I didn't think it was right that they charged me 2.5 euros for a "coperto" (a small fee) without warning or any written notice, and they didn't even give us any bread!
The menu isn't expensive.
They were a bit careless and brought me a savory spinach pie with a hair inside.
12/10/2025: Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Even though they closed at 11:30 p.m. and arrived at 11 p.m. on a Sunday when they were clearing up, they served us and let us order. Although we wanted to take it to go so as not to disturb us, they told us to sit down without any problem. The service was especially friendly, and the food was very good. It was also very cheap. €24 for two full pizzas and two drinks.

As for the restaurant, it's truly excellent... from the pizza to the grilled meats, everything cooked in a wood-fired oven. Their specialty, the ula al furn, is a must-try, made the way it used to be... excellent value for money... in short, if you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

02/09/2025: This is my second time here, and I'll definitely be back for a third. The quality of the food is evident from the amuse bouche. We sampled several dishes from the à la carte menu, and each was carefully crafted and presented, both in the plating and in the explanations given by the wait staff. We found the service welcoming, professional, and delicious. The criticisms I've read about the prices seem unfounded to me; quality comes at a price, as does the work that goes into each course. If I want to spend little and eat mediocre food, there are plenty of other places to go. This place is for a culinary experience, and we certainly didn't leave hungry; quite the opposite. Special thanks to the staff: knowledgeable, attentive, and impeccable. The wine list is highly regarded, with some unusual offerings. In short, a real gem in Asti.
01/09/2025: Truly excellent! Second time we've been there, we've discovered various dishes, all elegantly prepared and with excellent combinations. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We opted for the Cavallo Scosso tasting menu! The soft and crunchy rabbit was the highlight, and this triple chocolate dessert was out of this world! The welcome mousse bouche was delicious... my favorite will always be the cherry tomato!!!!!! So much stuff!! Congratulations again!

The food is delicious, you can choose your broth (I recommend the lemon one) and then take the food from the fridge and boil it.
You can create your own sauce however you want by having various ingredients available.
Overall, I highly recommend it.
30/08/2025: I'll start by saying this is my second time here, and just as I was the first time, I was thrilled. It's perfect, to say the least. The quality is top-notch, and they even help me choose the right sauces to accompany the dishes. For those who haven't been before, they explain everything step by step. A special thanks goes to the head waiter, Giulio, who is always very helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and above all, genuinely nice. We'll see you again soon.

08/10/2025: Simple place but top-notch cuisine and service, classic Piedmontese dishes but carefully prepared and delicious, everything prepared with care, the girl always came for seconds, I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back, there is also a covered outdoor area, worth trying even in the nicer season... The chef and I believe also the owner is a really nice person... What a discovery.

12/10/2025: The boiled meat is the great disappointment, served dry, and not in the typical trolley, rubbery cotechino, tough tongue, lean head, in the great Piedmontese boiled meat the green and red sauce is included, not the green sauce, which is something else, 4 boiled meats for 4 adults, and little more than a cup of coffee for the sauces, too little, if I wanted to eat a boiled meat like this I would have gone to Veneto or Emilia, not to Carrù, the world home of boiled meat, very disappointed
