19/09/2025: Great place, I went with my family for lunch and we were all satisfied.

12/09/2025: Is disgusting a good description? Nothing fresh, the waitress taking questions doesn't even know where the world is going, and most importantly, she doesn't know the dishes on the menu. Frozen products aren't even listed on the menu. Commercial to say the least. The octopus sandwich is pricey, about €13, and it contains only two pieces of tentacles. 😂 Terrible food. Don't stop, it's not worth it; you'll just ruin your evening.

08/09/2025: Not once, not twice, not three times...but for well over 10 years, Skipper has been a regular stop on our August evenings in Vieste. Never a disappointment, never a mistake, all the dishes are always perfect and served to perfection, as per the book. Excellent, high-quality products, as is the preparation. Credit also goes to Claudio, who isn't the usual entrepreneur/owner who stays behind the scenes, but is always on the front lines, welcoming customers and being present at the tables to serve and convey the quality of his work and commitment to his customers. A must-see if you visit Vieste!

02/10/2025: It was a fantastic discovery. We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, and even from the outside, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. For appetizers, we ordered octopus meatballs and peppered mussels. Wonderful, generous portions, and above all, DELICIOUS! Next up was a seafood carbonara and a sliced ​​Angus steak with green peppercorns, and I honestly can't describe the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, the tenderness of the meat, and the wonderful interplay of flavors in the pasta. A special thank you to the wonderful Stefania, who pampered us throughout our dinner. Few places are run by people so knowledgeable, passionate about their work, and above all, so passionate about their guests. Thank you so much to you and your staff for making our anniversary a truly special occasion. We will definitely be back to try other dishes, and seriously, definitely go. I recommend it 100%! 30/08/2025: Excellent dining experience here for dinner. The seafood appetizers and first courses we tasted were of the highest quality, everything was truly excellent. The raw seafood was very fresh, truly noteworthy. The restaurant staff was truly friendly and at the same time very professional; they made sure we lacked for absolutely nothing. The atmosphere was very elegant and welcoming. Highly recommended.

16/09/2025: We had a lovely dinner at Underground. We ordered the white ragu and the tuna, which was a nice change of pace. After all the carbs in Italy, am I right, guys? Fellow travellers, am I right? Staff were lovely, but just a 4 in the atmosphere because a group of Americans wanted to catch of the day. The rose was also yummy yummy.

15/09/2025: We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. Diego is an excellent host, and he made us feel right at home. He's very professional and skilled at his... Chef Giacinto's dishes are sublime... the plate of very fresh raw fillets... the fresh octopus that melted in your mouth, and the scampi tartare with a unique pairing... We'll be back to try their first courses.

14/09/2025: I could say the best restaurant in Bari close enough at a Michelin's one. Beautiful atmosphere,the owner is very kind,coming to each table and explaining with passion the plate and the art on it. Everything fresh, desserts on point, biological wines, good service by the Guys. Coming over and over again and every time you find out a new menu.✨️

09/09/2025: First evening on holiday, found on Google, very nice place with ample parking, equally beautiful location, stunning sea view, dinner a little disappointing for the price paid, also misunderstanding about a €19 appetizer recommended for two and paid €38 I pointed out to the waiter, he replied that the price referred to per person.

04/09/2025: Excellent dishes to enjoy with a sea view. The octopus millefeuille was excellent, and the first courses were delicious (both the tagliatelle with stracciatella and pistachios and the seafood first course). The waiters and the restaurant owner were both kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

18/08/2025: After running an errand in these parts, I decided to stop here for a meal, also because I'd been there before and it wasn't bad. I ordered: - Mixed fried food (cod bites, salmon croquettes, shrimp and scampi meatballs) - Shrimp carbonara crostini, and one with octopus ragù, cacioricotta, and basil - Ercole sandwich with sautéed shrimp, zucchini parmigiana with yellow date tomatoes, crispy speck, fiordilatte, and basil mayo I'll start by saying it was good, but honestly, I wasn't as thrilled as I'd hoped, especially since I remembered it as more memorable. In fact, their mozzarella stuffed with parmigiana that I'd ordered a while back was truly excellent. I also ordered octopus with beetroot cream, a sandwich with fried cod, a sandwich with tuna, and a sandwich with shrimp and mozzarella, which were also good... Anyway, I'd happily go back and give it 3.5 stars rather than 3.
