The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. It's a neighborhood restaurant, so you can tell the clientele is mostly regulars. The ingredients are very fresh, and the recipes are both original and traditional Roman. I highly recommend it!

Such a nice relaxing place with a gazebo on a quiet side street. Menu, so many tempting choices and what we got was top notch. They are so nice and relaxed, almost doesn’t seem like a usual Roman place. And actually a few foreigners but not tourist that are here for lunch today. May. Great weather. Super kind service. Love it! Will be back

Delicious food and a really lovely atmosphere. The terrace is beautiful and cozy, and the interior is just as charming. The service was great, and it was a nice surprise that the waiter also speaks French. Definitely recommend!

Going to Clivo Bistrot is like having a little space inside your home where you can eat in a pleasant, bright, and delicious atmosphere. You're greeted with courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism. It's an almost old-fashioned courtesy and a professionalism that many other restaurants try in vain to replicate. The dishes are varied, delicious, and delicious. I always love coming back.

We visited Clivo Bistrot 3 or 4 times during our stay in Rome. We had an amazing time and got to enjoy delicious food, drinks (coffee, wine, etc.) and desserts (cheesecake is insane!) at every visit. The place makes you feel warm to the heart, and everyone was absolutely kind to us - specially to our 15mo. Will definitely come back in our next trip to Rome, THANKS!

A welcoming place where you feel at home, with a relaxing atmosphere. You can enjoy authentic and delicious dishes in their simplicity. Perfect service, kindness and friendliness, and the owner exudes class and elegance. The scents of Morocco and the Mediterranean permeate the air. The desserts are the highlight. I highly recommend it.

Excellent dinner experience. The atmosphere was very refined and welcoming. Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended. Definitely one of the best places in Monteverde and Rome in general.

15/05/2026: A truly excellent restaurant where you can try an unusual version of extremely crispy pizza. I found it a little dry, but still good. The Nutella fritters for dessert were excellent. I think some background music would be helpful. Excellent and well-organized service. Truly skilled and kind.

31/05/2026: High expectations, huge disappointment: inadequate service and a sky-high bill. Lured by the fame of this renowned seafood restaurant in the heart of Rome, I booked a dinner with the highest expectations. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be profoundly different from my expectations. The food was decent, but not exceptional. The fish is undoubtedly fresh and the ingredients are there, but the dishes lack the spark of personality one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Good, yes, but absolutely ordinary. The service was the real Achilles heel of the evening; to call it terrible would be generous. The wait was biblical, even just to order, and the staff was inattentive, rushed, and lacked professionalism. In a restaurant with this name, the welcome and customer service should be impeccable. The bill was steep and unjustified. Paying high prices for haute cuisine is a pleasure if the experience is complete, but here the quality-price ratio is completely unbalanced.
09/05/2026: The "SOUTE`" at the modest price of 33 euros should at least be spelled correctly, that is: "SAUTÉ". MICHELIN also notes these details and you can dream of a star.
