La Pantera Rosa In Roma

We came here on our last night in Rome with a group of 8. They easily sat us, had friendly service, and the food was made to order. Everything we ordered was cooked perfect and had good flavor. This is a family-owned kitchen and it showed. The one guy seemed intrigued that we were American, and probably thought we couldn't understand him when he talked about my step daughter as we were leaving. 🫠

Excellent restaurant, I recommend it

A very large restaurant with multiple rooms. The tables are covered with cloth tablecloths and napkins, as is customary in pizzerias and restaurants. The food is excellent (fish, meat, wood-fired pizza), and the menu is extensive and reasonably priced. During the warmer months, you can dine outside, but I recommend dining inside because it's air-conditioned. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is well-known and popular, so it fills up quickly.

We arrived as a large group of 20 people. They arranged two tables for us. The service was great, and the food amazing. It was worth the visit.

Risotto ordered by phone and picked up at the restaurant by my husband. Friendly staff. The risotto with cream of scampi was exceptional. I'll definitely go there again with my husband. Thank you.

A well-deserved five stars! The hospitality and cuisine were top-notch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​We arrived at this restaurant almost at closing time, when many other places would have rightfully passed us by. Instead, the staff welcomed us with open arms: they seated us without the slightest problem, immediately demonstrating a rare kindness and helpfulness. ​Despite the late hour and the tiredness of the kitchen staff after their shift, the service was impeccable, and we ate truly, truly delicious. Everything was excellent, from start to finish, without any rush or sloppiness in the dishes. ​As if that weren't enough, they even gave us a small discount when it came to the bill, a gesture of unique courtesy that shows how much they care about their customers. ​We really wanted to publicly praise this restaurant because finding such a welcome so close to closing time is not something everyone can do. Professional, kind, and the cuisine was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

I stumbled upon it by chance during a work break. The restaurant, as you can see from the photos, is very quaint. It offers traditional fish and meat dishes, fairly fast service, and good value.
