Fabulous food in a lovely setting! The wait staff is so friendly, attentive and accommodating. And they did an excellent job safely managing a severe peanut/treenut allergy. Our favorite meal in Bari!

Before starting... bruschetta with artichoke cream Appetizers FROM PUGLIA WITH LOVE Selection of Apulian extra virgin olive oil served with stale bread, cream of dried tomatoes and capocollo from Martina Franca, sautéed turnip tops and anchovy fillets, stracciatella from Andria First from Ornella MEJO A MARE Mezze sleeves, Apulian cacio podolico, pepper with red prawns and Murgia truffle First Raphael BACK TO THE ORIGINS durum wheat fusillone with "bari cream", potatoes, mussels, pecorino cheese Shared dessert CHEESECAKE Biscuit base with cream cheese and fruit Local bread and friendliness. We came to celebrate a birthday in Bari and this restaurant turned out to be the ideal place for THE evening with friends that everyone dreams of! Like us, you can guess by reading the previous comments that the food is delicious, congratulations to the chef! We will therefore especially remember their best recipe: - a small, somewhat isolated room which gave us the feeling of intimacy that we didn't know we were looking for - was this so as not to disturb the other customers? Good game ! - the best waiter in town - seriously, are you the one who knows the job perfectly or are we the ones who are so predictable? We would prefer to keep the first option. - enough Limoncello to make us forget the next day - remember to drink in moderation but really, who could deny that there aren't always a few moments in such an evening that don't need to be remembered ? Certainly not us. In short, well eaten, well drunk, well laughed. The only question left is: why would you go anywhere else?

This is what we had: A modo mio Broad bean cream with sautéed chard, sun-dried Salento’s tomato sauce and Alta Murgia’s ricotta marzotica (typical apulian cheese) -- Good!! Quite tasty Carbonara di Federico Rigatoni with egg, “capocollo di Martina Franca” (typical apulian salt pork) and “canestrato” (typical apulian cheese) – delightful, however maybe was a white sauce, not just “egg” Teneri incontri Pork tenderloin with Murgia’s truffle (typical apulian truffle) potato cream, veal stock and Galatone apricots (typical apulian apricots) – kinda dull, not a lot of flavor, pork was dry, liked the apricots however. e fosse ... una cartellata? Crunchy puff pastry, Altamura bread (typical apulian bread) mousse, honey and red wine reduction – puff pastry didn’t add much. Mousse with bread crumbs in it was good, interesting bits of texture, overall just ok, but certainly pleasant. Nice restrooms – seats! Don't find those everywhere. Decent facilty but we were on the patio (covered, nice since in a thunderstorm) little english, but friendly and helpful. Great winelist. Menu wasn’t just the typical local stuff, we liked trying different things, even though some not as good as others.

Sono stato attirato da questo locale camminando per Bari Vecchia e per fortuna mi ci sono imbattuto. Grazie a Valter il servizio é stato caloroso, professionale ed impeccabile. Le pietanze erano tutte super gustose e rivisitate. Tutti piatti della tradizione reinterpretati leggermente con elementi innovativi quali i fusilloni alle cozze e le orecchiette. Primi secondi e dolci da leccarsi i baffi. Ottima la carta dei vini. Vale assolutamente provare questo ristorante durante una visita a Bari.
