17/03/2025: Great lunch experience. Tasty dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Fried mussels with honey were a surprise. Traditional taste for the mixed pasta cream with beans and mussels. Excellent fried cuttlefish, calamari and shrimp. To finish, tiramisu. Young and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and attention to detail. Recommended.

09/04/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il 18° compleanno delle mie gemelle, abbiamo gustato dell'ottimo cibo, con varie preparazioni, goduto di una suggestiva location,si evince tanta professionalità e impeccabile organizzazione, un plauso va alla direzione e allo staff, i quali hanno soddisfatto qualsiasi nostra richiesta coccolandoci. L’accoglienza dell’oste è stato il plus: il pane di loro produzione con un intingolo di olio evo e le entree gentilmente offerte sono state la coccola che non mi aspettavo e che mi hanno piacevolmente colpita. Lo spaghettone ai ricci di mare è stata poi un’ esplosione di gusto. Consigliatissimo a chi è amante dello slow food e adora gli ambienti accoglienti dove gustare dell’ottimo cibo.

22/03/2025: A place I found somewhat by chance on Google because I was looking for a nice place where I could dine on fish and the famous Apulian raw fish. I must say it is not in the center of Monopoli, in fact it is among the famous, somewhat isolated streets which are always typical of Puglia. But let's get to us. The place is really very characteristic, clean, welcoming, well kept. The staff is very kind, helpful, very polite and prepared. The menu is quite rich and varied. Obviously I took the raw ones which I must say were very good. A few various starters and everything really good, fresh and well cooked. For the former it was really difficult to choose because they were all more particular than the other. In the end we opted for a pacchero with chickpea cream, clams and crab... delicious and very special... and the orecchiette with tuna, cherry tomato and flaked almonds... also very good. The fish felt fresh. High quality. Paid 117 euros in total and for how we ate and for the overall quality, location, goodness... money well spent.

11/03/2025: We took a land-sea starter, nice, good... the first was the "ficarigna" specialty, pasta creamed in the form of parmesan... more scene than anything else... the pasta was good, you can see it's made by them, but overall very heavy, a welcoming and well-kept place, fast and kind service.

Still excellent quality/price ratio, professional and competent staff, highly respectable location (Specchia is one of the most beautiful municipalities in the Province of Lecce) and in general a warm welcoming atmosphere... 24/02/2025: Un tempo amato, ora deludente. La location, un tempo fiore all'occhiello, è ora trascurata, con dettagli che gridano di datato. La cucina, un tempo rinomata, è ora priva di anima, con piatti anonimi e ingredienti di qualità discutibile. Un vero peccato. Gradevole il crudo mare ma ormai lo mangi benissimo ovunque!
