14/06/2026: I went to this restaurant on a recommendation. Sometimes it's better to make the mistake yourself. The atmosphere was confusing and noisy. The waiters, if you can call them that, were inexperienced and even a little rude. We were a group, and everyone ate alone, as the dishes arrived one at a time. The food was mediocre. The skewers were burnt. The fried calamari was fried in cold oil. In fact, the fried food slipped off. An experience to forget.

30/12/2025: A very unique place, worth trying both for the location and the food: pizzas and much more, including a wide selection of first and second courses. The quality is more than decent, and the prices are quite reasonable, considering the current demand. It's worth a try, especially for the helpful staff. Make a reservation if you want to eat here.

25/12/2025: Christmas lunch was mind-blowing today. Confused and incredibly fast fast-food service (by 2:30 they had already delivered all our dishes, so we're talking about a Christmas lunch), and the dishes were almost entirely served cold. Cold lasagna and lamb chops... and that's self-explanatory. €48 total for a mediocre menu. The service was terrible, and it wasn't the waiters' fault (though they were kind), but rather the restaurant owner's, who was planning to vacate the place at 3:30. The wrong dishes were missing, as well as the wrong liquors... It's not the first time I've had a truly terrible meal at this place... and I repeat, €48.

06/06/2026: Recent has dinner here in our last few nights in Italy and unfortunately, the service left us feeling unwelcome from the moment we arrived. When we asked about sitting inside, the waiter abrasive said no, so we sat outside. We asked about gluten-free options and he led us to believe he was bringing additional information or a menu. He never returned with a menu, and we eventually had to ask another waiter, who explained that the gluten-free options were listed under the secondi section of the same menu. Throughout the meal, we noticed that every other table received bread while we were never offered any. It may have been an oversight, but it added to the feeling that we were being treated differently. The food itself was inconsistent. The seafood ravioli was enjoyable, but the cacio e pepe was the worst I had during our trip to Italy. It was drenched in cream and extremely salty, which is not what I expected from this classic dish. My son’s fettuccine with mushrooms was just average. My husband’s seafood ravioli was good, and my daughter, who needs gluten-free options, enjoyed her steak and broccoli. Those dishes are the main reason I’m not giving a lower rating. Another frustrating part came at the end of the meal. After asking for the bill, we waited about 20 minutes before I finally stood up to look for someone. One waiter was hanging out in the hallway, and the other was talking to another table. When I asked again, I felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience when I was asking kindly to pay for my bill. With this being one of the last few nights in Italy, we were hoping to enjoy it eating good food with good people in this beautiful country. However we felt like we were bothering the staff by dining there. No guest should leave feeling unwelcome or undeserving of basic courtesy and respect especially as a guest in their establishment. Response to the owner: Yes, we dined at the restaurant. Our party ordered the seafood ravioli, cacio e pepe, mushroom fettuccine, and steak with broccoli. The review reflects our honest experience as paying customers.

04/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was simply wonderful. From the first moment, you sense a welcoming atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, making you feel instantly at ease. The staff is extremely kind, professional, and attentive, always ready to recommend the best dishes and cater to every need with a smile. The service is impeccable, never intrusive, but always present at the right time. The cuisine is the restaurant's true strength: dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, elegantly and sophisticatedly presented. Each course is an explosion of flavors, well-balanced and never boring. The chef's passion and attention to detail are clearly evident. The wine selection is also excellent, perfectly paired with the dishes, helping to make the experience even more complete.

23/04/2026: Nice restaurant in a depressing neighbourhood, completely empty while the fake Japanese aside is full. Lady waitress seems to be nice and sell us some off the menu dishes with prices told only at request. A sea crudités plate without any taste at all an not even a hint of sea perfume or taste, paired with a supermarket wine sold for 30 euro, two pastas without a hint of saltiness again, 2 mediocre dessert one supposed to be an apple strudel without any presence of apple. Final price 180 euro for 2, same price paid for an outstanding fish dinner with paired wines in Milan. When the bill arrived with the usual “how was everything?” Question answered with a pretty much honest feedback there was not even an attempt to a discount. I didn’t push for reducing at least 20%, although 50% would be more appropriate.

20/05/2026: We went based on other reviews and we're not disappointed. Ushered in by a friendly older gentleman he sat us down and then brought us 5 small plates of various anti pasta - all delicious. We had mains, and puddings, mainly through his infectious enthusiasm. Wine and beer flowed and the place was obviously popular. One of our favourite places in Rome. Highly recommended

05/06/2026: Must try, generous dishes and very well cooked fish.

09/05/2026: The place is simple and is inside the market. I liked it, in the style of an old port restaurant. The first courses are excellent, the second courses and desserts are good. I wasn't really convinced by the raw fish. I like them served lightly seasoned, like with oil, lemon, pepper, or whatever the chef suggests. I'm not crazy about raw fish served completely natural, the same goes for the tuna tartare. Otherwise, I'll eat it at home. In any case, the fish is very fresh.

11/05/2026: A small cozy restaurant with amazing fresh seafood, a must visit on your stay in Rome. The staff is amicable, seafood is fresh, cooked to perfection, i totally loved it, was highly recommended by my Airbnb host. Fried calamari is a delight!The Chef is incredible, we enjoyed his suggestions and warm interaction!

02/06/2026: Perhaps because it was an Italian holiday today, many restaurants were closed. This is a hidden gem I discovered while walking around. The staff were friendly, and above all, the food tasted great. I really enjoyed the seafood risotto and the penne arrabiata. I would love to visit again. ^^

Roberta, the hostess, welcomed us with a warmth rarely found elsewhere, making each guest feel truly special. The service was impeccable, thanks in part to an extremely attentive and courteous waiter. Each dish was a small masterpiece of flavor and tradition. Roberta and her team truly deserve a five-star review, and we can't wait to return to experience this unique atmosphere again.
