01/08/2026: Regarding the food, some pasta came cold to the table and the shrimp was almost inexistent, the 80 euro fish was good (per person)… in summary, not worthy to go there (we ate much better food at the Conad market). We were in a big family and did a reservation outside, yet we were asked to not speak loud (there were people with hearing disabilities in the table which required a loud communication and that’s why we were outside), if you have kids or are in a big family, maybe this is not the place to be welcome.

26/07/2026: A welcoming and refined restaurant, offering original and high-quality cuisine. We loved it so much that we returned a second evening in a row, choosing it as the perfect way to end our stay in Otranto. On both occasions, we ate excellently, appreciating the creativity and balance of the chef's dishes. Don't miss the mussel gratin, sea urchin carbonara, and spaghetti alla chitarra with mussels, lemon, ricotta, and bottarga. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended!

07/05/2026: I stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant by pure chance and was truly impressed. I ate everything from appetizers to first courses and main courses, and every dish was prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The linguine with clams in particular was exceptional: you could taste the full flavor of the sea! I highly recommend it, especially for its excellent value.

30/04/2026: Everything was excellent... the first, second, and appetizers were really good, and the price was more than adequate overall. We had lunch on April 25th with a set menu, but finally a set menu at a good price. We'll definitely return and recommend it.

09/07/2026: Very small portions and empty plates. Very expensive for what it offers, the open space is very noisy both from people and from the street. Overall disappointing. The waiters are very polite, they try but the food is mediocre.

16/07/2026: Seafood is best enjoyed by the sea, where it's freshest. Muraya Restaurant is the perfect place for this. Elegant decor and friendly service. We opted for seafood with pasta and, of course, the local delicacy, Crudo di Mare—raw squid, sea urchins, oysters, and vongole. Excellent.

12/07/2026: Really wonderful gastronomy. Our tasting menu (Memories; 5 servings @ €90) was all seafood (except the dessert), and there was finesse and craftsmanship over the kitchen. Menu was paired with a 4-glass €40 wine menu, all regional, that supplemented very well. Fine, value-for-money, dining and it didn’t disappoint with its Michelin recommendation.

The fish is incredibly fresh, of excellent quality, and every dish exudes the full flavor of the sea. The portions are generous and well-prepared, and the cuisine is refined yet authentic, showcasing every ingredient to its fullest. The service was also impeccable: the staff were kind, attentive, and always available. The value for money was surprising, especially considering the exceptional quality of the dishes. 06/07/2026: We've known and loved this place since it opened. It's a regular stop during our summer stays. Year after year, we've enjoyed its growth and transformation. The food is excellent, with dishes prepared with attention to every detail. The wine cellar is excellent, with a wide selection to choose from. Petra is a modern and highly knowledgeable host who professionally guides guests from start to finish (the desserts she prepares are excellent).
