TYPICAL HALF-DAY LUNCH We stumbled upon this place by chance for a weekday lunch. The informal, super-busy place, but the service is quick and friendly. Having not looked online beforehand and not booked for lunch, we found a few traditional Piedmontese dishes, like taglierin (typical), but with Genoese pesto, probably because they cater business lunches for locals! Overall, though, they were good! Recommended!

As the name suggests, the atmosphere is reminiscent of old Piedmontese trattorias. The kitchen offers a variety of dishes, from appetizers to dessert. Everything is delicious! The service is well-organized, fast, and friendly.

If you're looking for somewhere to eat, look no further, but if you want an excellent, "easy" dinner, this is the place to go. Good food, generous portions, friendly and courteous staff, and fast service. I've known La Piola for 30 years, and every time I return, I'm always happy. Tip: make a reservation! It's packed both at lunch and dinner.

Delicious local specialties. Despite my limited Italian, they served me very well and gave me a very warm welcome! €15 for a four-course meal is also very reasonable!

19/04/2026: Simply perfect restaurant. The interior is well-kept and welcoming (not for animal rights activists). The service is prompt and attentive, always with a smile. The traditional dishes are served with care and expertise; the desserts are highly recommended. Definitely worth a try. Duncan

The original and welcoming decor and the excellent agnolotti al lardo are also worth mentioning. Definitely one of the best places I've encountered in the Sestriere area.

Ristorante Pizzeria Peperosso

01/05/2026: First time for us, I found a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price... we will be back!
27/04/2026: I've now been here twice so I'm almost like a local. They have great bands - not big names - but good music. This time it was a seven piece salsa band who were great. You have to reserve a table if you don't want to stand. I recommend this place.
