service was courteous, but could be improved, as the waitress assigned to our table was rather inexperienced. The atmosphere was classic, clean, and tidy.

16/10/2025: I RETURNED AFTER MONTHS... EXCELLENT PIZZA AND SERVED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY... BUT THEN I WAITED IN VAIN FOR OVER 45 MINUTES FOR A CHESTNUT PUDDING... THE PLACE WAS FULL... LOTS OF GUYS FOR THE FRIED MUSHROOMS... THEY WERE DEFINITELY GOOD, AS WAS THE REST OF THE MENU IN GENERAL... BUT WAIT THAT LONG FOR A READY-MADE DESSERT... IT'S A MASOCHIST TO GO BACK

30/10/2025: Discovered by chance for lunch. Truly enchanting. Very peaceful setting between two lakes. The cuisine offers a wide variety of options. Everything was delicious. The staff were kind and friendly. We had a great time. We'll be back.

19/10/2025: An excellent place to relax and spend time with friends. The staff is very helpful, the menu offers a good selection, and vegan options are also available. There's a play area equipped for children and teenagers. One very important point: the fence surrounding the parking lot needs to be fixed to prevent accidents if a responsible adult isn't present to supervise children and teenagers playing freely.
