08/06/2025: Decent pizzeria, good choice of pizza types and also whole wheat dough available, but the quality of the pizzas is only average.

Vincenzo was really welcoming and chatting with him made everything even more pleasant. 5 stars that could be 5 hearts, we will be back soon!

01/08/2025: I don't understand what makes the queues so special. The food was okay, but nothing special compared to other restaurants in the city. The atmosphere was like a train station: hectic, cramped, and crowded. Everything was cleared from the table before we'd even finished eating. When we didn't ask about coffee or dessert, we were immediately directed to pay at the bar, even though we hadn't even finished our drinks. Standing in line at the cash register in the passageway was impersonal; we felt very rushed. There are better restaurants with a more pleasant atmosphere and friendlier, more personal hospitality! And better value, too! I've been there twice, and both times I've been disappointed and regretted it.

When we gave the bill they didn't inform us that there is a surcharge to sit on the terrace so they treated us like thieves because we dared to sit on the armchairs, with the expectation that we knew their rules regardless. There won't be a next time.

23/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review for my experience at the counter. The curly-haired lady with her hair tied back who served me behaved in a decidedly unprofessional manner: while she was preparing my ice cream, she continued to eat in front of me, without any consideration. It was embarrassing and unhygienic, especially considering that she was handling food. This kind of behavior is not acceptable in a place open to the public. I hope that greater attention to hygiene and respect for the customer will be taken into consideration.

20/07/2025: I recently stayed at the Gemma Hotel and Restaurant, and I must say that the new management has brought a breath of fresh air and quality to both the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise: carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and authentically flavored dishes. The new management's passion for cooking is evident. The quality/price ratio was good, both for the hotel and the restaurant. Overall, a very positive experience. I highly recommend the Gemma Hotel and Restaurant to anyone looking for genuine hospitality, good food, and a renovated, welcoming atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – We'll definitely be back!

01/07/2025: This is a great place which has a large terrace on the shade side. Absolutely a life saver during a hot summer day. Food and service has been great. I think the prices have been cheaper than typically. We have visited here several times but only around mid day. Location is good
