20/03/2026: Update 2026: After the initial excitement, I returned here a few weeks ago, and it was an experience I'll never forget, unfortunately. I had to go home because I felt sick all evening and night after eating. I ordered an egg and a mussel sauté, so I'm not sure which one was the problem, but I don't think I'll be back. Also, the prices have gone up unjustifiably compared to the quality. The egg arrived lukewarm, as did two other dishes my partner ordered. The tuna was tough, the mashed potatoes cold and not creamy, and the baked potatoes were also undercooked and flavorless, some cold and some lukewarm. Plus, they don't bring bread or croutons with the mussel sauté, which has never happened before. If you ask for bread, you pay extra; in my case, a gluten-free mini sandwich cost even more. I no longer recommend it; despite the friendly staff, the quality has dropped significantly.

25/02/2026: The atmosphere is lovely and very intimate. Excellent food, an extra star for the octopus meatballs in tomato sauce!! I would have eaten 10 more!! The same goes for the cod ones!! The owner is very kind, helpful, and charming! The prices are average, medium/high, but the quality is worth it. We'll be back!

01/06/2026: In the heart of Grottaferrata, La Roncola has a cozy and welcoming interior, enhanced by this fire that warms and hypnotizes on the coldest days. We ate grilled meat and their very good and well-plated appetizers. My favorite was the spoon tartare with buffalo mozzarella. Must try.

10/06/2026: Amazing food, tried the fried calamary, cacio de pepe and stuffed ravioli, it was all amazing. This place is mostly for the Roman citizens, so tourist can feel a bit left out, but if you get the food, it is well worth it!

09/06/2026: Classic Roman osteria. Good menu. Well-cooked traditional dishes and average portions. Excellent service. The lady in charge is friendly. The owner is a bit absent; I expected more advice. Good prices. Parking is difficult.

30/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to dine with Mr. Eugenio and his wife. A beautiful location, with easy parking and the perfect place to host a lovely outdoor reception. The interior, with classic furnishings and drapes, is very bright and airy, perhaps a little dated, but overall, the table settings and very comfortable seating make it a minor detail. Restrooms are clean and well-equipped. A la carte and fish menus are available at agreed-upon prices, including drinks, and can be found on their constantly updated Facebook page. The waiters are friendly, professional, and attentive. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. Ideal for communions, confirmations, and weddings, given the many rooms available. I recommend it and will definitely return.

31/05/2026: High expectations, huge disappointment: inadequate service and a sky-high bill. Lured by the fame of this renowned seafood restaurant in the heart of Rome, I booked a dinner with the highest expectations. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be profoundly different from my expectations. The food was decent, but not exceptional. The fish is undoubtedly fresh and the ingredients are there, but the dishes lack the spark of personality one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Good, yes, but absolutely ordinary. The service was the real Achilles heel of the evening; to call it terrible would be generous. The wait was biblical, even just to order, and the staff was inattentive, rushed, and lacked professionalism. In a restaurant with this name, the welcome and customer service should be impeccable. The bill was steep and unjustified. Paying high prices for haute cuisine is a pleasure if the experience is complete, but here the quality-price ratio is completely unbalanced.

09/05/2026: The "SOUTE`" at the modest price of 33 euros should at least be spelled correctly, that is: "SAUTÉ". MICHELIN also notes these details and you can dream of a star.

16/05/2026: The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. It's a neighborhood restaurant, so you can tell the clientele is mostly regulars. The ingredients are very fresh, and the recipes are both original and traditional Roman. I highly recommend it!

14/05/2026: Such a nice relaxing place with a gazebo on a quiet side street. Menu, so many tempting choices and what we got was top notch. They are so nice and relaxed, almost doesn’t seem like a usual Roman place. And actually a few foreigners but not tourist that are here for lunch today. May. Great weather. Super kind service. Love it! Will be back

15/05/2026: A truly excellent restaurant where you can try an unusual version of extremely crispy pizza. I found it a little dry, but still good. The Nutella fritters for dessert were excellent. I think some background music would be helpful. Excellent and well-organized service. Truly skilled and kind.

17/05/2026: Honest trattoria in San Lorenzo! Got carbonara ,arancini,rucola bresaola salad and lobster pasta ,all very good and well cooked! Tiramisu was airy fresh and exceptional! Kind people fast service in a rustic atmosphere plus the very good prices !

17/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, excellent cuisine, both fish and meat. The pizzas are also very good. The desserts are made by the restaurant's pastry chef. Prices in line with the quality but never exorbitant.
