This place feels like home. We had an amazing experience here. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming plus they had all these beautiful illustrated books to look at and a corner for our toddler to interact with books and toys. In addition to all of these there was even a small toilet for toddlers! we cant wait to go back here <3

To be reviewed. Nice and well looked after place. Good selection and choice of wines. However, the service was quite slow (15 minutes to order the drinks and a long wait for the second course), excellent food but below average portions (30g of monkfish to say the least - 3 small pieces - leaving you a little taken aback), quite expensive in relation to the quantity of food. We will return hoping we had a bad evening.

I had been curious about eating in this very nice little place for a long time. I'm sorry to have to write that the waiting time was very long, combined with the very small portions.

Il Clivo Bistrot per me non è un ristorante, è casa. Ci torno e ritorno da anni, con amici, famiglia e anche da sola. Utilizzano materie prime di qualità sia per il pesce che le verdure rigorosamente di stagione. Ambiente informale con.personale attento e cordiale. Dolci fatti in casa deliziosi. Prezzi perfettamente nella media. Per me ben oltre le 5 stelle.

Fabulous discovery near the Janiculum. Refined but at the same time simple cuisine, authentic flavors that mix North Africa and Italy, a perfect expression of the Mediterranean. Don't miss the scrocchiole starter, the couscous and the cooked apple broken down with Chantilly and crumbled. Sublime. Kindness and smile in a welcoming environment.

Locale che ci era stato segnalato da una conoscente che abita in zona. La location è bella ed accogliente, il personale cortese e premuroso. Ottimo il cibo. Abbiamo mangiato una scrocchietta ed un antipasto misto con polpette, falafel e alghe fritte; poi due primi del giorno con pesce (ottimi entrambi) ed una torta di mele. Era una serata tranquilla in mezzo alla settimana, i tempi del servizio sono stati perfetti. Sicuramente ci torneremo!!

30/08/2024: The rice with scampi cream is excellent, the tonnarello imperiale is good, well seasoned with mussels, clams, prawns, squid and scampi. The starters and main courses are good. All the staff are prepared and courteous. Overall good quality/price ratio.

Santa Lucia Ristorante

22/08/2024: We have been on the terrace having a prosecco and a beer. It is wonderful, they have brought us snacks and it is not expensive at all, on the contrary, the cheapest we have been to in the area. Excellent quality-price ratio. To return one day yes and another too.
22/08/2024: Food was incredible, especially the black truffle pasta - among the very best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The Black Angus steak was also great. My only complaint is a woman at a table close to ours (we were seated outside) was chain smoking - seriously she had 8 or more cigs during our dinner - and we were directly down wind from her, which significantly impacted our experience and enjoyment in a very negative way. In hindsight I would have asked to switch tables, but that would have made a scene and the maitre’d already showed a little impatience with me by then, so we sucked it up (literally).
