16/08/2025: Yesterday (August 15th), we took the family to Signora Maria's for lunch. The experience was exactly as we remembered it: lunch at her grandmother's house. My partner and I had already been there three years ago and had a wonderful time. Since we're in the area, we decided to return. It goes without saying that the food is delicious, just like on Sundays at grandma's. Authentic food that tastes like home. A blend of Piedmontese and Sicilian traditions brought together by the expert hands of Signora Maria, assisted by her daughter Daniela. We ate until we burst! They brought us multiple appetizers, two first courses, a second course, and a trio of desserts! The peculiarity is that you absolutely have to call and reserve because everything is tailor-made for each guest. A huge plus is their attention to vegetarians; just let them know when you call and they'll be more than happy! A heartfelt thank you again, and we'll definitely see you again as soon as we're in the area again!

16/06/2025: Truly fantastic experience, excellent food, all homemade by the expert hands of grandmother Maria, a truly special lady and family who with love and professionalism have been able to propose a typical cuisine of the highest level. Exceptional wines and superlative desserts (honorable mention for the bunet !!!). We will definitely return with Tiziano and all the company 👏🔝

20/07/2025: Today, July 20, 2025, we visited the Antiche Macine farmhouse. We enjoyed the Buggy experience, and it was spectacular. Attilio, our guide, is an expert and truly pleasant man, with an unparalleled kindness. He offered us coffee upon arrival, and after the Buggy experience, we finished with an aperitif at their Agribar. The bartender welcomed us and told us about their cocktails; we ordered spritzes with their homemade syrups. Excellent. The accompanying aperitif was delicious, and the location left me speechless: clean, welcoming, and intimate. We continued with lunch at their farmhouse (we had reserved seats; it's not a huge place) and ate local products, all excellent. The chef was fantastic. The wait staff, on the other hand, was incredibly patient (we have a 2-year-old, and they never said no to any of our requests). We chose the set menu: rich and varied. There are even two menu options for children, and they managed to please everyone. They have a well-kept and well-organized garden for children of all ages. This family-run business was a pleasant discovery; you can feel the love and commitment behind every single member of the agriturismo in the air... and they made us feel so welcome!!! We'll definitely be back!!

06/08/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, while walking down a small street. It also offers takeout options. The cuisine is of Ligurian origin (Genoa region), delicious, rich, and original, prepared fresh daily using fresh ingredients. The welcome is warm and friendly. What a wonderful discovery! We'll be back with pleasure.

25/07/2025: We were in Lanzo today. We stopped for an aperitivo. The girl took the reservation, but didn't bring a list, so you couldn't choose and see the prices. Then I ordered a fruity non-alcoholic drink, but I've never had them put coconut in it. I'll start by saying that I hate coconut. So after drinking a few, I had to ask for another. They were kind enough, though, not to charge me for it. They also brought a small platter with just a few items and not much to choose from. I didn't have a great experience. Too bad.

04/08/2025: Extremely slow service; we waited a long time before being asked for our order and before being served. The waitress was unfriendly. Prices weren't listed on the menu, and it was unclear whether there was a fixed menu or not (we were told, unkindly, that there was no fixed menu, but then the receipt only said "fixed menu" without any details about the dishes). The bill was high for what we ate (three dishes total, including water, €30). Good food.

28/08/2025: We absolutely loved Pizzeria Vesuvio. We sat in their inside/outside patio (which is lovely). Even on a pouring rain day it was very charming. The service was prompt without feeling rushed or intrusive. Great value, terrific selection of pizzas, in particular veggie options. We shared a Burata pizza and mixed salad and it was the perfect portion size. Many tables next to us were each having their own pizza, not sure how they could do that!
