07/10/2025: A wonderful experience. Six of us, without a reservation, found a table at 10 pm. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff very friendly. The linguine with bottarga and sea urchins was spectacular, and the tartares, like the cod meatballs in a walnut cream, were also delicious.

07/10/2025: I was invited to lunch by a very dear friend, and I must say that everything was just as I'd always expected, both the owner and the delicious food. Impeccable service, super good food, and the wine was delicious. Thank you so much for your culinary offerings; as I mentioned at the table on another occasion, I had the cuttlefish with polenta, a true delight! I'll be back; that's a promise I'll keep even if I don't come with my dear friend! The dessert is tempting, and the special is very inviting. Everything is delicious!

02/10/2025: For seafood lovers, this is the perfect place...we tried the very fresh raw seafood appetizer, excellent...the spaghetti with clams was cooked just right, just the way I like it. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. I've been going there often now...

27/09/2025: It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a wonderful dinner. The food itself – mainly fish and seafood – is truly excellent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The freshly baked, delicious bread is also a real highlight. Add to that the fantastic atmosphere and the attentive service, and you'll have a truly unforgettable experience. But the tables with your feet in the sand are the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back! Grazie mille!

30/08/2025: A lovely seaside restaurant inside a beach club where the food is excellent, especially the first courses. I tried the Troccoli with mussels and lupini beans, creamy and truly delicious, cooked to perfection. The mussels were hand-picked, and the Coratina extra virgin olive oil was used admirably. This restaurant has a very well-organized olive oil list that speaks to the entire Puglia region, featuring all the extra virgin olive oils from every region. The restaurant is family-run, the tables are beautifully set, and the china is beautiful. I drank a glass of Falanghina served at the perfect temperature. The dessert will always remain in my heart: cartellate with goat's ricotta and carob vin cotto. Just the right amount of sweetness, crunchy, fragrant, and a true reflection of the region. Isa, the dining room manager, is very talented and welcoming. The chef is a very kind and reserved person. I was very happy to greet him and get to know him; many chefs should learn from him. She told me how she came up with the idea for the dessert and her approach, which uses a few simple ingredients, all from Puglia. I was there for lunch, but I'll be back soon for dinner.

04/10/2025: First courses with octopus ragù, mussels, and clams, and tubetti with mussels were delicious! Fresh calamari slices with arugula and cherry tomatoes were incredibly tender, and the octopus on creamed potatoes was excellent. It's a shame the fried calamari was a bit tough, perhaps due to overcooking or the wrong oil temperature. Overall, everything was good.

30/09/2025: An emotional journey to experience! Located just steps from the Taranto seafront, the "Ristorantino" is truly charming and has great potential! The young owners, along with their friendly and well-trained staff, are very welcoming and make you feel at ease right away: ready to satisfy every guest's desire with class and passionately explain every single ingredient of their amazing cuisine! The dishes are crafted with such mastery and elegance that they will delight even the most discerning palates, thanks in part to the magnificent ingredients! A story to live, and relive! The prices are more than fair for this extraordinary experience! My sincere congratulations to all the staff!

25/09/2025: An unexpected surprise in a small town in the hinterland of Santa Cesarea Terme. Exquisite dishes, made with quality ingredients and original, well-balanced preparations. Excellent wine selection. Friendly, attentive service. We've already been twice in one week to try more dishes.... Compliments to the chef and the wait staff, highly recommended!

19/09/2025: Expensive restaurant not worth the hype. Unfortunately, our night ended with being asked to tip on top of learning about a “coperta” charge (5euro per person) being added to our check. This was a first for this charge and being asked for a tip on our trip to Italy. Some dishes were amazing, however our octopus was overcooked. We thought that the patio area lacked character. Just a standard white table cloth experience. We did eat at night when it was dark, I’m sure the views from the patio during the day are gorgeous. Overall, good food but high price for what you get (~30euro entrees). There are more affordable and more delicious options in town (~15euro entrees). The end of the meal experience really left a sour taste. We hope that management will remove this practice from their serving team for the sake of future guests.

17/09/2025: I dined last night at the Blu Notte restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel where we stayed. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waiters Francesco and Alessio were very courteous and professional, and the squid ink pasta was delicious. The value for money is excellent, and it's definitely worth considering for anyone looking for a pleasant, romantic dinner in the heart of Lecce's historic center. The restaurant is very clean.

01/09/2025: Great place, we had a great time at Anima e Cuore. Smiling and attentive waiters, very pleasant. The dishes were very good, up to our expectations. A menu offering pizzas as well as typical Salento land and sea specialties. I recommend 100%!

31/08/2025: This place has become a must-try for me every time I visit Salento. Words can't describe the mastery of the preparation and sophistication of the dishes. We're talking about fish cured meats! I don't eat meat or meat products, but I can say with certainty that their fish cured meats are every bit as good as real cured meats. Try them and believe them! Grab a platter, or a tuna porchetta, or a tuna veal stew, and tell me I'm wrong! All washed down with the local rosé... Top! But can we leave out the dessert that literally blows my mind? The frisamisú! I repeat, it's a must-try for me every time I visit. Unfortunately, it seems they're about to cut back on the opening flowers to focus more on their artisanal cured meats, which you can buy if you want 😉😉

26/08/2025: Everything was delicious! The staff were very friendly. The chef was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We ate well and drank very well. I highly recommend it and would happily return. The dishes are very unique, but if you like trying new things, this is the place for you.

21/07/2025: Il Fagiano remains one of the few beautiful, classy places, with consistently refined yet unfussy cuisine. Ideal whether you want to enjoy an excellent lunch/dinner or plan a reception, its legendary dishes haven't changed much over time; they've evolved and improved, but they're still a guarantee of excellence! My only regret is the retirement of their legendary pastry chef! (Not that the desserts aren't delicious anymore, but...the legendary Angelo....) I recommend everyone to experience Il Fagiano; you'll tell me more later.

21/06/2025: Il Fagiano was our caterer at the wedding at Masseria Don Luigi on June 9th, I couldn't ask for anything better, from the service to the food and the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. All the guests were satisfied and complimented on my choice. A special thanks to the restaurant for the excellent success of the wedding, also thanks to them. A guarantee!
