20/09/2025: Walked in, alone, just after opening. Despite arriving without a reservation, was greeted warmly and was sat with a fantastic view of Lake bracciano. The staff were superbly accomodating of my very poor italian, and allowed me to ask them multiple questions between options on their menu. They recommended the linguine with the fish of the day, and provided a wine recommendation that worked wonderfully together. For dessert, I was recommended their fruit tart with white chocalate ganache. By far one of the best desserts I've had during my time in italy. As mentioned above, their service was superb. Behind me was seated a group of somewhat loud individuals, and while I didn't mind them at all, the way they were treating the staff seemed extremely rude. Despite this, the staff never showed any signs of being unsettled or annoyed. I rarely say this for any restaurant outside of my town of residence, but I would easily take a trip to the town of Anguillara for the sole purpose of dining at Chalet Del Lago again.

11/10/2025: Birthday dinner with a fixed menu. Tasty seafood appetizers, exquisite ravioli and risotto, and light fried seafood. The cake was superb. Ribolla Gialla served with it. Excellent service, with attentive staff. Clean bathrooms. Very welcoming atmosphere. The price was not exactly what I was invited for, but it certainly matched the service. Easy parking outside.

05/10/2025: Delicious! We had a family dinner here and it was a fabulous experience. The food (from appetizer to dessert) was exquisite and the service was very attentive.

22/09/2025: Neither too elegant nor too casual. Pleasant, from the ambiance to the service. Dinner served on the terrace in the alley behind. Impeccable, courteous, and friendly service. Raw fish worthy of special mention; quality fish is not an opinion. First courses are undeniably freshly made and tasty. Fried dishes done to perfection. Crème caramel worthy of applause. The price is more than adequate for the quality.

07/10/2025: Can’t put less than 4 stars as the view and atmosphere of this restaurant by the lake are absolutely fantastic. The food (primi, meat and fish secundi) is also of good quantity and solid quality although not flabbergasting. Fine but not impressive selection of wine. We enjoyed our time there. Service though is deplorable, the waitress didn’t crack a single smile, took our orders nonchalantly, delivered our plates with as little manner as she could; she took the same approach with tables around us. The bosses weren’t much warmer, including when they kicked us out, coldly stating that they were now closing.

27/09/2025: We really liked the hotel. It's very well located. Nearby, along the river, is a main street with good restaurants. The sea is nearby. However, we didn't like the beaches or the sea itself. We didn't swim in the sea, even though we arrived in Fiumencino a day before our flight specifically with the goal of visiting the sea. The hotel is very clean. There's a shared kitchen for breakfast, but it's very light. We were given a bottle of water. The hotel owner provides a shuttle to the airport. We went to the airport by public transport – bus number 8. The stop is a 7-minute walk away. Tickets cost 1 euro. The bus runs every 30 minutes. We bought tickets at the ticket office at the stop. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, but we were allowed to leave our luggage until 12:30 PM. I recommend staying at this hotel.

02/10/2025: A fairytale setting! The restaurant seems to transport you to another world, located on meticulously maintained stilts, practically in the water. You'll be suspended over Lake Bracciano, enjoying a truly unique experience, while savoring the excellent cuisine. You'll be welcomed by Marco, the excellent host, a kind and courteous person, who will assist you throughout the service. The very friendly and attentive staff will do the rest. The perfect location for banquets and various events, thanks also to their always well-equipped beach, an aperitif area, and entertainment with quality live music and a DJ set for dancing. In short, highly recommended for those looking for something different and quality just a stone's throw from Rome.

26/09/2025: Beautiful lake views, with both indoor and outdoor seating on the stilts, where you can occasionally spot ducks and swans. Excellent dishes featuring lake fish and more, with fast and attentive service. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

14/07/2025: Visitamos dos veces y encontramos la comida para ser consistentemente impresionante. El personal es amable y fue paciente con nosotros, ya que hablábamos poco Italiano. Probamos la carbonara, el fetiche Alfredo, patatas, pizzas y crema Catalina. Algunas de las mejores pastas que hemos comido. El personal era muy amable con mi nieta de 3 años. 09/09/2025: One of the few safe havens for dining in Rome, where more and more people find themselves disappointed for one reason or another, not to mention the increasingly unjustifiable bills. The service here is excellent, the food excellent, the bill absolutely fair, the location impeccable—I've been there countless times. In short, if you're looking for a good restaurant, you've found it.

05/10/2025: We came here for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who was in the area. It's truly a classy restaurant, with truly excellent and fresh fish, a delicious and generous platter of raw fish, and the second course of the day recommended by the waiter was amazing. The desserts were also excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable, professional, and always smiling. The prices were absolutely fair for the quality. Parking was a bit difficult to find, but unfortunately, as is the case everywhere in Rome, at least they have a parking lot in front that, if you're lucky, offers some free spots. Highly recommended.
