02/09/2025: A very atmospheric restaurant with a delicious menu featuring truly local dishes. Authentic Italian cuisine with superb pasta and delicious panna cotta. Not a tourist trap, but an authentic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, even to our two young children. All in all, a real highlight!

23/07/2025: We had a truly enjoyable dinner at Acqua Sale in Alba. A charming, well-maintained, and welcoming location, with a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly complements the culinary offerings. Excellent food, quality ingredients, and authentic cuisine. We really appreciated the Salento/Piedmont duo, an original and well-executed idea that combines flavors and traditions in a balanced and never forced way. The service was courteous and discreet. The only small point: a complimentary liqueur/coffee at the end of the meal would have made the experience truly perfect. It's not mandatory, of course, but it's that gesture of kindness that often makes the difference—even just asking for it. In any case, we'll gladly return: a wonderful discovery in the heart of the Langhe.

04/11/2025: If you're looking for a perfect place, you've got it all wrong with the maître d' and sommelier. But if you don't mind the hustle and bustle and the wait for a table (if there's a line and truckers stop by, it means the food is good), you've come to the right place. The waiters are smiling and helpful, the menu is extensive (usually five starters, five main courses, and side dishes) at a ridiculously low price (for lunch Monday through Saturday) with water and wine included, the desserts (homemade) are paid separately but cost €3, and personally, the crème caramel is one of the best I've ever tasted. Natale, the owner, always offers a complimentary amaro afterward. Lunch costs between €12 and €15 per person.

11/09/2025: A corner of the Lower Valley that deserves a visit, both for its location and setting, and for its excellent quality/welcome ratio. It's increasingly difficult to find places—I'm talking about the Susa Valley, which isn't exactly third world—that offer the basics you're looking for and expect: no red carpet, fake, expensive gourmet menus, images that these days are worth more than reality, and now just photocopies, as if it were the only way to work and attract customers. A simple place without frills and promises, a cold beer as it should be, excellent pizza, and an easy, laid-back atmosphere, especially after perhaps a walk or bike ride.

15/07/2025: Great location near Saluzzo Academy Orchestra and in the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. English speaking if required. Food was lovely and good size plates.

16/09/2025: My husband and I spent 3 days and 3 nights full board, and absolutely everything was perfect... cleanliness, room... view... truly delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with daily variations prepared by chef Silvio, who, along with his wife Maria, daughter Sara, and grandmother, run the hotel. They are friendly and welcoming people. We had a wonderful time. We wouldn't have left, and that's all there is to it.

26/08/2025: I deeply regret having to leave a negative review for a restaurant where I remembered an excellent New Year's Eve dinner. I didn't find the same quality as back then. The agnolotti were overcooked (perhaps precooked), the baked potatoes were boiled and blandly baked; the roast veal was not lean and very tough; the sauce was thickened with too much starch or flour. I would have given it a second chance, returning, if I hadn't found the service and welcome so lacking in courtesy. If it hadn't been for the young woman, who was very capable and kind, I would have gotten up earlier and left.

Every visit thus becomes a moment of good food and pleasant conversation. The staff also deserves special mention: friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate every request with a smile. In short, "Da Ciccio" is much more than a restaurant; it's an authentic Vercelli experience, full of flavor, humanity, and atmosphere.

24/10/2025: Exceptional pizzas! Excellent cuisine! Efficient and attentive staff! The owner is also very friendly (as well as capable). Our opinion is overwhelmingly positive. Especially for business lunches, groups, or dinners with friends. Definitely less suitable for couples or romantic dinners. Ample parking. Enjoy your stay!

05/11/2025: First time dining at this pizzeria and a super positive experience, excellent pizza and excellent service, really good despite there being more than 30 people for an anniversary, the pizzas arrived promptly.

01/11/2025: We ordered the pizza for home delivery, it arrived hot, the only thing was that many of the toppings had slipped off half of the pizza. Overall it was very good and I highly recommend it.

08/11/2025: The place has a rich history, just like the owner, a man who loves what he does. The story of his Krumiri: you can taste each ingredient one by one as you taste them. The wheat, the eggs, the climate, a truly incredible attention to detail, for a truly unique product, and the zabaglione is no exception.
