11/08/2024: I had an emotion 3 voucher to use and I ended up here. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. Abundant and varied starter, trio of first courses excessive in quantity, I didn't try the second course because I was already full. Good variety, very attentive and friendly owner. We will definitely return

23/07/2024: Restaurant located inside the EUR Tevere club, usually reserved for members but can also be accessed from outside and there is also the possibility of taking advantage of a discount by booking online. Traditional and welcoming environment, abundant and very good dishes but above all I want to highlight the professionalism and courtesy of Mr Mario who welcomed us and served us with kindness and speed. The only flaw is that unfortunately it is located in a side street, not easily visible from the road and therefore you have to look for it, but it's worth it. I highly recommend you try it, you won't regret it!

Unfortunately, yesterday we discovered that it has closed permanently after 40 years of activity, through the touching message posted outside the restaurant. It was a pleasure to have been your guests, I will remember your linguine with swordfish, cherry tomatoes, capers and Taggiasca olives. Thank you and best of luck!

Gianfranco il proprietario è un grande professionista, al nostro numeroso gruppo ha proposto supplì bruschette e sformato di patate , ottime le pizze (quella ortolana è la migliore che abbia mai mangiato con tutti i tipi di verdure che si possono trovare ) ottima anche la millefoglie gelato , camerieri affabili cortesi e professionali...che dire...un punto di riferimento da sempre. consigliatissimo

15/07/2024: This is a highly overrated run down hotel and property. Service is terrible. I had to refill my own water throughout the dinner, could not find a server to place an order, covered in smoke from multiple tables done with their food who chose to sit in the restaurant and smoke cigarettes and cigars. Misquitos everywhere. Absolutely disgusting.

26/07/2024: We went on Friday evening with confidence, because we know the place and up until now we had always had a good time. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience, from all points of view. The room had no air conditioning, very hot and poorly ventilated. Arriving at 8.15, we ordered more or less a quarter of an hour later; an hour later, 3 out of 5 starters arrived, after another half hour we asked for the others to arrive, which didn't even need to be cooked and had therefore obviously been forgotten. At 10 we were still waiting for the first courses, and in the meantime tables that had arrived after us were being served. We repeatedly asked for the order to arrive, we were promised that there were a few minutes left and that someone would come to speak to us to apologize and explain, but neither of these things happened. At 10.30 we decided to pay and leave. I underline that the waiter was very helpful, the totally fugitive manager left him alone to manage this very unpleasant situation. It's a real shame, it discourages us from coming back again.

25/07/2024: A restaurant that slowly just wants to make money by offering little, for goodness sake the fish is fresh but normal for any fish restaurant with a minimum of conscience, enormous waiting times and a place in decline... it's a shame before it was a small oasis.

06/08/2024: Everything are perfect, the staff are friendly, every single dishes are delicious, the food taste different then a lot of restaurant in touristy area, is the best Italian menu I had in Rome, my favourite are carbonara spaghetti and lobster spaghetti.

04/08/2024: A place between the mythical and the mystical. Management and waiters of mature age, but very competent and very nice. We immediately felt "at home". The food was very good although not very refined, but very Roman. Perfect pasta and meat; recommended wines: excellent. The place is located 2 steps from Termini station. It is worth interrupting the journey for a very, very nice and good lunch break. Absolutely not to be missed for those who love the authenticity of food and people.

It's not an everyday place, but for special occasions it's the best.

31/07/2024: So Review from Driver on tour. Found by chance on Google, given the reviews I booked shortly before on a Tuesday evening, so a quiet evening. took the fixed menu at 25 euros plus water on the side. APPETIZER the seafood salad which surprised me (I was already ready for the super one), instead fresh product, in my opinion I would have cooked the cuttlefish longer, but overall a good product. The croutons are excellent and go well with us. FIRST tonnarello, which I asked to change with spaghetti (due to egg intolerance), with lupins. Dish served very hot, fresh and tasty lupins, the only small flaw is a little too greasy but good. ACCORDING to the frying, taken instead of the snapper fillet, light frying with fresh oil certainly (without foreign aftertastes) let's say "honest". SWEET panna cotta with berries home-made certainly served in a tin mug, spartan, the topping is too sweet evidently bought from the supplier, what can I say, it's a bit sweet in the price, I would make it without sugar, perhaps flavoured. It could be an alternative idea! Right portions "but I'm big" so maybe generous for someone else Spartan environment but not too "expensive" However overall satisfied and quality/price ok. Maybe by trying something else from the à la carte menu you'll see it better, but still worth coming back. WELL DONE!
